This is something people reading this review don't have to know, but I'll put it out there anyway: The reason why I even got started on this book in the first place was because it was in the bathroom. Yes, I'm one of those compulsive readers who have to read anything they see anywhere they see it. This so happened to be the only reading material besides old issues of NatGeo, so I didn't mind, and just flipped to any random page and started reading. Of course, if one flips to enough random pages, one will realize that one has unknowingly covered half the book. From the nuggets of what I read, this book gave a pretty good impression, so I thought, why not?, and so decided to start from the beginning--the proper way. Of course, it's too late for that now, and I'm pretty sure I'll be finished by New Year. :)
