Rate this book
Have you ever wondered how to spiritually navigate your workplace as a Christian? Have you considered that you could grow in Christ through your job’s many challenges? Through examples from his own working life, such as facing peer pressure during strike action or experiencing job loss as a Christian, Andy Black illustrates seven themes that will inspire you to discover your unique, God-given identity. Together with reflective prayer points, the stories will help you to understand who you are and what you're supposed to be doing. You are called to reflect God's image and not be a copy of the world around you.

Andy tells his story of life in the NHS to life as business evangelist how God spoke to.him.as he worked and moved him.from one position to another and how over time.his whole focus was changed.

Well that is a very brief summary but there is so much more obviously and this is a life story that is well worth hearing a life transformed in order to help other lives be transformed. I hand a number of authors that are friends Andy is a friend who had becone a Author as in I've only him before he became a published writer. And his life has always been an example to others and it seems right that his story is told and so it isn't a surprise to read this and think wow this needs to be read by as many as possible. If you are mixing with others wether at work (the target audience) or mixing with others in another form the school gate for example this is going to be a great help and encouragement.

Life is a series of steps of levels we encounter and Andy explains how he had approached them learned and grown, with discouragement and encouragement sometimes together in other words just like each one of us. I really want to recommend this book to you and not just because he's a friend but because he's a friend of God's and for will help you to draw closer to God in both your personal life and working life which are so interwoven its hard to have one and not the other heavily linked up.

So in summary this is a great book and well worth while reading
