There's something to be said for getting lost in another world and coming out the other side feeling a little better about yourself or the possibilities in front of you. That's basically the best part of life in a nutshell, no matter what kind of story I'm setting out to tell.

One of the best
This series is one of the best I have ever read - not only by Martha and Micheal, but also by anyone! The story arc is intriguing, interesting, and entertaining! All of the characters are well-developed and ring true throughout. The story of friendship, love, animosity, indifference, sadness, triumph, and just about every other emotion brings life to these written words! I highly recommend the series to anyone who likes to read and especially to anyone who has enjoyed Martha's and Michael's previous work! Thanks for hours of reading joy and ebtertainment!

Captivating Read
Some reviews are easy, others are harder. This one I had to think about a bit. Why?
I think because I have been reading a lot of urban fantasy and each series ranged from between 7-12 books per series. Part of me, as enthralled as I was by this series, just wanted something short and sweet and a little less complicated. However, after saying all that it was definitely worth reading through to the last book. The best part about these long series is watching people and relationships evolve and grow. Also, there is always a strong moral that’s guides the story. In this case the the theme is love, hope and belonging as well as second chances.
As a bonus, the author notes are very inspiring.

Martha and Michael What a team
I wasn’t sure when I started this series if I would really like it. I have read and adored several other series about magical schools and their students. I wondered if I would be reading the same thing again with new characters. I’m pleased to say this series has similarities and yet is at the same time quite different. I did enjoy it and hope you will too.

Amazing series!
An amazing series! This series has a few similarities to other “academy” series but also has many differences. Each book builds out the relationships between the students further. Each book can also be read as a standalone. It includes the magic of elementals and a fair helping of science. Great series for adolescent readers, pre-adolescents, and those that still like to feel like one.

Epic!
Wow, this was quite the rollercoaster of emotions.
So we'll written (aside for a few snaffues,), Martha Carr and Michael Anderle delivered again.
This was a great story with fabulous characters. I loved every minute of it, even when it made me cry 😢.
I highly recommend this boxed set...

Wonderful
This is an amazing story. A group of young people face forces they didn't understand as they develop powers they hardly know how to handle. Through friendship and group effort they grow and become more than they ever thought possible. I'll be looking for more from these authors.

Amazing Series **
I can’t say enough about this series. So much anticipation, excitement suspense and of course love. Sophie and Marcus and the crew have adventure after adventure.

A fabulous read
Superb story and characters. You get into their lives quickly and every book is a joy to read. It has it all, magic, good and evil and redemption. The value of friendship is writ large.

A magical giant oak
I would recommend this series to anyone who likes magic and Elementals. Preteen and young adults will love it. The stories follow adventure, drama, evil and good inside a school for Elementals. Enjoy, I did.

Another cracking journey
Well, this one has been an even bigger rollercoaster ride! Characters you will love, even their faults; individual and group life journeys; family 'fun' and every emotion will be reflected in the reader! A magical adventure perfectly packaged...this pair have delivered yet another rabbit hole I recommend everyone jump into with both feet!!
