I made it until page 12 and I cannot for the life of me finish this, I laughed out loud at how ridiculous every word was (sorry not sorry?). Don’t tell me a singer in the world’s ‘most famous band’ sees a girl in the crowd, calls her a ‘flower peeking up out of scorched earth, out of place among the wolves backstage’, makes sure she gets backstage, tells her “I don’t like them looking at you.” (them being crew members) and IMMEDIATELY STARTS KISSING HER, where it takes a total of one tiny paragraph for him to ‘have to get inside her’ how the- . They didn’t even meet. This was all on twelve tiny pages. Do women really find this attractive and appealing, I wonder.

My main issue with it that it's porn straight from the start and barely any story. And Dutch bookstores have been handing these out to literally everybody :')I saw a bunch of kids buy Percy Jackson books and get this one for free, though that's not Tessa's fault.

Ik kreeg dit boek gratis tijdens de week van het Engelse boek en ik ben zo blij dat ik dit gratis kreeg. Als ik er voor had betaald zou ik nu huilend in een hoekje liggen.

Er was geen plot te vinden, alleen maar seks. Dit boek werd ook uitgedeeld aan kleine kinderen, en dat gaat me te ver.

Het boek las zoals de gemiddelde fanfic op wattpad uit het jaar 2012 (erg specifiek, ik weet het), en dat is absoluut niet positief.

Dit kwartiertje uit mijn leven krijg ik nooit meer terug en helaas heb ik het besteed aan dit boek

This book was so bad that it made me LOL the entire time.

I think this book was written for 13 year old girls circa 2009 era who are in their very early stages of teen hood and are discovering steamy Wattpad short and very unrealistic stories for the first time, while they themselves constantly imagine to go to a boyband concert and make the lead singer fall in love with them and spend their entire lives together.

4 'Not my muse' Stars!

I always wait for the eBook version of whatever Tessa Bailey releases on her audiobook podcast and Find Her was a pretty good novella to read between books! I loved the music / muse theme of it and the chemistry between Hope and Johnny (the sexiness never fails when it comes to this author!). Of course, this was an insta-love novella so you'll definitely enjoy this if you are into that!

Yeah nah. Honestly I only read this for two reasons, I owned a physical copy because I got it for free during English Book Week in the Netherlands and two, I'm doing a readathon where I had to read a book that someone might feel embarrassed by to read in public (is that even correct English? Idek). Now I don't feel embarrassed that easily but this book might have made me feel like that if I had to read it in public and people knew what it was about.

Also why the fuck would you call a woman's vagina 'her sex', just call it what it is, I'm so tired of people using weird words to describe genitals. You're writing smut, just use the normal words no one is gonna demonetise you like YT or IG is gonna. I mean I hate reading sex scenes but the words that were used made it even more cringey.

Oef. Doe het dan niet. Beter geen boek dan dit gratis flutding. Dit was een hysterische 00's videoclip vol met clichés en dito ontknoping. Het verbaast me dat de gemiddelde rating nog 2,76 is. Kan toch niet dit. Zo fucking seksistisch ook. Brrrr, snel in de oudpapierdoos. En ik ga deze maandag ook rap uit de collectie van de mediatheek halen, geloof dat ik nog geen kinderen beschadigd heb hiermee dusver.

I don't really review books on here anymore but I just want to apologize on behalf of all Dutch booksellers to anyone we handed this out to (it is a free novel given to readers written by tb as a gift for the week of the English book). I'm so sorry!!!!!

People have compared this to fanfiction and I think that is the biggest insult to fanfiction. I've read a lot, and i mean a LOT, of horrible fanfiction in my time (i still do) and this is worse than any of it. The writing is cringy, the insta love is just plain psychotic, the smut is disgusting and anti-feminist imo (and not a hot, dark romance kinda way). I think this is what men think of when they imagine fangirls (and no, we don't behave this way lol)
