We follow our FMC, Carina, an old high school friend of hers turned boss, Emery, and our Stalker, Anonymous, in this stalker dark romance thriller.

My thoughts:

I really enjoyed this book! It was dark, twisty, spicy 🥵, and everything you expect from a dark romance novel. The first chapter I was sucked in and curious and wanted to know so much more abt our anonymous villain. I love how we get the story from 3 POVs that ultimately intertwine throughout the story. I never thought I would be rooting for our stalker man, yet here I was wanting him to win over the heart of our Carina.
This book does gave some very heavy subject matter that may not be suitable for all readers. I will include a list of TWs

This was my first book by the author but I KNOW it will not be the last. This was very well written. There were plenty of twists that I didn’t see coming, and some that I did. I still really enjoyed this!

This book will release on October 31st, 2023 and WILL be available on KU. It’s also releasing in paperback.

This is my first read from this author, and it was just OK for me. I did like the plot and it was interesting to have three POV‘s instead of two. The mystery behind the main characters connected past was also pretty interesting. I did think the story was a little too drawn out, and it left me with several questions answered. It seemed like several aspects of the story were set up for something but it just went nowhere and it left me a bit unsatisfied. I did like it enough to definitely want to read more from this author, and I wouldn’t discourage anyone from reading it.

K.M. Mixon is a dark romance queen, and someone needs to put a crown atop her head. This. Book. Was so deliciously dark and twisted, and my eyes were GLUED to the page. I quite literally read it in one sitting; I was TRANSFIXED, and had to have answers to the myriad of questions that just kept coming up!

Carina Eder has been THROUGH it, and things don’t seem to be getting easier anytime soon. She’s haunted by a past she can’t fully remember, until a pair of familiar eyes on the television screen wakes the nightmares. Now there’s one thing on Carina’s mind; finding a way to silence the boogeyman once and for all.

Little does she know, there’s another monster lurking a whole lot closer to home. Carina has a stalker. How does he come into play here? You’ll have to pick up a copy of Voyeur and find out.

This is definitely plot-twist heavy, but in such a fun and tastefully executed way that will have you at the edge of your seat with a gasp poised to drop from your lips every time something shocking happens, and a little squeal when a morsel of information clicks into just the right space of the puzzle and you unlock a piece of the mystery.

Page-turner doesn’t even cover it. Read this book.

* What parts did you like?
I really enjoyed the storyline in this book, it sucked me in from the beginning and had me constantly trying to figure out the plot twist. May I also add it was a great plot twist. I honestly didn’t see it coming until it was almost revealed.
* How did it make you feel?
I loved the spice in this book, If you’ve read and like haunting Adeline you will love this story. Dare I say that I enjoyed the plot more in this story than Haunting Adeline (which I also LOVE). Did I feel like this author “copied” that story…NO, absolutely not. It is a strong story and stands alone by itself VERY well.
* What were your main takeaways?
That I LOVE me some dark romance and red flags!! There are definitely some triggering things to some (I have no triggers, that I’ve found yet), but definitely check yours at the door. There is SA, forced proximity, and unliving of people. Also, can I get a stalker that does my dishes while I’m sleeping?!?
* Would you recommend the book?​
Absolutely, I would recommend this book. I gave it a 5/5 for story, 4/5 for spice (and there was some good spice) and I found me a new author I will be following and reading more from!

This book was quite the roller coaster! The plot twists were perfect and truly kept me on my toes!

I went into this thinking it was going to be a typical stalker romance, however, that was definitely not the case. This was the perfect blend of mystery/thriller/dark romance and made for a truly entertaining read.

If you're like me and are good at guessing how the plot is going to pan out then this book would be a good read for you. I found myself making all sorts of assumptions but I ended up being pretty far off. The last 50 pages I was so twisted up trying to figure out what was happening and who was the "bad guy" and the answer truly snuck up out of nowhere. This is what makes for a well done plot though, you shouldn't be able to guess every aspect of the book, the twists and turns should consume you and leave you guessing.

I gave 4 stars because there were some grammatical errors that left some sentences a bit confusing to the reader but nothing too tragic. This was a really good read and I would definitely recommend this to any dark romance and thriller loving readers!

I don't know if a description has ever hyped me up to read a book so much… and Voyeur DELIVERED. I could NOT get over the amount of times this book surprised me. Just when I thought I had something figured out - BAM - plot twist. Though I did have my suspicions about a few of the characters' true nature; I wasn't upset to see that I was right about most of those assumptions.

I tried really hard to keep it to a minimum, but (especially in the beginning) I found myself drawing a lot of comparisons between this novel and HD Carleton's "Haunting Adeline." The whole "run" game was definitely the biggest similarity and there's nothing wrong with paying homage to a great, it was overdone in a few spots.

I think this plot was way better, however I don't think you can compete with Zade and Adeline's chemistry which is why I tried not to make comparisons, but it's also why I couldn't add that 5th star.

So, this was not my first stalker romance from K.M. Mixon, and since I randomly picked up one of her books, I'm a sucker for her stories and writing. Especially her stalker romances!
Voyeur is not only a stalker romance but provides an insanely intense and surprising thriller plot with lots of wtf moments. I received an advanced review copy for free, and I'm leaving this honest review voluntarily and I'm extremely glad I took the opportunity. K.M.Mixon created a complex and really suspenseful story following intriguing characters with immense chemistry. The plot delivers twists that you'll not see coming. I loved every page in Voyeur and will seamlessly reread it one or a hundred times 🧡🤭

There hasn’t been another author I have found that crosses genres so seamlessly as she does.

This book was amazingly good! It is full of mystery and questions. There’s plot twists all the way to the end. I didn’t want to put the book down and if it wasn’t for kids I would have finished in one sitting.

Carina goes through so many difficult situations and I loved seeing how she changes her life with the help of a special someone🖤

This book was so wonderfully done! The writing always has me feeling like I am the one living out the story.

I have been with K.M. since almost the beginning. She just amazes me with every new book she releases. This newest book is deliciously dark and spicy. Stalker romances are definitely the big rage right now and for a good reason. Carina's "stalker" can stalk me anytime. In fact, for me it was him that I was rooting for the most.

Carina is a feisty woman with curves. Love a curvy, strong FMC. She really bloomed as the story progressed. I did want to throw it out there that I liked Ryker, Carina's neighbor as well. He is a good guy.

If morally grey is your color, then you need to pick up a copy of this book today!

First time reading this author and I was not disappointed, I read it in one sitting.

This is a very well written stalker romance story full of mysterious twists, suspense and quality spice.   All the characters were interesting.  I loved the fact that the stalker lets himself in to do her dishes and tidy up.  Creepy, but I like how he makes himself useful while he stalks her. I also didn't see the main plot twist coming, which is always a good sign.

I'm definitely interested in reading the next book in the series.

What a wild ride!

What a twisty, spicy ride this book was. I have been reading through K.M. Mixon's books, and this one blew me away! The three different POV's had me in love from the beginning, but the twists and turns in the story is what made this my favorite book of her's so far. I thought I knew how this was going to end, but boy oh boy, was I wrong. I didn't see it coming, and it was a perfect ending to this mystery. I loved the characters and the demons they were fighting from their past. I loved Carina's stalker and how their story played out. Honestly, I loved the whole book. It was such a wild ride.

Heat level: 5/5. This book delivered such a twisty story that immediately pulled me in. I was hooked by the title and blurb. Who doesn't love a stalker romance? The surprises delivered, the spice, and the mystery surrounding a night that changed the FMC's life forever were great. It has primal play, blood and knife play, "who hurt you?" and "touch her and die" throughout the book that left me melting in my seat. Carina, I would've chosen the same dude. TWs: SA against FMC, deaths, and torture. I can't wait to read the next one of this series!

I truly enjoyed this book!

In the beginning, the POV switches were a little confusing for me. But I got over that rather quickly lol. I love a good stalker romance and this did NOT disappoint! The characters were all very likeable, and the plot twists had me shook! Even without the smut, this would still be a great thriller! But the smut was ✨️perfect✨️. The MMC is swoon worthy and actually so cute lol

❤️It kept me hooked til the very end trying to figure out who the true bad guy was.

Carina was in the wrong place at the wrong time, in a vacant house sleeping in the bathtub when Emery walked in. He had been drinking and doing some cocaine that was laced with something else that made him want to sleep with a woman. He doesn't remember much from that night but ten years later Carina walked in for a job and he did not know who she was but was qualified for the job and he hired her. This story was so good with so many twists and turns it was hard to put down. If I had to choose only one book, this is it. Wow it was so interesting and original, I just loved the story. Thrilling read!

Such a good read! KM Mixon is a top author for me so I definitely went in blind other than having read a few teasers I've seen her post. I thought I had the twist figured out and I was still WAYYYY off! It made me so happy seeing Carina and Emery heal. The connections blew my mind and I did not see them coming at all! Overall a great read and a definite read if stalker romances are your thing!

Love KM Mixon’s work and this one is no exception, characters that are flawed, broken and complex.
Twisty and winding plot that made me think one way and then to lead off on a completely different direction with such a well constructed ending.
Spice was as always, smoking hot and dark -towel should be supplied.

Loved Carina and all she had survived and KM writes strong female characters and the best Alpha males that I’ve read in a long time.

Having routed for Dexter on TV, I have never found myself routing for a Stalker as much as I did with this book. I won’t say more for this is a story that should be read without knowing the synopsis for better experience. That being said, please check the complex list of trigger warnings before beginning.

I appreciated the slight deviation on the typical stalker story we are seeing more of in recent reads. I found I was genuinely excited for the story and was invested in the plot, as well as the intense spice! I would recommend the book and look forward to future books in this series!

KM Mixon is a new-to-me author. Once I saw dark stalker romance I was instantly sold. Sign me up! I really loved the overall plot. 3 POV’s and the mystery behind all the memory loss. Not once was I bored, defiantly a page turner.
Overall, everything was spaced out perfectly and I’m really happy with that ending.

Now Gage… he’s just a delicious specimen of a man. Unhinged but a perfect morally grey gentleman.

Carina, the main character, the way she grows in the book is inspiring. When you think you know what’s going on, think again cause it’s about to change. Ugh, I was so sad when it ended. This is the first book in the Dark Corruption series. It is, also, the first book that I’ve read by this author and I was very impressed. It’s a twisted, stalker romance with so much spice! This well-plotted stalker/mystery/suspense story is told from three points of view and is simply stunning with all its twists and turns. Wow! I am not sure where to even start. I loved everyone in this book and I was rooting for both Emery and the “Stalker” to win Carina’s heart. Everyone in this story was so interwoven that this one kept me turning pages. I really want more Trevor now though. I can’t wait for the next book in this series!

Y'all please check CW and TW before reading this one, it is dark! With that said can I be jealous that I don't have a stalker! lol JK really JK! This one was wild and really good. The amount of respect I have for Carina, to take something horrible happening to her and turning it around to push herself to win. The twists in this story though I was not at all expecting them. I think that was one of the most interesting plot twists I have read in a long while!

This was a really entertaining and well-rounded thriller/dark romance. The twists and turns kept me guessing that whole time and the spice v. plot was well balanced. It was everything people claim Haunting Adeline to be except without the QAnon stupidity. Will definitely recommend this one instead!

This book is wonderfully written. Fast paced, well edited with very few errors. I couldn't put this down. I found Carina to be a very strong GMC and a relatable character. Loved this. Actual story with the spice! Both delivered. My freaking stalker fantasies brought to life! I love the role play at the end too, like my husband and myself, I felt represented by the MFC! Highly recommend!
