I've been 'reading' this book for a year now, and still haven't managed to buy a house. However, I don't hold Kirstie and Phil responsible for that.

Dull and not especially useful to me as it does not deal with buying a council house under 'right to buy'. But it filled me in on some of the basic things I need to be looking out for and was mildly informative in that respect.

This rating might change once we've put an offer on a house and go through the process!! For now it's quite reassuring and is helping focus our minds on the sometimes overwhelming world of being a first time buyer
