Thank you to ARC team for allowing me to read this adorable marriage-of-convenience romance. It was such a sweet book! As with all of her novels I’ve read, Elise Kennedy does a great job of balancing her plot with her smut. I loved following the FMC, Lily’s, transformation during the story.

I wish I had more of a connection with the MMC the way I did with Lily but how much can any writer really fit in one book?! 😆 I would recommend this for anyone looking for a quick, feel good romance. A solid 4 stars! ⭐️

This is Elise Kennedy’s third interconnected standalone in her Fairwick Falls small-town, romcom series and dare I say, my favorite!

🪻Marriage of convenience
🌷Feisty, creative, commitment-phobe FMC
🌻 6’5” bank president MMC
💐 Sweet but spicy 🥵🥵🥵
🐮 Animal love 🥹

This was SO fun! I flew through it laughing, smiling, squealing. I LOVE a bold and confident FMC and Nash is a top tier book boyfriend. Elise writes the perfect combo of spicy and sweet.

Highly recommend this entire series for contemporary romance fans!

This one wasn’t my favorite, but it still had plenty of adorable moments and there was some spice as well.

All of the “fighting our feelings for each other” moments got to be more than a little repetitive, and I found myself skimming those scenes.

Thank you so much to @smalltown.romance for the eARC copy of this book! 🫶🏼

Lily has moved home to Fairwick Falls to help run her family’s floral shop, Bloom, after the passing of her father. Lily has never been one to settle for anything “small” and doesn’t commit to relationships. Lily ends up running into Nash, her sister’s childhood best friend growing up while at the floral shop. Lily ends up getting hurt and Nash takes Lily into his home to care for her since her apartment isn’t the safest for her to navigate with her injury. Nash is an upstanding citizen of Fairwick Falls and has ties to the local bank where he works. Nash takes pride in his work and is loyal to his small town roots. The bank where Nash works has an old bylaw that requires for him to be married in order to become the president at the bank. Nash and Lily make a deal that they will get married so Nash can get around the bylaw and Lily needs health insurance to take care of her injury. Little do they know that this marriage of convenience might turn into something even more.

I loved this spicy, steamy, flirty, and sweet romance story! Lily is one of my favorite FMC’s because of how funny, independent, care free, bold, and witty she is. Nash was soo sweet and the moments where he was taking care of her had me all in my feels. Don’t let the cute illustrated cover fool you because this one was spicyyy with quite a bit of open door romance scenes!

I had the pleasure of reading this eARC and I really enjoyed it! This is actually the third book in the Fairwick Falls series (which I regretfully haven’t read) but it can be read as a standalone.

This book follows Lily, the youngest of the Parker sisters. She hates commitment and a marriage is the last thing she could have envisioned for herself. But then enters Nash, who she has known since she was a kid and has had a secret crush on for years. After an accident leaves her injured and unable to climb the stairs to her apartment, she is forced to move in with him.

I loved the banter between these two. They are complete opposites, so you can imagine how much they butt heads at times. Lily is a very feisty FMC and she’s not afraid to tell it like it is. Nash is definitely a more reserved MMC and tends to follow the rules.

Overall, this was such a cute story and I will definitely be reading the first two books to learn more about the other sisters! I’m such a sucker for series with 3 sisters since I come from a family of 3 girls myself ☺️

Thank you so much Elise Kennedy for the opportunity to read this ARC! 💕

If you love a story with great plot, heart warming romance and delicious spice, look no further. Author Elise Kennedy has done it again!! What a fun take on a marriage of convenience between life long friends who know they shouldn't crave each other, but just can't resist!

The Fairwick Falls series follow the Parker siblings as they pull together after the death of their father, and continue on his legacy at their revitalised family flower shop 'Bloom'. Books 1 and 2 followed sisters Rose and Violet, and this time we got to see free spirited Lily Parker fall in love 💕

Nash is an absolute dream of a man & Lily's vivacious spirit and hilarious banter really kept him on his toes. When they realise that each of their problems could be solved by getting married, they jump in head first and the tension is 🔥

I'm a huge fan of the Author's work and as much as you could read this book as a stand alone, I highly encourage you to read the full series in order. I've been lucky enough to receive ARCs of all three books & have been reading through the Author's back list too.

This is easily one of my favourite series across 2023/2024 and I can't wait to read the surprise addition of book 4 coming in 2025!!

Quick Breakdown

Small town romance
Marriage of convenience
Sibling’s best friend
Age gap - 7 years
She falls first. He falls harder
Mutual pining
He takes care of her
STERN BRUNCH DADDY
“That’s my wife.”
“Beg for it.”
No 3rd act breakup
Dual POV
Open Door - High, explicit detail

Hot damn, I loved this. LOVED!

Conveniently in Bloom sucked me in with its (made for me combo of tropes) sibling’s best friend x marriage of convenience trope combo, but adding in that unexpected HOT AF spice is what really did me in 🫠🫠 It hit all my swoon & spice sweet spots & made me happy.

This was my first book my Elise Kennedy & I could not be more impressed. The writing was great mix of low angst & depth with smart banter & humor. The romance felt made for me. The slow burn pacing, mutual pining & the lack of a third act break up really made this marriage of convenience feel more realistic for me.

Nash Donnelly. This man is the ULTIMATE stern brunch daddy. He’s the dependable town prince - happy to serve his community & following in his dad’s footsteps. He shows his love in countless grand gestures (baby goats!). But, HOLY FLUFF - he’s a different man behind closed doors. And let me tell you, the dirty mouth on him is absolute PERFECTION.

Just writing this review has me dying for a reread. I cannot wait to go back & read the previous two books.

“You are my own wildflower. Rugged, raw and bright, and the most gorgeous thing nature has made.”

Blurb:
Lily Parker hates commitment. She’s already planned to leave Fairwick Falls after being there for 11 months...until a rogue patch of ice lands her in mandated physical therapy. The problem? Unable to climb the stairs to her apartment, she moves in with the one person who has a first-floor bedroom and Nash Donnelly, her childhood-turned-teenage-turned-adult crush. Nash Donnelly needs a wife. His money-grabbing brother wants to oust him as bank president based on an arcane 200 year old bylaw that states he must be married. Who better to be a wife-of-convenience than the woman who moved in with him...and whose lips he’s dreamed of for months. They propose a simple health insurance for marriage until the bylaws can be changed. Then they can happily go their separate ways, no commitment necessary....right?

Conveniently in Bloom has:
🌼 Marriage of convenience
🐐 Small town romance
🍑 Forced proximity
🎨 Childhood friends to lovers
💛 Witty banter

This story was a sweet romance that had a great plot and spice. I really liked the tension and banter between Nash and Lily. You could feel the chemistry between them from the beginning. The side characters added even more humor and charm to the story.

This is the third book in The Fairwick Falls series, but it can be read as a standalone. It publishes 2/13 💖

This is the first book I’ve picked up from Elise and I’m keen to continue seeing her grow as an author. This book is your typical rom-com but with a pinch more smut. The storyline was predictable but I still enjoyed it anyways because of how quick and easy it was to read. Our FMC, Lily, was funny and the mutual pining between her and Nash made for a slow burn filled with tension. While this is third in the series, it was not overwhelming to be introduced into the world and I managed to figure out who’s who really quickly (so you can read this as a standalone)

Pick this book up if you love the following tropes:
- Small Town Romance
- Childhood friends to lovers
- Age Gap (7 years)
- Forced Proximity
- Marriage of Convenience
- Mutual Pining

Thank you Elise for providing me an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I fell in love with this book!! Lily and Nash are positively adorable together!! This book follows Lily's story and how hard it is for her not to run from certain aspects of her life. Nash is a do-gooder that can't do anything halfway and thank goodness for that since that's what Lily needs.

"The world saw her brash personality, her blunt humor, and thought she didn't need that gentleness. But she craved it. She'd rarely experienced, and he was her sole supplier."

"He had a feeling Lily Parker would be a forever kind of love if he let himself fall"

I love the way they treat each other. The way they know what the other needs before they know it themselves. Their love story is really one of a kind. Fighting for what they need in each other is the best saving grace for them.

This was my first book of this authors and I absolutely loved it! I loved her writing- the banter and humor was amazing! As well as the spice (was not expecting that, definitely not mad 🤪) I enjoyed that while it was spicy, there was still a very good plot! The main characters, Lily and Nash, were perfect and I loved the chemistry between them from the very beginning. I loved the side characters and the community as well.

Overall, I really enjoyed this. I loved the sweetness of Nash and all of this things he did to show his love to Lily. He really cared about his community and making sure he did right by them which I enjoyed as well! And the mouth on him 🤭 he was just perfection!

Elise has once again knocked it out of the park! Lily is the youngest of our trio of sisters and her childhood crush needs a wife, and she just happens to be single! Nash needs to be married to remain the head of his family’s bank, and his slimy brother just showed up in town ready to take over. Enter the marriage of convenience.

I absolutely love Fairwick Falls and the characters that have been created here. Lily is scared of commitment and Nash is one massive golden retriever of a man. Lots of great humor, me crying multiple times, and looking so forward to the future! And also some great 🌶️ spicy scenes!

I’m absolutely obsessed with Elise’s books. Every single one that I read becomes my new favorite book and this one was no different. I thought rose’s story was the greatest. And then somehow violets story was the best. And now lilys was wonderful?? I don’t know how she does it.

God, I’m such a ho for marriage of convenience and this one didn’t disappoint. Sturdy wonderful man. Flighty lady. *chefs kiss* I don’t want to give too much away, but the ending had me in sad then happy tears. Ugh gonna start the whole series over now.

I love a good marriage of convenience trope, so CONVENIENTLY IN BLOOM hit the spot for me. It's a small town romance centered around a flower shop, a billionaire, and tons of mutual pining.

Lily is not one to be tied down. Even though she has a candle burning for her childhood crush, Nash, there is nothing she wants more than to go back to NYC to her old life. Nash is a "family man" that needs to get married to save his family bank. There is no other place he wants to be other than Fairwick Falls, so Lily can't be an option, right?

I loved these two together. Lily is sassy and says what she means. She puts up emotional walls, but Nash sees straight through her defenses. Nash is just a good man down to his core and shows his love in so many sweet ways. I mean, the baby goats!!! 😭 😭

Watching these two fall in love was a delight and super enjoyable. The steam was spot on. This is the third book in the Love in Fairwick Falls series. I read the first, but haven't read the second and felt like this one could be read as a standalone. I'm super excited to see what @smalltown.romance writes next!

I was blessed to have been part of the ARC team! I did not read the first 2 books, however reading this not only gave me the urge to want to read the first 2, but also did not make me feel like I had to have read the others to understand what was happening in this one. A fun quick story that was refreshing to read about a green flag guy rather than the current rage of the "morally gray" men.

This book has tropes like forced proximity, opposites attracting, marriage of convenience, age gap (only by 7 years and doesn't really get mentioned a lot, so if age gap gives you the ick this isn't bad about it), and of course, a good slow burn!

4.5 Stars! ARC 💐

this was such a cute marriage of convenience! i loved the tension and that they’d kissed previously + the trope of sister’s childhood best friend i think it really added something to a trope i’m never 100% on!

to take away from the cute mentions…THE FUCKING SPICE???? so good! i loved the tension and the rope snapping constantly.

the only reserve i have is that i feel like some plots like with nash’s brother etc were semi rushed but it wasn’t a dealbreaker and i definitely think it was long enough i just wanted a bit more with the build up.

thank u to elise for giving me an eARC in exchange for an honest review!!

Conveniently In Bloom is a marriage of convenience, a small town romcom novel by Elise Kennedy.
The novel follows Lily, who hates commitment. She's already planned to leave Fairwick Falls after being there for 11 months. She ends up being injured after slipping on ice and she moves in with Nash, who lives on the first floor but is also her childhood crush. Nash needs a wife. He must act quickly before his money grabbing Brother tries to scheme a bank to sell the building to him. They propose a health insurance in exchange for a marriage of convenience until the bylaws can be changed. Afterwards they can go their separate ways but they soon realise how they feel about each other.
I absolutely loved this novel. Elise's writing is easy to follow and I loved the main character's and I kept rooting for them to get together. A brilliant novel that I highly recommend.
❤️ Thank you to the author, Elise Kennedy for my arc ebook copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

This book is a delight to read. It is funny, very entertaining and captivating. Lily and Nash are both head over heels for each other, but refuse to reveal their feelings.. Lily is afraid of love and commitment. She saw first hand what loving and losing her mother did to her father and the chaos it brought to their family. Years ago, she left town to avoid seeing Nash everywhere she went, knowing that he saw her only as a little sister, not an adult woman he could love. Lily returned to town after her father’s death to help her sisters with the flower shop, but seeing and being near to Nash has been torture. She is already making plans to leave again now that the year she promised her sisters is almost up. Despite the unforgettable kiss they shared months ago, Nash still has her firmly in the friend or little sister zone.

Nash has been in love with Lily for years. Unfortunately, her history of leaving town, avoiding relationships and serial dating means she is not the right one for him. Duty and family honour has bound him to the bank his family has run for generations. The town depends on him and the bank for their financial futures. Lily doesn’t plan to stay and he can’t leave, no matter how much his heart yearns for Lily. An accident and his conniving brother change everything for Lily and Nash. She is injured and needs health insurance and a place to stay that doesn’t include fights of stairs. He needs to be married in order to be in accordance to an old bylaw for the position of bank president. If he doesn’t marry, his smarmy brother can take over as president. His plan is sell the bank to a conglomerate which would be detrimental to the townspeople. Nash comes up with a marriage of convenience plan that will help both him and Lily. As his wife, Lily will have health insurance. As a married man, Nash can stay on as president of the bank. He tells Lily that their marriage only needs to last a few months during which he will get rid of the old bylaw. Deep down, Nash is hoping that somehow, someway their marriage of convenience will morph into a real one that will last a lifetime.

Lily agrees to the marriage of convenience with her own secret hopes safely hidden away. She and Nash begin a game of advance and retreat, both still hiding their feelings until they can’t any longer. Of course their families have their own feelings about their relationship. Their fierce chemistry is hard to miss, and her sisters have long known about Lily’s crush on Nash. They are more than happy to see their sister marry their longtime friend and all around nice guy Nash, especially because their wish for Lily to stay in town seems to be coming true. His family, however, are out to derail Lily and Nash’s relationship, by fair means or foul. This book has lots of snark, banter, and steamy interludes. It also has a few very entertaining twists and a wonderful conclusion.

If you love fun, flirty and twisty romance, then this book is perfect for you.

Review: Delightfully witty, this fake dating/marriage story stays true to the trope without becoming formulaic. The characters come to life and it’s not hard to imagine what Fairwick Falls and its inhabitants are like. The romantic angst is off the charts, making it hard to put down. And since it’s told in dual point of view, we’re treated to all of Lily and Nash’s disquietude as they navigate toward their eventual HEA.

Some charming surprises: 1. Golden Retriever/Good Guy Nash’s kinky Domineering side. 2. Baby goats in Hawaiian shirts. 3. Lily’s self awareness. 4. The set up for book four. Can’t wait to read it now. And while not a surprise, it was satisfying to read about brother Jeremy’s fall from grace. It’s always nice when the jerk gets his due.

I recommend this story, and while you can read it as a stand alone, I don’t recommend it. Reading books one and two first will make the experience far more enjoyable. And not for nothing, but can we talk about the adorable cover art? I didn’t know this author, and wouldn’t have given the series a chance without the sweet covers.

This book is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy! Love, love, love Nash & Lily!

Lily is so considerate and caring, she puts others first, so it was amazing to see Nash come and bust down those walls while showing her what she deserves from a man. Lily is extremely creative, she’s messy in all things, and has a fear of commitment due to some family happenings. She never lets anyone in, and is confident to do things on her own, but has always had a huge crush on Nash, but never felt she was right for him since they wanted different things in life. But oh what she wrong! She is extremely supportive of Nash and truly just wants him to be happy and know how loved he is. She can take charge and know what she wants, but is sometimes too afraid to take it.

Nash is the golden boy of the town, and has always done his best to do what is in the best interest of the town, even if that means sacrifice his own happiness. Lily really helps him put into perspective the most important things in life. Nash is fiercely loyal, extremely protective and caring especially towards Lily. The way he looks out for her, and takes care of while she is injured is so swoon worthy, plus it doesn’t hurt that he has a filthy mouth and dominant alpha side where it counts.

The chemistry between these two was absolutely undeniable from their very first encounter! I love when there is an unrequited love element to the marriage of convenience trope and this one really hit the mark! I loved that they both came into the marriage with their own baggage that they worked through together, it was such a realistic obstacle they overcame with the encouragement from one another. I loved that they were total opposites who compliment each other so well, and are willing to fight for one another.

Thank you so so much for the ARC! After finishing this one, I went back and devoured the first two in the Fairwick Falls series; Nash and Lily still take the cake for me! If you’re looking for a swoon worthy, alpha MMC and feisty FMC then look no further than Nash & Lily. If the banter doesn’t do it for you, then the spice most definitely will! This is a perfect, “it’s always been you”, marriage of convenience, touch of age gap, with a wonderful happily ever after!

"He didn’t have to love her; she’d love him enough for the both of them."

Summary
Lily only agreed to stay in her hometown until the flower shop she runs with her sisters was well-situated. But, an unexpected fall has her needing physical therapy, unable to walk, and without health insurance. Nash is next in line to be the president of his family's bank, but the bylaws state he must be married. So when he propositions Lily to marry him for appearances, ensuring she can use his health insurance to get the care she needs, she has no choice but to say yes to her childhood-turned-adult crush.

Why did I pick up this book?
I have been following Elise Kennedy on Instagram for a while and loved the first two books in this series about three sisters who own a flower shop. I was so happy she once again sent me an advanced copy in exchange for a review! Looking forward to the next book from Fairwick Falls!

What did I enjoy about it?
I rarely read marriage of convenience romances, so this was a welcome break from the tropes I normally read, though it felt very similar to fake dating, which was the premise of book #2 of the series. I loved how much these characters already cared for each other, and how unwaveringly supportive they were of each others' careers and aspirations. As someone who has read the other two books in the series, I also enjoyed being reacquainted with the characters of the tiny town, as well as Lily's sisters and their partners and how they all support each other and the family business. Last, as per usual, the spice was on-point - something I've come to rely on in Kennedy's writing.

What did I not enjoy about it?
There was nothing major preventing me from giving 5 stars, it just lacked the wow factor for me. The things they loved about each other and restated in their internal monologues got very repetitive around halfway through. So did them calling each other husband and wife, which I get was a kink or whatever, but it just got under my skin. Last, someone mentioned that Lily loved Nash since they were young at their wedding and he had no reaction to it? That was confusing.

***ARC REVIEW***

Ratings:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️

Tropes:
-Small town romance
-Marriage of convenience
-Childhood friends to lovers
-Forced proximity
-Opposites attract
-Caretaking
-Plus-size rep
-Strong, fiery FMC/cinnamon roll MMC
-Lots of witty banter and flirting

Blurb:
Lily and her two sisters, Violet and Rose, own and operate a flower shop, Bloom, in Fairwick Falls. Lily moved from NYC to her hometown after her father passed away to deal with his matters with her sisters, one being the flower shop. Lily has now lived in her hometown for 11 mo and she is itching to move back to NYC, and she plans to do so in a few months. However, a rogue piece of ice takes her out and she dislocates her knee and is stuck indefinitely in Fairwick Falls. Nash, Lily’s childhood friend, was there when it happened and immediately tended to her and took it upon himself to move her into his home indefinitely so she is safe, taken care of, and doesn’t have to climb stairs to get into her apartment. Nis the CEO of the Fairwick Falls bank left to him by his father. However, there is a bylaw that whoever is the CEO of the bank needs to have a wife. So, while Lily needs health insurance now (which the bank provides) to cover everything, and Nash needs a wife, they agree that getting married is the best route to go and they will divorce in three months so Lily can go back to NYC and he can keep the bank.

Thoughts:
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK. When I think the Fairwick Falls book can’t get any better, they do. I absolutely love childhood friends to lovers so I knew I would likely love this book. Nash and Lily are just perfect together, yet so different from one another. Lily is vivacious, loud, fiery, outspoken, spontaneous, doesn’t like commitment or feelings, and says off the wall stuff that cracks people up. She also LOVES animals. Nash is a cinnamon roll MMC who is loyal, kind, friendly, not afraid of commitment, always does the right thing and never makes mistakes, compassionate, and secretly an alpha in the bedroom. Their chemistry is explosive and the banter and flirting just make their chemistry that much more explosive and hot.

This is book 3 in the Fairwick Falls series and can be read as a standalone.

Meet Lily Parker: all around free spirit and creative, never likes to stay in one place for too long, and is more of a no strings attached type of gal when it comes to any kind of commitment.

Meet Nash Donnelly: president of the Fairwick County Community Bank that has been in his family for the past 200 years,  clean cut guy raised with a "no room for mistakes, people expect more from me" mentality, and loves and appreciates their small hometown of Fairwick Falls.

Lily and Nash both find themselves in predicaments where each can benefit from a marriage of convenience. Lily gets the health insurance she desperately needs for her physical therapy and Nash gets to keep his position at the bank after fulfilling century old bylaws stating the president needs to be married.

Will they go their separate ways once they've each gotten what they need? Or will spending this amount of time together make them realize they were destined to be from the start?

Conveniently in Bloom is a true rom-com with the perfect amount of smut. I could tell from the first page alone that I was going to love it based off of Elise's writing. I laughed so much while reading it and got in my ooey-gooey feels for the MCs mutual pining.

The mouth on Nash had me BLUSHING, and the banter between him and Lily (ESP. her made up names for him) was *chef's kiss*. I couldn't get enough of this book! I immediately added the first two books of this series to my TBR. 🥰

Read if you love:
💐 Small town romance
💐 Marriage of convenience
💐 Age gap (7 years)
💐 Opposites attract
💐 Slow burn

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Full disclosure: I was going THROUGH IT when I read this book and whenever I got to pick it up throughout the day, it genuinely made me feel better. ❤️ Thank you, @smalltown.romance, for brightening up my days and for giving me an opportunity to read this arc!

My ARC review ~

📕 ~ Conveniently in Bloom
✍🏻 ~ Elise Kennedy
⭐ ~ 4.5/5
🌶️ ~ 3/5

✨ I received an ARC, and anything shared in this review is solely my opinion! ✨

Conveniently in Bloom is the third book in the Fairwick Falls series. Though it can be read as a standalone book, I really enjoyed the second one about Violet and Jack and was really looking forward to seeing where the story was heading for Lily and Nash.

I was so excited to see where Elise Kennedy was going to go moving forward with Lily and Nash's relationship in their own book. At the end of book two, it was teased that something was bound to happen between these two individuals. Moreover, I can wholeheartedly say that Elise's writing and plot grab your attention from the first page until the last. She has a way with words that makes the reader feel as though they are part of her story, and you see all the moments between Nash and Lily unfold before your eyes.

The angst and tension between these two characters is palpable and can be felt throughout Elise's writing. I enjoyed reading the POVs of both Nash and Lily, as you are getting to know what feelings they have for each other and what they are thinking about each other! The plot of the story was getting better and better with each passing chapter. There were times I had to keep on reading to see what was going to happen next, as it was getting juicy.

All in all, Elise Kennedy has done a fantastic job in Book 3 when it came to writing Nash and Lily's love story! I'm so excited to see what she has in store for her future books.

I'd like to thank Elise Kennedy for the opportunity to read book 3 in her Fairwick Fall series! It means a lot to me! 💗

Conveniently in Bloom by Elise Kennedy is the third book in the Love with Fairwick Falls series. Nash is the most eligible bachelor in the city, Lily’s older sister’s BFF, and in need of a wife for an archaic rule stating that he can no longer run the family bank without a wife.
Nash doesn’t want to be just one of her “fuckboys” and doesn’t do flings. Lily Parker is flighty and does not do commitments. She has had a crush on Nash forever but knows her time is limited until her return to NY.

This is my first ARC review and I was so excited. I love a good marriage of convenience trope with an HEA. Other tropes were age gap, friends to lovers, small town, forced proximity, one bed and mutual pining.

The book starts off with a kiss after Nash is caught in the rain and then he says, “You’re like a sister to me…” literally the worst. I could have knocked him upside his head for that one. Then months later after he lets her orgasm he says “That was a mistake…” Seriously, I'm pissed for Lily. Throughout the book Nash both makes me swoon like when his whole house only has vegan food for her but also frustrates me when he continuously needs to literally run away from his feelings on his treadmill. Then he goes and rescues a bunch of goats and I melt all over again.

I thoroughly enjoyed Lily’s character, she was sassy and had a pet possum. She made me laugh when she would remember to mentally save images of Nash in her “Spank bank”. Although I love it when an MMC gives the FMC a nickname, Lilypad, Lily was a little more creative in the names she called Nash, “Nashy Judd”, “Nanny McNash", “Mary-Kate and Nashley Olsen”.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and it made me want to read the first two in the series. Thanks so much for letting me enjoy this book and I can't wait to dig more into Fairwick Falls.

P.S. Also I will be using the term douche canoe at some point!

This book is a sloooooooow burn but when it finally burned, it was a flaming hot fire.

Lily has always had a secret crush on our golden boy, Nash. And this book hooked me from the beginning with a rain soaked flashback. We jump ahead to find that Lily really should've listened to her big sister about registering for insurance and Nash should've been keeping an eye on his snake of a brother instead of our resident blonde beauty. The two agree that a marriage of convenience would solve both their problems, but can they keep it strictly business or will there finally admit their feelings for each other.

Nash (MMC): Town golden boy, runs the bank that has been in his family for generations, generous heart who loves his town and cares about the people who live there, under pressure to marry due to archaic bank rule, spends many late nights working out (how else can he deal with his feelings for his new roommate, err, wife?) and has secretly been pining for Lily.

Lily (FMC): youngest sister, artist and resident florist, lives in bold beautiful colors, Yogi, vegan, has a soft spot for animals (especially possums named Peaches), fears commitment, and secretly has been pining for Nash since 12 (or 13, depending on who you ask).

Rating: 🌼🌻🌼🌻. 🪷(4.5⭐️)
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶 (dirty talk, praise, self pleasure, 🐫 to completion, face sitting, 🍑 play, exhibition, spanking)
T/W: Death of a parent due to heart attack (off the page), addiction (off the page), and cancer (off the page). Knee injury.

This book is filled with great plot, swoony romance, delicious spice, witty banter, and a beautiful love story. Nash helped Lily plant her roots and find the safety she craved.
“You are safe here. You can rest, Lily. I will always catch you.”
Lily helped Nash paint his colorless world and embrace the adventure.
“You brought color into a life I hadn’t even realized was black and white....That’s what you do to me. You make my life better by being you."
My only critique is that I wish we got to the swoony romance sooner. There were times I just wanted to grab Nash and shake him. I hated waiting until about the last 30% to see the real romance unfold. Maybe this is just a reviewer issue and slow-burns just aren't my speed? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I highly recommend this low-angst, swoon-worthy, marriage of convenience read. I cannot wait for the surprise book 4 (Elise, how can you leave us with a puzzle of information?) and revisit my favorite store, Bloom, and be back in Fairwick Falls.

I received a free copy and wanted to leave an honest review.
