As far as job hazards go, Douglass Fraser didn't think crash-landing on an alien planet and spending her recuperation being erotically pleasured by three gorgeous men was in the United Planetary Parcel Service's courier handbook. There certainly wasn't a section on what to do when a very sexy king wants you to have his baby and save his world.
Marcus Blood Axe isn't only a descendant of ancient Viking space travelers, he's also a ruler dealing with a shortage of fertile women and no heir. Surely the gods are on his side when Douglass drops out of the sky and into his bed, giving him a last chance to stop his people's death spiral into extinction.
Despite the exquisite pleasures to be found in the king's arms, Douglass wants more from Marcus than to be his broodmare. When another woman claims to be pregnant with Marcus' child, it's past time to get back home. Now the war Marcus wages is one of sensual passion designed to convince his Earth woman that she's worth everything to him…even if it means giving up what he cherishes most.

Menage scenes don't bother me at all. What bothered me was that 1: they played with her while she was unconscious and recovering from her injuries. Creepy and not cool. 2: As a mother, if I was stranded somewhere apart from my kid-I for darn sure wouldnt' be having all that sex. I'd be desperately trying to get back to my kid. She doesn't even tell the hero that she has a son until almost through the whole book. Then it's like "oh you have a son, we should do more to get back home to him" after a couple of months of just waiting for someone to come look for her.
I gave this book a 3 stars because I did like it. It was almost too hot for me if you can believe that. There was a lot of sex going on in this book. The heroine had 3 smoking hot men to keep her aroused and to pleasure her in any way except they could not mate with her. They did this so that she would be ready at all times when the King came to her bed. The King needed an heir and wanted to plant his seed as often as possible, hahahahaha. Needless to say this story was a very wet one, LMAO! I don't want to go into the story much more that. Just a warning for those who do not like the heroine being with more than the hero. This book was extremely smutty so if your in the mood for smut and you want a quick read I'd say give this book a try. It's a futuristic erotic romance and is only 100 pages. It ended HEA too.

This was a pretty good book it was hot and had a lot of hot sex scenes in it. Douglass Fraser didn't think crash-landing on an alien planet and spending her recuperation being erotically pleasured by three gorgeous men was in the United Planetary Parcel Service's courier handbook. When she cash lands on Valhalla she is saved by the King Marcus. The king of the planet is Marcus he wants Douglass if he can get her pregnant he will make her his queen. He assigns three men to be her personal servants and protectors. One of their jobs to is provide sexual pleasure to Douglass and keep her body in a state of arousal for the king. Their are problem's with the woman of the planet and he needs to produce and heir. Turns out their soil is contaminated and it causing health problems as well as fertility. A problem develops when a local girl claims to be pregnant with the king's child and causes Douglass to be kept away from the king. This book was hot although I didn't like them giving her drugs. This was the first book in a new series to me and I have read this author before she writes some very hot sex scenes. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
😂 When is the first spaceship 🚀 heading for the planet 🌎 Valhalla? 🙋🏼Sign me up, I’m coming, (in more ways than one). Holy moly, these guys are just sex on a stick. Your every desire, they will accommodate you 😍 Storyline, yeh there’s one there somewhere, but who cares when you have 4 Adonis fawning over you 😘
I enjoy a little science fiction romance on occasion and received a free copy of this book excited to try it. Despite my honesty low expectations I was disappointed. Suspending belief is a normal part of sci-fi romance novels and I was willing to do that here, but some of this story was so outrageous I found myself ragey and hating it all;
- The main character comes back to awareness 28 days after her crash and everyone admits she has effectively been molested in her weakened state without consent. No one, not even the main character seems bothered that they assaulted her in her sleep. WTF.
- Then before she meets the King again they effectively admit to drugging her to make her more 'agreeable' to the rituals and attentions of the planet which involve public sex. So you weren't into sex while injured when you landed so we drugged you, cool?
- The main character doesn't seem phased by this at all, voluntarily swollows more unknown drugs and doesn't seem at all bothered about her child back on earth. She mentions him occasionally but is mostly so caught up in pleasure that she's fine. Everything is fine.
WHAT THE HELL? I think I'm pretty open minded with my literature but that is not OK. Hard pass.
Read this in the anthology Seven Sinful Stories: Second Collection. Have read quite a few Kate Pearce stories and her erotica is a good combo of lustful hotness and caring respectfulness, IMO. No matter how far out her fantasy tales go, I am never disappointed. I did wonder where a book titled Planet Mail would take me LOL It was a very satisfying intergalactic trip ;) I look forward to continuing this fantastical journey of the Viking space king, Marcus, and his feisty UPPS intergalactic parcel post space-delivery ship captain, the very impressive, Douglass Fraser. And what happens with the ever hot, ever-ready, and loyal warrior attendants Sven, Harlan, and Bron. Very satisfying, in deed.
Can I be real? That was pretty silly. This is definitely one you don’t want to take too seriously. It was certainly a fun way to spend some time. There were definitely some moments of incredibly dubious consent that were just brushed off so if that’s a trigger for you, I would not recommend this.
The heroine's sex acts with other men (with the hero's consent) just killed this book for me. I can't give this book a two star since it means "it was okay" when it wasn't. The one star is based on the fact that I don't like books with menage scenes or a hero watching the heroine with someone else. For other who don't mind that in their stories you may enjoy this book. I purchased this from the EC site when they were having their sale and nothing in their description indicated the above.
This book stunk! It was practically non-stop sex, with the heroine having relations with practically everyone but the hero, with his permission, and she had no problem with it! She also was totally not concerned about her child not being with her after she was mated to the hero! NO decent mother I know would do that! Have deleted the book from my Kindle Library and will be abandoning the series!
Alrighty!! I am still panting....WOW! Well, I feel the need to comment on our Douglass. She has internal dialogue through out the entire book about her son and her family back on Earth. She also informs her captors that she has a family and that she has every intention to return to Earth ASAP. She tells us that she worries that telling him of her son would only make him want to keep her more, proof that she can bear children and all. She also lets us know that her son is well loved and cared for, even going so far as to say that he won't have time to miss her is he so happy! I don't feel like she is a bad mother for enjoying her time there, she did everything that she could and always asked what was going on with the search for the ships black box, and inquiring about the signals going to Earth. She wanted to go home, never made a secret about the fact that she intended to get there! Realistically, would we have enjoyed the story if she would have been miserable the entire time? I don't think so!!!

The usual thing of them both not wanting to really admit to each other how they feel even if it means they lose each other
The end felt very rushed to me, even with an epilogue
It was enjoyable enough for a kindle freebie, however, I wont be getting the next in the series, and I have seen the whole "alien civilisation needs woman" done before and much better.
I just discovered this new erotica read because of the free promotion that I got in the mail. And I say, hey why not check it out and I totally did so I ended up reading it in one day and here's my thoughts about it. If you like... ⚜️Science Fiction ⚜️Alien Romance ⚜️Ménage Coupling ⚜️Sexual Tension ⚜️Stranded in a new world ⚜️Viking vibe Then you have picked up the right book, congratulations! I know not all readers loved erotica but I like to explore genre in my TBR and I am definitely learning something new🤣
Anyway, my thoughts on this book even though it is outdated: 📌Very refreshing start to a new series. We were thrust into a situation that might happen if we are able to explore the space and have an intergalactic mail service. And yes, i got the vibe of United States Postal Service vibe when I was reading this book, not gonna lie😂. The world building is similar to ours with some alteration like the color of the planet. The species was not that indifference from humans as if the author did not focus on that much, less likely to have any complicated world building in her story. 📌The spiciness to this novel is 🌶🌶🌶🌶/5. I know it's high but somehow, it's not that much. I know this is an erotica book but I just don't feel like it. I was interested in the character development as well as the plot in which did the MCs will be having their happy ending or not. There are steamy scenes, i feel like every page that I turned had them, but not all of them. The author also indicated the complexity of the ideologies that we know by heart in out reality so it was a good thing to include those as if the readers might not know about. I loved that the author was making the male characters were respecting woman and it shows that we need more of that in real life. Though, I am concerned when there was a scene where the male was harassing the female lead when she's asleep. Talking about consensual sex and not in the creepy way, yikes! 📌Personal rating would be ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. It is not an instant love or slow burn. It was an enjoyable read which I skimmed through some of the scenes. I read this book in eBook format so I most likely to skim through the pages because my eyes burned when I was staring too long into the screen. But this book is enjoyable and I liked it. I would recommend if you want a cut story for I did cry a little bit at some of the scenes but it is listed as an erotica so not many people will be reading it😅
Is this a multipart story? Yes Does it end in a cliffhanger? No Story Type and Subtypes: Alien / Erotica Instalove? Yup
2.75 Stars for me!

Was there so much sex or unrealistic sex that you rolled your eyes and/or skipped forward? Yes - 50 million orgasms in a 3 hour story... 😏
The back story... The h crash lands on the H's planet and he takes a liking to her. Since he is the King, he assigns a few of his royal servants to continuously pleasure her.
Romance or Gist: straight sex with a light attempt to build a lasting relationship.
The drama explosion... A woman comes forward and states that she is carrying the Kings baby. Did it feel Real, OK or contrived? Meh Was it OTT? Yes Separation involved? Slight Was it resolved properly or rushed? Ok
Final Notes... It got a bit frustrating listening to the repetitive negative thoughts and childish antics of the H topped off by the inability to give relevant information from the h to the H. The first 75% was a lot of fun though.
So, I totally get that this isn't a book that is supposed to be taken very seriously, but I still have some things that bugged me and almost made me stop reading even though it's really short. I am totally fine with a reverse harem or "why choose" theme, but...
It starts off with a super questionable consent issue that is never mentioned again. She crashes, is saved, is given an aphrodisiac specifically to "relax her" so she doesn't freak out and wakes up to a...five-some already happening? Very questionable and then it's never brought up again that this basically starts with non-con.
Why did the writer even make Douglass a mother? She is pretty much immediately okay with being separated from her kid, unable to get back, only casually thinks about him but never seems very upset, and then it's never really touched on again. Even in the end, he is literally just mentioned being held on someone's shoulders but that is literally it. It seems kind of useless. She is more upset about Marcus taking this other girl as a wife than never seeing her own kid again.
Knowing that Marcus thinks he's infertile and dooming his entire planet, Douglass has no plans to tell him that he actually did get her pregnant? Like literally she is going to leave without telling him that he actually is a father because he is respecting her wishes to leave and not stopping her. Girl....come on.
I wish Douglass was done better. She is supposed to be Miss Independent and feisty and she immediately folds the second a guy touches her. Can't get to her kid? Might as well enjoy the men.... Stuck here for who knows how long? Well as long as there are a bunch of hot guys.... Drama with a new girl? As long as there's still a guy to play with. The only thing that gets her off of her bed is the idea that Marcus might wife Lillian and not her.
So basically...not a book I would recommend.

Start by suspending disbelief, and this one will do pretty much what it says on the can.
It has as much plot holding it together as an exotic dancer's coverage at the end of their routine, which is to say, not much. It also has a few rather problematic themes if you really go into it such as dub-con convalescent sex, unconsenting exhibitionism, some surprise anal. There's also an odd branching into light BDSM, but that's less problematic than it is plain weird.
Alas. It was good at helping me move out of my current reading slump and for that much I'm grateful. Just don't go in expecting too much. This one's more about the smut than about the story.
This is one of the hottest books I've ever read. I've read a lot of sex scenes, but {okay, how to say this... I'll just say it} the ones in this book aroused me. So yeah, 4 stars.
Keep in note that the king has bodyguards who he allows to pleasure the heroine, a girl from 25th-century Earth who crash lands on Planet Valhalla. Some reviewers were also offended by how the FMC was touched sexually when she was unconscious; this is not considered immoral by the culture, where women's sexual pleasure is a priority.
Is there a lot of romantic development? No. Could I suspend belief that the king and Douglass (odd name for a heroine) were in love? Yes.
Good storytelling to go with a lot of hot and sensual sex scenes. I enjoyed it throughout.
STORY BRIEF: Douglass is the captain and solo crew member of a small spaceship. She delivers packages among the planets, similar to UPS. Her spaceship malfunctions, and she lands on the planet Valhalla. The people are descendants of ancient Viking space travelers. Women don’t work, don’t have a voice in decisions, and are kept hidden away from society. Men outnumber women 50 to 1. There are fertility problems. The king of the planet is Marcus. He desires Douglass. If he can get her pregnant he will make her his queen. He assigns three men to be her personal servants and protectors. One of their jobs to is provide sexual pleasure to Douglass and keep her body in a state of arousal for the king. A problem develops when a local girl claims to be pregnant with the king’s child and causes Douglass to be kept away from the king.
REVIEWER’S OPINION: The story and characters are on the simple side, but the purpose of the book is to turn you on, and it does that well. It’s a short book. There is light bondage, sex toys and rear door activity.
DATA: Story length: 161 pages. Swearing language: strong. Sexual language: strong/erotic. Number of sex scenes: 12. Total number of sex scene pages: 45. Setting: 2406 planet Valhalla and San Francisco, California. Copyright: 2006. Genre: erotic science fiction romance.
OTHER BOOKS: For a list of my reviews of other Kate Pearce books, see my 4 star review of “Simply Sexual” posted 10/02/08.
I was taken back that all these men are performing a lot of sexual acts on Douglass without much clear consent at first (also, how do injuries to her ribs and wrist keep her unconscious for almost a month???) But I realized: It's really not a book meant to be taken too seriously. It's basically an excuse for an overworked woman to have a ton of sex. It's just a fantasy, this is not meant to be reflective of real life. So fine, I'll go with it and put my inner critic away. And I didn't mind it too much once I stopped asking questions/having problems with the plot. I liked a lot of the world building and sure, assign all the pleasure servants you like to one woman! I did get annoyed at the end though because both characters started acting a little ridiculous over the central plot issue and I didn't get what the big deal was. Honestly, this could have just been about sex and I would have been happier, lol. But overall, not the worst way I've ever spent my Saturday.
I’m giving this book the biggest side eye 😒, they came across an injured woman who’s not conscious and thought it was okay to have sex with her and Douglass was so blasé about being taken advantage of while unconscious .The fact that she had a son who only 5 waiting for her on earth and act like he was just an after though rubbed me the wrong way ,But what really rolled my eyes all the way in the back of my head is the fact that if Marcus was not willing to upset his whole kingdom and risk his position and choose to be with her she was not going to tell him about his baby knowing that he thought he was infertile. Thats probably what happen to her son father he didn’t want to be with her so she kept him away from him cause to her him not wanting to be with her is him not wanting to be in his son life also. What a Bi***

Get out your fan along with your phase generator because this baby is hot. Hot menage sex with all the men focused on the heroine. This is the first book I ever read by Kate Pearce and it sucked me in with both the story and the exciting sex scenes. This is not your mother's version of "You Got Mail." It's far, far better, with a strong sexy heroine and her brave new world. Totally worth your reading time!
What I liked about this book: it was free, it wasn’t too long and it fulfilled a requirement for a reading challenge. What I disliked about this book: everything else. About 95% of the book was filled with sex scenes. I love erotica, but this just wasn’t for me. I will probably never read anything from this author again.
A lucky and lonely single mother who works for an interplanetary postal system crash lands on a planet where men outnumber women to men by a ratio of 50:1. Each woman has a staff of men whose only job is to pleasure her sexually...alas, this magical place is fiction...
While silly and ridiculous, it was a sexy, guilty pleasure to read.
This is a porn, basically. As long as you keep that in mind, it's easy to disregard the silly things - a woman not being desperate to return to her 5 year old son, the whole sexually assault, etc. I liked it as soon as I realised that ;)
I have so many issues with this book. If a woman is unconscious, she can not give consent. This is dnf for me, 6 chapters in and she just beginning to think about her kid after 2 months.
