An actuary of profession, Robert started writing his debut novel Elements Unleashed in 2015, finishing it in 2019. Inspired by Brandon Sanderson, J.R.R. Tolkien and George R.R. Martin, he aims to write easy-to-read fantasy novels with multiple POV characters. Currently, he's working on his third installment in the Timekeeper Chronicles series.
Where the first book takes a little while to get up to speed, you are immediately immersed in the action in Trials & Errors. Almost to the point that there is too much happening at once. Without trying to spoil anything this book is action packed and makes you want to explore more of the world and motives of the people in it and the Keepers.
Looking forward to the next installment of this series.
Whereas the first book in this series is a nice read, this book is even better. This books contains a lot more action and thrilling events, which caused me to finish the book very rapidly.
Trails and Errors is the second part of the Timekeeper chronicles by Robert Kroon. I found his debut quite confusing due to the many storylines and am really hoping they will come together in this part of the series. What will Robert Kroon have in store?
The writing style in this book is really drawing your attention even though the lots of changes in storylines might scare some readers away. All in all, I think this book is a lot better than the first parts and I am looking forward to see if the dots will be even more connected in the third part in this series.
