Super hot prequel.

Then the series goes down hill fast. I couldn't finish the third book. Poor writing, mistakes, the author calls the hockey team by the wrong name in book 3. And the MFC is a freaking idiot. She is this educated PhDy and doesn't have an ounce of common sense. I have no idea what the MMC's could even find remotely alluring in her. I'm all about getting what you want se/ually with however many partners you want, but jeash be up front about it.

I tried to stick with it, but I just couldn't.

This is a short prequel into Harlow Jacobs journey towards her professional career as well as her personal life. She taught she had it all, now that she’s obtained her doctorate in psychology and ready to start her career as a sports psychologist and engaged to Kyle after a four year relationship. Only to find out that he’s been lying and cheating on her for the most part. Heartbroken and vulnerable, Harlow decides she needs to have some fun. Therefore, she goes out dancing with her best friend Ruby and it’s the best decision she ever made, because she meets the most handsome, gentlemanly and very alluring men Ash and Soren whom will give her a first one-night stand that will change her life in ways she never saw coming. This is book one in The Palm Springs Raptors series and it is Harlow’s story. When Harlow caught her boyfriend of four years cheating on her she was not only angry but also devastated so when her friends take her to a club to cheer her up she ends up meeting Soren and Ash who are two hockey players and what a better way to get over someone is to get under two handsome men that show her what she had been missing and also a explosive night that she will never forget but that is all it can be just one night together but fate has other plans and also have a strange way of working out and getting a surprise that you are definitely not expecting. This may be a short novella but it certainly packs a punch and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series to see what will happen next.

Told from three first person perspectives (Harlow, Ash, Soren) ONE PUCKING NIGHT focuses on the one-night stand between Harlow, Ash and Soren. Harlow, along with her best friend Ruby, have just discovered Harlow’s boyfriend Kyle has been cheating on our story line heroine. A night out at the local bar, Harlow spies Ash and Soren, and invites the duo home for one-night together. A glorious night, followed by a goodbye kiss, Harlow believes this is the end of their time.

ONE PUCKING NIGHT is a short story that introduces the potential for conflict when Harlow is offered a new position as the sports psychologist to the Palm Springs Raptors, unaware that her fantasy men are two of the players she is about to meet. The fast paced premise is entertaining and indulging; the characters are determined; there is no romance-all is said and done in the blink of an eye. ONE PUCKING NIGHT ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.

After catching her longtime boyfriend cheating on her, she quickly dumps him and ignores any attempt at contact.   Four years of devotion, gone.    A few days later best friend Ruby decides that Harlow needs a night out.  Harlow wants to wallow, but Ruby gets her to get ready anyway.  They end up at a club that she would normally pass on, but new beginnings!  The two of them have a blast dancing the night away and having some drinks.  Finally Ruby admits she can't dance any more.  Harlow says they should go but Ruby shakes her head and insists that Ruby stay and have fun.  She doesn't want to but she also does not want to go home to a quiet apartment just yet.  She keeps dancing, then decides she needs water.  She decides to pay her tab and notices two extremely hot men staring at her!  After a quiet discussion between them, Ash and Soren decide to approach her! Wow, what happens next,? You have to read this for yourself!  This is a really good read, I cannot wait for the next book!

This genre is a bit out of my comfort zone but as I like Charlotte Byrd's books I decided to give it a try, I wasn't disappointed.
Sports psychologist Harlow was suspicious, her soon to be fiance was acting strange, was he playing away from home ? Urged on by her sister, Harlow followed him and was shattered to find him in bed with a girl that he had just picked up in a bar.
Drowning her sorrows, Harlow took her friends advice and went out for a night of carefree dancing, after a while she was approached by two ruggedly handsome men Harlow was flattered, she was drawn to them more than she had ever been drawn to her ex boyfriend, the quiet studious girl came alive, she felt liberated, could she really cast off her inhibitions and have her one and only one night stand with these two gorgeous men ? after all, who would know ? there was no chance of her ever seeing them again...................or was there?
This is a quick novella and a great introduction to a new series.

1st reading: Decently well written. It's a novella, so the plot is basic, and there's not a lot of room for character development, but it does show the three main characters doing something new and different for themselves: None of them has ever participated in a threesome before.
This is a prequel for the first book in a trilogy (or including the novella, a tetralogy). We're given foreshadowing for MFC Harlow's "uh-oh" moment in the first full book. She receives a job offer from the minor league hockey team that the two guys, Ash and Soren, play for, right at the end of the story - because Harlow has already declared to herself that what happened was a one-time thing (and had given the guys a false phone number).
While entertaining, this nine-chapter novella wasn't as engaging as the first nine chapters of Highest Bidder, but again... it's a prequel, so I'm hoping that the next installment will grab my attention more.

Harlow just got her degree for a sports psychologist. She catches her boyfriend cheating on her after four years of being with him. It’s over. So she goes out to a club with her bestie, Ruby. Ash is playing in the minors for the Palm Springs Raptors, but wants to be on the regular NHL Team, Palm Springs Raptors, and the same goes for Soren who he’s with tonight at a club. Lo and behold, it’s the same club Harlow is at alone, after her bestie went home. The three of them catch each other’s eyes and can’t look away. Well, well, well, they end of having a threesome to all their surprise. After all that, she gets an email from the minor league, the Palm Spring Raptors that she’s got the job. Yet she doesn’t know they are the team. Can’t wait to find out what happens next.

I adored this novella, I didn't want it to end and was so disappointed when it did, I don't usually read MFM but this was so well written I couldn't put it down.

Harlow had just graduated and was looking forward to her future with her boyfriend until she caught him with another woman. So on a night out with her friend Ruby, she dances and then meets up with two guys, Ash and Soren, they are both hot and insist on walking her home...Which one will she choose? she chooses them both, as it's a one-night thing why not? They give her their numbers but she gives them fake ones as they won't see each other again or will they?

I can't wait to see where this series goes in the next book.

This was such a delicious teaser for the next book in this series. One Pucking night is an intro novella to Byrd’s Palm Springs Raptors series. After finding her fiancé with another woman, Harlow decides to go out for a night of partying to forget. She meets up with two hocky studs, Ash and Soren, and decides to have a night of fun. It was only for one night...But can will she want more? This novella was hot, steamy and gives you just enough of a taste of each of these characters to keep me intrigued for the next book. I can’t wait for Kiss and Puck to come out and continue their story.

What a hot start to a new series. We meet Harloe, Ash and Soren. She, Harloe, has just finished her masters program and is looking for a job as a sports psychologist. She has a bad break up and goes out with a friend, who leaves early. That is where she meets Ash and Soren. She is usually the shy type, but for some reason she is all in with them and is taking a lot of chances. Their one night together is like nothing i have ever read! Holy hotness overload, I cannot wait to see how this plays out!

This was hot, really really hot. We have Harlow who's relationship ends after catching her boyfriend of four years cheating. She heads to a club to dance like nobody is watching and ends up catching the eye of Ash and Soren. They walk her home, she invites them in for a drink and before she knows it, she's getting spitroasted.

I'm very interested to see where this story goes and lowkey holding out for some MM action between these two MMC hotties because the vibes were vibing.

good start

Short preview and as expected doesn’t really offer more than a temptation for the next book. Characters are Younger than I like but actually lads felt a bit more mature. Our girl came over as a bit of immature as a psychologist who thought her boyfriend was cheating on her and then went all stalker and screaming Minnie. Picks up when she meets the lad so I’ll definitely get next book.

If only...

Harlow like most women is just waiting for the tide to turn. When it does, it sweeps her away so fast she won't notice she's gone afloat. The bad luck anchor holding her down is no where to be found. When she comes up for air, you know when reality sets in that things are looking up, she has no idea what the universe has set in motion. I can't wait to find out with her!

Seriously hot Novella. Harlow has just come out of a four year relationship and her friend takes her out in order to cheer her up, they end up in a club where she catches the attention of Soren and Ash, two delicious hockey players who give her a night to remember. Kyle? Kyle who? I know it’s a novella but wanted it to go on longer I was so into it, can’t wait for the next book to see what happens when they meet again and if there’s more to Soren and Ash’s friendship. Great read, great characters and so hot 🥵 it’s definitely whetted my appetite. Read this arc in exchange for a honest review.

I honestly believe a cliffhanger novella is the best way to be introduced to a series, it gets me hooked on the characters, the dynamics and the storyline. I can’t wait to see how this plays out for Harlow, Ash, and Soren.

Wow! This novella length book was soo good. It literally broke my heart that Harlow had to go through that awful break up. Then she meets Ash and Soren at a club and they have a one night stand that is so freaking HOT! That cliffhanger has me on edge waiting to read the next book.

Holy Hotness!!
If this is the Novella, I can't wait for the rest of the series!! This definitely left somewhat of a cliffhanger, but I am anxious to see how the relationships play out. You don't want to miss the sexy, steamy chemistry between Harlow, Ash and Soren. Even if you are not into ménage relationship stories, you should read this series. Charlotte Byrd will not disappoint you!!

Well it is steaming, juicy action with Harlow,Ash, and Soren. Harlow lets off some steam by going to the club, after an horrible relationship gone bad. Ash and Soren aren’t having a good day either, until they meet an attractive, sexy, beautiful woman in the club. With what ends up being a great night for all three.
