The Grumpy Little Kobold: A LitRPG Adventure

Rate this book
Living on a Dungeon World kind of sucks when you are one of the smallest species of humanity.

It wasn’t easy being a kobold living in a small town in the Virginia Mountains. While Edwin was safe from the gangs that seemed to own the city streets, he was also apparently safe from doing anything of note with his life.
Dreams of magic and adventure only existed for him in books and movies, until he came face to face with a dungeon monster.
Now trapped in a seemingly endless series of dungeons, Edwin must get stronger or die. After all, The System rewarded those that pushed their limits and faced danger.
And while it would take extraordinary will and strength to survive, Edwin was one grumpy little kobold.

Dungeon World Earth is a place of conflict. Set in a modern day Earth that has been System Integrated for thousands of years, magic meets cybernetics as humanity strives to thrive on a world created to test them.

Contains explicit language, violence, and mild romance.

Fun read and set up for a series

I like the world and the characters. Well paced and lots of world building without it feeling boring. Looking forward to seeing what happens next.

I enjoyed this book, and loved the narration.
I am still at a loss as to what being a kobold is like vs. a vertically challenged human. All I know is he has scales and is evidently cute since he has long had the problem of people wanting to hug him like some little child.
There is quite a bit of action and humor in the story which makes it well worth reading/listening to. And in places you can feel the excitement building in the story in the voice of the narrator, who does a fantastic job with the voices of the other characters and his ability to draw you in (And as someone who listens at 2x speed, this can be a real challenge).

I only kept reading this because it has a kobold as the main character. Wish I had more to say

While a fun read, it seriously needs editing

I would liked to have given it a better rating but it had so many punctuation errors, missing quotation marks, etc, that it really was hard to just enjoy it.
