This book got a higher rating because it involved my husband's family history. What fun to get a glimpse of great-grandpa and his love for grandma!

This early Nephi Anderson book has some rough parts, but it also describes life on a Norwegian fishing boat and in a Norwegian village. Those were my favorite parts. The cheesy romance and the strawmen in the religious "arguments" were my least-favorite parts.
