Leaving for a mission in deep space with the Justice League, Superman’s apparent PTSD threatens to compromise their mission. He is haunted by the memory of time running out before the sun of his second adopted world turns red and ultimately goes supernova, all while discovering the elites of the planet have been secretly developing an escape plan that will not include the impoverished underclass.

This is one of those where I am really looking forward to the trade, because I know that getting to read all the issues at once will really help the story. In some ways there's a benefit of it having distance because you're supposed to sort of see how long it's taking Clark to recover from what's happened to him, but on the other hand some of the details definitely fade.
The whole thing with the planet he's on, trying to remember the smaller details from the other issues, and how it's building.
I was also interested in the ring, and Clark figuring out a way to handle things from there. And losing his powers, being preoccupied, etc. There's a lot of good story here, and I hope it comes to a satisfying conclusion.
Clark is losing his powers, his purpose, his friends but never his hope. He still believes that he can save everyone from death even if they don’t actually want to be saved. However who is the old man at the end? When did he come from?
