This book gives such a great explanation of how our brains work and why technology is changing the functions of the brain. It also talks about how to teach kids that are already hardwired to today's technology. Very insightful book.

"...twelve- to thirteen-year-old children in the United States doubled their non-school-related screen time from 3.8 hours a day to 7.7 hours a day in May 2020."

This is a book for educators teaching kids who've often been half-parented by a screen since the day they could hold one. The statistics are dismal, and parents need to stop with the screens. But this book is about how to teach, offering practical ideas. I'd recommend it to newer teachers.
