There’s not much to say. The only issue I had was the magic. I didn’t like the issues between CJ and Trey not having their wolves at the same time.

Also the author just seemed to throw the ending together. I wish it was more thought out. I think I would have enjoyed it more if it was. Oh well!

Cheers.

CJ Duncan is a private investigator who mainly finds missing children using her special abilities which are strength and her sense of smell. Now her profession is being hindered by visions which cause her to blackout since her visions seem to keep showing her Seattle she decides to take a side trip there and maybe find her birth father hoping he can shed some light on the visions so she can get back to her life.
Trey Nolan is a beta wolf without all his powers he lacks strength and he can't smell any better than a human which can cause life as a werewolf to be difficult .His pack are having all sorts of problems werewolves that don't seem have all their abilities.Trey believes magic is the answer however Lazlo the packs alpha believes a breeding program is the answer and the two men are locked in a power struggle

One of the best werewolf stories i've read in a while the hero is not the usual alpha and the heroine is not quite as human as she's like to think. This story is so well written and has sequel written all over it as even the secondary characters are very strong and interesting .What a joy to read from start to finish Margo keeps her readers attention and leaves you thinking who will the next story be about .

Knee jerk review:It didn't completely suck.

I absolutely love love love a strong, kick ass heroine. But paired with a beta male? Shoot me now. While this story and the writing had moments of stellar storytelling, it also had some WTF'ery to go right along with it. I think if the hero hadn't been so completely beta it might have helped. A strong woman needs an equally strong partner. 2.25 stars

I liked this book. It had a good premise and an indepth character build. There were a few predictable things closer to the end and I didn't buy some of what happened to get the main female into some trouble toward the end but all and all this was a good story and a great love story. It's worth the read.
