Have you ever listened to a book and the entire time you listen to it you just know the main characters are making terrible choices. It’s like a car accident you can see coming from miles away but can’t stop it. That’s this book.

I loved Luna in book one. She seemed so smart and reasonable but somehow in book 2 she decided to make the worst decisions and then is surprised when things go bad. Knowing this was rejected mates I was not interested in any of the many copious steamy scenes. If anything they made me dislike Maddox even more.

We got practically no Jackson in this book which was a serious shame. The entire purpose of this book seemed to be to mislead the readers, try to make them fall for the wrong guy and then rip the rug out.

Hopefully book 3 makes up for this book. And please give us some steamy scenes of our actual end game couple.

I have such mixed emotions about this book that I don’t even know where to start. I’m so angry and my heart hurts so much that I don’t know what to do with myself. I tried my hardest to keep myself from loving because I just had a bad feeling throughout the entire book that things were not going to work out the way I wanted them to.

I don’t know who I’m more angry at right now. Lily for writing these books or my brain for wanting to read them. Normally when I’m hurting at the end of a book I can usually be optimistic because I’ve thought of ways that things can be fixed in the next book. But I truly don’t know how she’s going to fix this. My heart is broken and all I want is for Lily to put it back together in the last book. I’m putting my faith you woman, please don’t let me down.

Always getting more than expected

Yet again Lily has blown us away with an amazing story. Luna finally gives in to Maddox in the midst of the beginning of a war. That causes some spicy scenes (yay!), but also a lot of drama with the insanity going on around them.

I hate to give away too much in my reviews, but let's just say the ending will be bith what you expect and everything you don't all at the same time.

Excited to read the next in the series for sure and hopefully get some closure on a lot of open questions!

Their parents had their time to save the world, and now it is their turn. Luna also starts stepping into her role as an alpha. This story follows the unique love triangle between Maddox, Luna, and Jackson, but Luna is hesitant to act on her feelings with Maddox because she knows how it feels to meet your mate. They all struggle with their new relationship dynamics, but what is going to happen when another is in the mix. The angst and pain from the first book did not stop there; it carried onto the second one and ended on a cliffhanger. I can’t wait to read the last one in this trilogy.

So I can 100% say that I greatly dislike Lulu Wildhart right now. I say this with so much appreciation for her as an author, but I really really hate her. Seriously woman! First you end book one like that & then now book 2 ends ever worse!!!!! Thank goodness book 3 is out now!

If you cannot tell from the above, this book ends on a bit of a cliffy and I am just a bit salty about it. Beyond my disgust, this book is so epic! It is pure genius! First off I love the relationship changes that Luna goes through. Also we very much make up for the lack of steam in book 1, we definitely make up for it. Holy hotness Luna is in for such a good ride 😉.

AMAZING

So so so so good! I could not put this book down. I finished it in one day and absolutely loved it. Luna is an amazing female lead, she’s fierce, protective and doesn’t back down from a challenge. There are twists that I saw coming and some that were very unexpected. And that ending had me hanging on to the edge of my seat needing more! I’m completely loving this whole series and can not wait for more!

I’m always so shocked when I finish one of Lilys books.I know that they all end in a cliffhanger (other than the last book in the series) but I never know how exactly. I never even expect the cliffhanger that she decides to throw at me. She’s just so good at twisting everything around in your head that you don’t even know what to expect. This ending physically hurt me and I’m so glad that I don’t have to wait to read the last book.

OMG, that cliffy!! While I thought I was prepared, I really wasn't!! Luna and Maddox are straight fire!!! But I am concerned about book 3........🥺. I do know that Luna is going to rock being a badass though!!! And stupid fated mate bonds!!! My only advice for this book is to hold on, it's action packed fire!!!

The heat is kicked up in this book 🔥🔥 and the tension is getting thiiiick, I can't wait to find out what's going to happen next, I'm too emotionally invested in these characters and u don't even know which way to look right now!!
