I’d give it a 2.5. It was a great overview, but it pushed the boundaries on the ‘self-love’ and ‘cultivating your own destiny’ mantras.

Hay breaks down the 7 types of rest that a person needs to avoid burnout. They are physical rest, mental rest, emotional rest, social rest, sensory rest, spiritual rest and creative rest.

Why I started this book: I've been reading plenty of books about rest and the Sabbath.

Why I finished it: Realized that I've heard this list before, and I'm not sure where. But that lessened the impact for me.
