It's a blend of slice of life and adventure and probably something else I don't know about. Will the MC be vastly powerful? Eventually. Is it soon? Not at all.

great start to a new series
I really enjoyed this start and look forward to the sequels. I never knew how much I wanted to read a good beast tamer story that isn’t just another monster catcher knock off.

I recently dove into this LITRPG novel that pleasantly surprised me in more ways than one. Stray Beast Master is a refreshing departure from the typical virtual reality (VR) game setting LitRPG, and it succeeds brilliantly in this endeavor. From start to finish, I was thoroughly engaged and left wishing for more.
The first thing that struck me was the world-building. Unlike many LITRPG novels that transport readers into a VR game, this book presents a fully immersive system that feels remarkably authentic. The author's attention to detail in class system is commendable, making the story incredibly engaging.
One of the standout features of this book is its diverse and well-developed cast of characters. Each character possesses a unique personality and background, which adds depth to the story. I found myself genuinely invested in their journeys and growth throughout the book.
But what truly sets Stray Beast Master apart is its sense of humor. In a genre often filled with juvenile and over-the-top humor, this book manages to be genuinely funny without resorting to cheap tricks. The character Vip, is his lovable canine companion, provide moments of genuine amusement that will make you smile just by their presence.
Perhaps what I appreciated most about this novel is its departure from the tired trope of a "Big Evil" or "Corrupt System" that plagues so many LITRPG stories. Instead, the plot takes a slice of life direction, keeping readers guessing and engaged.
If you're a fan of LITRPG novels or looking to explore the genre, I wholeheartedly recommend picking up Stray Beast Master. It's a delightful read that will capture your imagination, make you laugh, and leave you wanting more.
