As someone who grew up a fan of the “mascot horror” genre (FNaF, Hello Neighbor, Bendy and the Ink Machine), I can confidentially say that Poppy Playtime is, as of now, the superior game and the only one I still currently follow. The others got convoluted with their stories and just kept expanding. The lore in Poppy Playtime is very fascinating and, as of now, actually seems planned out which I appreciated. I have a lot of faith in Mob Games and I hope they don’t ruin this franchise.

I have many thoughts about what role ‘The Player’ actually played.

Btw, P.W is lowkey sassy. Love him.

If you paid attention to the game or watched a lore video, this book will offer very little if any new information. As it's not a game walkthrough, there are also too many pages dedicated to fuse minigame guides.

Welcome to your new job at Playtime Co. This is the perfect orientation book so you can do your job appropriately. It has everything you need to know about the toys and the tasks you'll be required to do. This notebook is special though because it has sticky notes with tips you'll need to survive. Think you're ready? There's an employee quiz in the back to test you and find out!

POPPY PLAYTIME ORIENTATION NOTEBOOK is the perfect companion for fans of this horror game. I love the layout and how it feels like someone complied it just for us. The illustrations make it seem like a fun and happy place even though we know the true horrors. I love the addition of the memos and progress reports along with the employee calendar in the back of the book. It makes you feel like a real employ about to join the team.

Final Verdict: Fans of Poppy Playtime will want to add this book to their collection because it's both fun and entertaining while bringing more love to the game. This is what I would expect to receive on my first day for the job and the impressive and uncluttered layout gives it the perfect, realistic feel.

This book is a really interesting mix of lore we know condensed into one place as opposed to spread through our 3 chapters, project playtime, and some ARGs as well as new hints to the overall story. It’s definitely a bit more focused on laying out the hints we have gotten befor but it also fills in a lot of little logical gaps that wouldn’t make sense to tell us in game. An overall very solid game tie in book that doesn’t leave me with more questions than answers *cough* *cough* FNAF *cough* *cough*

Definitely feels like a strategy guide more than a book that delivers lore on the story. I was hoping for more out of this book and just didn’t get it. All of the lore in this book is something that you could find out by playing the game and adds nothing to the story or the dynamics that you couldn’t already glean from playing the game.

This is a really fun little book that's great for any fans of the Poppy Playtime games. It reads like a legit employee handbook, but with more humour and notes added to explain the darker side of the company. It also includes some solutions to some of the more tricky puzzles in the games.

could learn all of this from a 10 minute game theory video but alas. i suppose even the theorists need to get their source material from somewhere. did preston hide in a port-a-lounge to survive the hour of joy after he and jessica are found by lily lovebraids? who knows

Very interesting, sounds like a lot of “unofficial” rules
From the world of working. Gives you a lot of clues on how to play the game too. I liked the book a lot.
