Ok, so I liked this one. There was a lot of push back from his side because he couldn't believe he found his fated mate. He also didn't think he deserved happiness and a family.

Anyway, he does end up rejecting her. She runs away and gets in trouble 😭😭, but he rescues her, and of course, while he's distressed and searching for her, he realizes she is indeed his fated mate and the only one for him 🥹🥹.

I liked her, I really felt her pain. I'm not going to say what she was struggling with. You'll have to read the book ;).

I wanted a little bit of more time with them together and as a family, but I'm hoping we will read about them in the following books since this is an interconnected series of standalones.

This was my first novel by Savannah Sterling, and I am so happy that I took a chance on her story as I loved Eli and Fallon so much! Their romance contained so many tropes that I love, and Savannah wrote them so flawlessly that I was completely entranced the entire way through. Eli was such a broken, broody alpha. He carried so much guilt over what happened in his past, and his inability to move forward prevented him from recognizing Fallon for who she was--his fated mate. I loved how Fallon was strong yet vulnerable in her own struggles. Once Fallon and Eli are forced together for her protection, they are required to confront their fears and overcome their reservations in order to save Fallon's life and reach for their future. I absolutely loved everything about their romance, and I will definitely be reading more by this author!🖤

Fallon is put under protection with Eli as her bodyguard after an attempted kidnapping. Eli finds himself wanting her more than he’s ever wanted anything, but he takes his job seriously and is adamant about not getting close to her. The only problem is… his wolf has lost his mind. He wants himto mark her. To mate her. To fuck her. And after catching a whiff of her sweet, sweet nectar, hes dying to know what she tastes like….

I love a good fated mates, force proximity, and this was no different. I’ll give it to Eli. He did his very best and his mental demons definitely helped, but I was happy with how the book turned out. The only thing I wish is that it was a little longer and gave more of a glimpse into the future for them

This one didn’t hold my interest in the beginning g the way the others did. Or maybe I was in a slump idk. But I loved the body guard idea and the plot twist at the end. I really loveeeee when the guy goes to rescue his mate something about that really does it for me so if that’s what you’re into this one will definitely scratch that itch!!!! Five stars!! Wasn’t as spicy but had a lot of yearning and romance!!!

I really tore through this one and devoured it from start to finish! Guarded by the Wolf is a spicy fast-paced shifter romance filled with dominant alpha males - some good, some bad, and one fierce female who gets is a spot of trouble.

This is a perfect read to fill the time, like if you had to wait while your kids were at various activities.

A wildly entertaining, suspenseful, thrilling and addictive roller coaster ride to go on with Eli and Fallon. I enjoyed their back and forth banter, their sizzling hot chemistry and when they finally stopped fighting their feelings. Good story!
