Nero Robards I was an Enforcer for the Woodland Pack in upper Southern Ontario, about three kilometers from Sudbury. I relished the battle but couldn't be bothered to second-guess anyone I'd taken out in the last fifteen years. The house of Woodland was in trouble. The Alpha and his son wanted different things for the Pack. It fell on my shoulders to protect everyone, but I didn't want to have a lynch mob after me, and I sure as hell didn't want to kill any of my fellow Pack members. Getting to Thorne Bay was a challenging task. It took me a good couple of weeks. Most of that time, I was looking over my shoulder. I did what I needed to and covered my tracks as I headed to the small town, where I could lay low for a while. I'd been in Thorne Bay for less than a day, settling in and meeting a few shifters. When I left Jughead's bar with my buddy the next night, a familiar and unwanted scent crushed my airways. Now, I had to find the source and decimate it.
Kismet St. James My sister, McKenna, was the only family I had. We were both planted on the doorstep of a nunnery when I was three and McKenna was maybe six months old. She always lived in the moment, went where the wind blew, and usually landed on her feet. Her being the youngest, she never worried about things like the future. The first place I looked for her was in a rural area with a guy that made my skin crawl. He was good-looking, had blonde hair, was tall, a sweet-talker, and, as I said, something was off about him. My instincts proved right when he locked me in a cell of a converted barn at his home. After three days, I escaped and went to McKenna's ransacked apartment, where I found a business card with an address for Thorne Bay, Alaska. I can tell you, that getting to Thorne Bay was exhausting. I was always saving McKenna's ass from someone or something, but this will be the last time. #fatedmatesofthornebay #Instantattraction The Woodland Pack lived in a small rural town of six thousand people named Chelsea Springs. The Pack worked fifty acres of land where they lived, worked, and sold their goods.
I live in Ontario, Canada, and grew up in a small southern town. I share a home with my mom and have one son, a sweet little granddaughter. We have a close-knit family that makes each day a new experience, along with my furbaby. Books, music, and movies played a central role in my life. By the time I was in grade eight, I had begun writing short stories and was encouraged to continue by both my English teacher and parents. It wasn’t until later that I started to write books, but only after reading everything I could get my hands on. To me, there is no better place to be than between the pages of a book! I am an Indie Romance Author and write Contemporary, Paranormal, and Psychological Thriller/Suspense. My Heroines are Smart, Strong, and Sexy, which compliments their Alpha Male Counterparts with Hero Complexes.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Had me biting my nails never knowing when Stone would show up to steal Kismet. Couldn't put down, read in one sitting. Highly recommend
Another great addition to the Fated Mates of Thorne Bay shared world!
An excellent continuation of the Fated Mates of Thorne Bay shared world! This installment is about Nero Robards and Kismet St. James. I couldn’t put it down. The shared world stories are standalone, but they intertwine with each other.
Nero’s wolf pack (Woodland Pack) has undergone changes as the alpha’s son, Stone, has taken over. He leaves his home in Canada and travels to Thorne Bay, Alaska, for a fresh start.
Kismet is a woman on a mission to find her missing sister. When she searched for clues, she discovered two phone numbers. One was in Thorne Bay, Alaska, and the other led her to the Woodland Pack. Kismet was taken prisoner by Stone and locked in a cell.
Stone is a sadistic arsehole and only cares about his wants. And what Stone wants is Kismet. He will stop at nothing to get her mated to him.
I don’t want to give any spoilers, but Kismet and Nero meet each other in Thorne Bay for their HEA. What happens when they meet? Will Kismet find her sister? Will Stone find Kismet, and if he does, what will happen?
Nero needs to get away from the alpha of his pack. Stone is crazy and Nero doesn't want to challenge him. So he hops on his bike and heads to Alaska. Kismet needs to find her missing sister . Two addresses were found in McKenna's room. She went to Stone first. Our author tells a good tale but occasionally a scene will be cut short or not fully explained. My imagination is pretty good so I had no trouble. Overall I enjoyed this book in the series and it blends in very well with the other author's stories and imaginations.
