A great crime thriller that I couldn’t put down! So many twists and turns!

I just wish they didn’t kill the dog, I almost DNF cause it was familiar to my dog with the same name 😢

A twisty turny thriller that makes you yearn to be in Liverpool and mates with the good guys

Terrific debut novel from Laura Graves. It’s relatable, witty and thrilling. It keeps you guessing, I love crime stuff and I had no idea who did it, great twist. And despite the tense horror of the crimes here, the fabulous setting of Liverpool and the attention to detail here really makes you want to be there. Love the characters, they feel so relatable despite the world they inhabit. Highly recommend it.

4.5 ⭐️

‘Hunted’ follows criminal profiler Jo Linnet investigating the recent murders of young girls happening across Liverpool City Centre.

I really loved this book, the constant second guessing, thinking you know who the murderer is just to be proven wrong and the twists and turns throughout made this such a captivating read. I was SO close to giving this 5 stars and cant wait to read Laura Graves next work!

A good page turner with an action packed suspenseful ending. A new author to me and I look forward to reading more by her.

**CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS**
—There was not a list of TW in the beginning but this book does have mentions of g(r)ape, su(i)cide, self harm, death of an animal, and stalking—

This one was unexpected. Crimes (murder to be exact) based in Liverpool are being investigated by a detective and a criminal profiler that gives off“I don’t give a fuck what people think of me” vibes-which I’m all for by the way. This read wasn’t too out of my comfort zone but definitely creative and kept me guessing left and right. Some of the chapters were different POV’S but it didn’t get confusing. It made the story more interesting. I thought I knew who the killer was and then next thing I know I’m second guessing myself and then guessing again. It was truly well thought out. It’s been awhile since I’ve had a book that literally kept me going from one suspect to another and then still being wrong. The chapters were short but the book was the perfect length. For once I didn’t feel like the ending was rushed and everything was pieced together nicely. Definitely recommend if you want a good creepy, dark, twist and turns thriller.
