After learning the vampire king’s true intentions, Kira is shocked by even more truths brought to light.
This action-packed half of her story brings a lot of emotion as Kira faces long-repressed memories and incredibly difficult decisions as she moves forward.
I’m really conflicted about this installment, to be honest. In the broad sense, I liked the trajectory, all the twists and turns. That said, there were several events that hurt my heart to get us to the HEA. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a dark romance and I understand what that entails. I just… 🥺

So the the first book wasn't bad. Not by any means. It was kinda funny and had its moments, but I generally was in with this. Even though degradation is not my kink - I was cool with how it was written.
But this fucker... This fucker right here went ALL the way left. Like, so far left, I was like, WTF am I reading? This was another book that poor Mysti got roped into. I mean, if you gotta read bad shit - you might as well take your book bestie down the rabbit hole, too, right? If I never read or hear the word "Rutting" it will be too soon. BRUH!
My first complaint is that the time period was all over the place. They rode around in carriages, but there was a city with lights and a high-rise hotel with a top-floor penthouse. Make it make sense.
Honestly, everyone is talking about the NonCon scene at the end of the book, which was weird, but can we just talk about the ending in general? For example, are we discussing gift wrapping and calendars? Why are we worried about Victoria's suspenders?
So much of it was chaotic, and it felt like the author was just making sure she wrote down all her thoughts on things as they crossed her mind.
listen... the first book was decent. The second book was .. confusing.. but if you're a huge fan of butt play, bestiality, and degradation - you're gonna like this book. Read it for just that. Read it for the smut and nothing else. And for the love of all that is holy, please don't try to make sense of it... you'll give yourself a migraine... now lemme go find some aspirin...
If this line makes you as uncomfortable as it did me,i suggest you read the review before you read the book :
† Kira had tasted her sister’s juices on his cock before she’d so much as hugged her or shaken her hand †
No matter what you call it so things became unbearable from chapter 36 onwards, the MMC f*cks another women while FMC watches calling it an only option an archaic rule of submission (like what the actual f"***"") And get the the other woman who is in this scene is FMCs half sister and it's not over , get this : to show the MMC how supportive FMC is, the FMC offers to lick the 🍆 after the MMC has done the deed with the said mentioned half sister OW 🙃🙃🙃 no amount of smut or mind numbing twist could keep me from reading after that! And no amount of thoughtful intelligent plan can justify it! It's not even the OW part that irks me it's how the FMC is push over . There are many books with BDSM plots where FMC is submissive but not push over , they're not synonymous! And this FMC Kira who's supposed to be this all feisty lost princess lacks backbone horribly! As much as book 1 was good this was that bad sooo bad!!!

I could not go any further into this book. DNF at 56%. Can’t continue reading when he fucked a wolf. Not a werewolf, half human, mid shift, partly shifted… Just fucked her as a full on wolf.
Too bad I enjoyed the first book, but that, I can’t.

Listen, I liked the books but the end, with the on page, chapter long SA, I did not like that. I just didn’t think it was necessary to the story …. And the very end where he tells her to imagine he is the person who SA’d her? Idk the end just wasn’t very happy ever after to me.
Beasilaity =/= pet play. I shouldn't be surprised that he wanted to bang her in her wolf form, but I was. Also, it says no cheating, but there definitely is cheating if you consider someone having sex with someone else cheating. It could be argued that they agreed on it, but the second time wasn't discussed beforehand and boundaries were crossed. I enjoy dark content, but I like to be warned about what I'm getting into.
I enjoyed the story in the first one, but this fell off for me. It didn't seem like they were down to strategize about this attempted "rebellion" and the plan... was bad.
The end was too dark for me, not rating for that, just saying to warn other people if acting out that your partner is your rapist crosses a line. Especially when it's clear the character is affected by the assault.

I read the first book in this duet as an ARC and rated it four-stars. Obviously, I had to know how it ended, so I did purchase this e-book. This book is like your favorite candy: you know it's not nutritious for you, yet you can't stop eating it. I could not stop reading, even though, as this the final part of the duet, had not one, not two, but three extremely troubling things happen to both the FMC and MMC. It really left a bad taste in my mouth, so to speak. I have rarely seen what the FMC & MMC did- and that was their choice! I couldn't believe it! Yuck. Romances just don't, for the majority, go past that line- let alone do it TWICE!!! Even dark romances! And I've read some extremely dark romances. I don't have any trigger warnings. I just couldn't believe that Kira and Nathaniel didn't have a conversation where they could figure out a different plan instead of sticking to the one Nathaniel made when he was 19! That was about 11 years ago! Plans can change! But, then Kiera was acting like a complete petulant child throughout most of this sequel; which was highly unlike how she acted the in the first book.
The only other thing that bothered me was how fast Kira and Nathaniel fell in love. They went from "enemies" to being in love. It was fast. Now, I did feel like Nathaniel's love was gradual and made sense. However, Kira's did not. It felt like she fell in love just because Nathaniel was in love. I seriously don't think that would've happened unless Kira knew certain pieces of information sooner.
And, I'm not even going to touch on all the issues with this fantasy world. There are things that are explained and other things that aren't, which is frustrating. Then there is supposed to be magic, but is not really talked about (outside of witches) until Nathaniel wants to help Kira get hers. Wait, what? Kira has magic? How/when were we told about that? I think the author backed herself into a corner with all the problems that her MC's had to overcome, and couldn't think of anything else. And when Kira could access her magic it was This just wasn't for me. No thank you.
The 3 things that bothered me. PLEASE do NOT read further if you don't want major points in this plot completely spoiled. MAJOR SPOILERS: I wish I could rid my mind of these three things that happened to poor Kira and Nathaniel. I don't think these two deserved what was done to them.
Some very questionable things take place in this second installment of this duet (not that they didn't in the first...) but it was a wild ride none the less!
If you pay attention you know what's going to happen by the cliffhanger revelation of book 1, still I wasn't prepared for it and the romantic in me hoped that the problem would be able to be resolved in another way. check your trigger warnings, though the author does give plenty of warning and tells you where you can skip to giving a summary of the main plot points if you choose not to read that chapter.
My heart broke for Nathaniel and the sacrifices he was willing to make and then the horror that followed, Kira is an absolute bad ass, she's capable of saving her self though I wish she didn't have to, it was such a bitter sweet ending and I'm glad there is light at the end of that tunnel.
Wow! I thought the first book was dark and twisted. But this one takes the cake.
There are definitely more sweet and meaningful moments between Kira and Nathaniel. After she comes to terms with belonging to his father that is.
But along with that there are also some way more dark and traumatic events that occur. I’ve never met a trigger warning that was too much for me. But there were moments in this story that definitely hit the borderline of too much. They were so well written it felt like I was there and it was hard to digest. But it fit the storyline so well and made the plot line stronger.
Just don’t go into without being aware.
This does have a great conclusion and a solid HEA. I only wish I had more of their HEA because after the traumatic portions I wanted more of them settled and stable.
I received an ARC of this for free. I am voluntarily leaving this review.

Unfortunately, I had to DNF this book at 33% (117 pages). I was eager to continue the duology, but I found the excessive amount of sexual content distracting and ultimately made it difficult for me to enjoy the story. Additionally, I encountered several plot holes that detracted from the overall reading experience.
Literally no plot or development in the final book which could have been fantastic. I want to support all authors but if it’s literally pure smut with no plot of world development just write porn and market it that way so someone like me doesn’t have to read an entire book with no plot and a phoned in final chapter.
What a roller coaster ride of emotions and twists! This picks up where the first book left off and there were twists that were out of left field from what I was expecting. This book was definitely the darker of the two so definitely check the trigger warnings. The ending was not what you expected to happen but fitting with the themes of the book. I’m curious to see where the author takes us next!
“You are amazing. I love your mind… and I love all of you.”
4.5/5 ⭐ 3/3 🌶️
My. Heart.
I devoured this, just as I devoured Plug & Claim. I just love Nathaniel and Kira. The ending had so many plot twists I really didn't know how this was going to end.
This book was so good!! I’ve been emotionally invested in these characters since plug and claim and here I was heartbroken, suprised, shocked and then heart fixed again! It was such an emotional rollercoaster and just amazing!! 😻 THE SPICE WHEWIEEE 🥵🌶️ 5/5 it was soooo good like I actually had to close the book to calm down because dayummmm 🙈 and I loved the fairy tale Easter eggs 🪺🐺well done Darcy! For another awesome book and I cannot wait to read more of your work 💜🌶️🐺
I really enjoyed Plug & Tame! It picked up where book 1 had left off! Plenty of spice & feels between Nathaniel and a few twists too which I loved! A fab conclusion to a a generally lighthearted story - although check the content warnings, whilst funny and entertaining/heart warming at points, there are potential triggers. Looking forward to reading more of Darcy’s work in the future!

FIRST-HEED THE TW'S!!!!!! Cannot stress this enough with the second installment to this duology. THIS IS NOT FOR EVERYONE!!!
"You may begin, s1u7. Let us see what you are good for." Well dang! And we hit this ground running.
NOW-This for the readers that enjoy the really dark stories-darker than the Coven/The Cursed, DARKER than Haunting/Hunting Adeline...This is the darkest I have read to even remotely compare the darkness level too. MUCH darker than the first one: Plug and Claim.
Y'all this was an emotional roller coaster-like I don't think you understand-I had notes that basically said "noooooo!!!" and "I want to cry", "lol" and "heart"... ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!
We are back with Nathaniel and his pet (or is she his?). Right-because that's the question we are all looking for the answer to. Anyways Nathaniel and Kira are continuing their journey and let me tell you-JUST when you think _"oh that won't..." OH LOOK PLOT TWIST!!!! the second book does pick up a little bit so be ready to Full Send.
Not all inclusive but what stood out to me: -Slow-Burn -Age Gap (10 years) -Praise -B_D_$_M -EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER!!!!!! (as you read-check to make sure you are still upright). -He falls first -TRIGGER WARNINGS!!! -Enemies to Lovers -Unhinged
I received this as an ARC from Darcy Fayton and her team and cannot thank them enough for this opportunity. I leave this honest review voluntarily.
Besides the plot, I liked the author's writing and the spicy scenes were good and descriptive. Loved that the FMC is self-aware when she starts being annoying and the MMC showed a soft side that he can be hurt emotionally.
This was more smut heavy than the first book and mostly just MCs being sad for 3/4 of the book that they can't be together.
I can’t read a romance in which the FMC takes endless L's and is never able to feel a moment of triumph, autonomy, or safety. That’s just not something I can get behind.
The ending was rushed when she FINALLY got a victory and I just really felt like the MMC got everything he wanted with virtually no harm to him mentally and the FMC bore the brunt of everything and suffered both physically and mentally.
The epilogue wasn't even enjoyable. The MMC wanted the FMC to pretend he was his r**pist father that had SA'd her.....for funsies in the bedroom. HWHAT?!
If dark fantasy mixed with BDSM is your vibe, I would definitely check this out! It's in the third person
✨BDSM ❤️🔥Slow Burn ✨Paranormal - vampires/wolves ❤️🔥Sizzling Spice ✨Age gap ❤️🔥Genuine Enemies to lovers. ✨Virgin FMC ❤️🔥Strong FMC ✨He falls first ❤️🔥Morally Grey MMC **SA
This has everything you want and need in a book; it even had stuff you didn’t know you needed in it - my eyes watered! We pick up from the cliffhanger at the end of Part 1 of this Duology (Plug and Claim) in this book. This book is not a stand-alone and it is highly recommended that you read book 1 first.
Kira, the MFC, is reacting to the news that she will be Hennrik's pet, not Nathaniel's.
Nathaniel is a vampire, Kira is a werewolf, and the dynamic is HOT. Their chemistry is explosive - i expected to hate the MMC, and my god did i! The old title gives away the main feature of the plot, which kind of surprised me with her technically being a virgin into book 2 and the bdsm being a little tabboo.
The story is an age gap (they are older) with a Dom/Sub dynamic, and there are MANY trigger warnings especially in this second one- i was not prepared as i read the warnings o. The first and stupidly presumed the second would be the same- you have been warned to ensure you read them.
You will cry from betrayals, smile and swoon with romance, laugh, have real anger grow and eat you from the inside and sob again before the book is finished. This one was a bit too much for me bit I was still enthralled with the read. While there are some parts that are a bit uncomfortable to read through, the overall vibe of this story was interesting and SO SO dark in so many ways.
The spice in this book is 5 chillis. It is HOT. The BDSM is very realistic, especially the pet training aspects and the primal play. But this means the SA is also very real and upsetting. But needed for the story.
The romance and intimate moments are beautiful to read and watch unfold, but some readers may end up yearning for a more developed plot. Like the first book, I feel there were details and stories missing that could have enriched the story further, providing a more balanced read.
I enjoyed this one less than the first because of the dark turn it takes. The handing over of kira after she's fallen in love just broke my heart, and what happened next then crushed the broken pieces into a fine dust. So basically I like dark but this particular theme is not what I really enjoy, although it was done well. It’s heartbreaking and shocking at the same time. Definitely not for the faint of heart.
Another reviewer said this, and I've had to add it to my review because I can't say it any better myself: Like any good BDSM, the pull between dominance and submission goes back and forth. Good scenes will tug at the pride and bring a flair of me just wanting to yelling at the characters. Ultimately, once the submission comes (even begrudgingly), I applaud the author for the working through the conflict. It's all better because of the paranormal gothic dystopian vibes. Well done!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This is a spicy paranormal DARK romance. When I say dark, I mean DARK, it’s not for the faint hearted. Some of the content in this book will not be suitable for all readers, I 100% recommend checking the TW/CW before starting. This seriously levels up on the dark content compared to book one. It will push you out of your comfort zone, that’s for sure.
This story picks straight back up from where we finished in book one; hanging on for dear life on that metaphorical ledge. You are pushed right back into the emotional whirlpool with Kira learning the true intentions behind her place at the academy.
This book will forever be known as the ride on the Tragic Express. You had stops at all the main cities; angst, sadness, tragedy, and rage, a fleeting pass through fear village with a stop in trauma town before finally coming to a halt at all the feelings central.
This ride was so full of plot twists and fast corners, you didn’t know where to look or what to expect around the next bend. It completely took me by surprise; it was nothing like I imagined it would be. I expected the same volume of spice as the first book but this one was a similar level of spice, but the volume was packed up with meaty background depth instead. It was great to get a better understanding of where Kira came from and where Nathaniel’s involvement came in to play.
Watching Kira and Nathaniel’s relationship develop was heartwarming but heartbreaking at the same time. It was like watching the love that wasn’t supposed to be. The sacrifices they made for one another and their people pulled at your heartstrings as you knew what was at stake. The constant tough decisions wore them down but they battled on with fierce hearts. It was a turbulent journey for all involved, reader included!
The same level of character development was present in this book as the first and the added depth made for an interesting read. The world building was again top notch. Both so well written; it flowed smoothly throughout the book. The traumatic events present were very well written, too well written, it was like you were stood watching for yourself. This book wasn’t all about the smut, it was about trust and understanding and exploring the changing dynamics between our main characters.
The witty banter between Nathaniel and Kira was still present and a pleasure to read, it added a touch of light in what is such a dark book. I would have liked to have had more of their HEA as the trauma they endured deserved more but this didn’t detract from what was a brilliant read.
Tropes: 🩸Enemies to lovers 🩸Forced proximity 🩸Shifters 🩸Vampires 🩸Virgin FMC 🩸Magic 🩸Academy 🩸Age gap 🩸Dub con
Would highly recommend to those on the search for a read that will pull them out of their comfort zone ♥️
I read this book earlier in January and I am sorry that it took me weeks to get a review written for it. I wanted to do justice for this book and not just write something off the top of my head, I wanted to reread my favorite parts and give my heart's feeling on the book. So here is my somewhat in-depth review...hopefully, I won't spoil too much magic for you!
I loved this book from start to finish and I think I loved it more than the first book in the duology and that is difficult to do because of how much I loved the first one.
Before I review, there may be mild spoilers (quotes, etc.) below and check triggers before reading as some of the spice is on the darker side.
A book about love, being who you want to be, naughtiness, and realizing that sometimes happy endings do come true.
This is a continuation of Plug and Claim and follows the main characters Kira and Nathaniel, told in dual POVs. This story picks up where the last one finished as Kira flees from the one she was falling for. This book further dives into who Kira is exactly and her past as well as what Nathaniel's role in it is. As the story progressed, Kira found out not only who she was and what she was capable of, but what her feelings for Nathaniel were.
Kira is a badass, plain and simple. She's the FMC we all dream of reading about, not trying to change who she is to please everyone. Even in the spicy scenes, she still has some fight in her. She knows what she needs to do and knows what sacrifices and challenges will be faced and needs to be made. She's not afraid to be herself and that makes her and Nathaniel a major threat to the tyranny currently happening. "No way. I have mind control?"
Did I say how much I love these characters?
"I was in awe of you" "Tonight, tomorrow, forever--that is when I want you Kira"
Let's just take a moment to appreciate the vampire prince Nathaniel. Such a well-written MMC, he captured the essence of a strong male presence that supports his badass, *cough* girlfriend *cough*, woman. He's also not afraid to sacrifice himself to save her and we all love a morally grey guy who will burn everything down around her if it will save her, even if it curses him in the process.
(Can I punch Mark myself?)
The storytelling and character development was amazing and I felt all the pain, joys, and heartbreak each character experienced. I know SPICE was a major part of the book (it's called a steamy romance book for a reason), but I felt that it was well-written and it in some ways showed the character development or under(never gonna)development (looking at you Henrrick!). To me personally, as the book developed, the spice developed too. In the end, it wasn't about spicing for the spice of it (see what I did there) but it had a deeper level of trust between the MCs. They had been to hell and back and even though parts of them may not be quite the same, they completed each other and they had each other.
So, safe to say I loved this book. There was spice, plot twists, angst, heartbreak, and romance. Everything you could ask for in a book. I am sad that the series is technically over as it was a duology, but I'd read every book I could.
Groomed by the Vampire Prince is the end of the duet by Darcy Fayton. This book is much darker then the first, but I didn't mind that overall. I will say I do recommend reading the trigger warnings if you are sensitive prior to reading the first book so then you can confirm if this series for you due to the cliff hanger at the end of the first book. Other than that, I was satisfied with the ending of this story, there is definitely some different avenues for this book which for me took me out of the experience that the first book gave me, but this was still a junk food like book for me.
We are now following Nathaniel and Kira after the events of the first book which ended at a cliff hanger that I will not spoil here. They now have to navigate the twists and turns and we see more into the past, and come up to the intense climax and conclusion of the story. The story at the end of the day was satisfying. It does end with a happy ending which is always is a good touch specially with some of the dark themes that you see throughout the story.
Where I think I gotten taken out of the story would be during some of the spicy scenes. Specifically the "dream sequences." Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good spicy book, but specially the dream sequences took me out of the experience, and I felt like they were like fun story stories that didn't impact the story at all. This by no means makes this a bad book, but for me it does make this get rated a little bit lower than the first book. I felt the first book kept the themes throughout and everything had a purpose, while the second book doesn't follow in that theming.
Overall if you are looking for a darker story, like to try something that is different and dark. It has been a long time since I wanted to stay up reading and this book was still bingeable. If you are looking for something new that would be perfect for the October Vibes or darker fantasy, I would highly recommend trying this out and seeing if it is for you!
It is with a heavy heart that I had to DNF this book (read to Chapter 20 - On Leash Training, about halfway through).
Look, I gave the first book 4 stars as I enjoyed the haters to lovers and balance between degradation and pleasure. I'm not even into degradation, but I genuinely enjoyed how the author toed the line.
This book, however, takes that line and crushes it. You are left with something disquieting and honestly distressing to read. You've gone from play thing with some ambiguous consent and partial non consensual intimacy scenes, to a guy who supposedly loves his girl but continues to hurt, humiliate, be intentionally cruel, and now publicly hurt and humiliate his girl with seemingly little care for her wellbeing. And if that's not so bad, it's reading the FMC's thoughts about being swallowed by the humiliation and giving in that is heartbreaking. It's giving the same vibes as the male rape scene in Outlander, where the main male villain forces the MMC to orgasm, causing the MMC to feel confused, guilty, and questioning what he enjoys sexually. It's disgusting.
I could no longer overlook my discomfort and lose myself in the smut. I actually felt like crying for the FMC.
To top it off, we had this gem of a line: "...as he punctured something that had to be her hymen..." Ew. I had to put the book down for a few minutes after reading that.
All said and done, perhaps this kink just isn't for me. If you like degradation and humiliation, don't mind noncon and painful intimacy (especially anal), then eat your heart out.
I was given an advanced copy of this book by Book Siren and left a voluntary review.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
So, this may have been... my most anticipated release in January. I loved the first book in the series, and so I was highly anticipating the conclusion. It did fall flat for me, I felt like everything was taken that one step too far and became nausea inducing- while the HEA itself was one step not enough and didn't fully relieve my nausea. This book was so full of angst and a terrible situation that the two main characters find themselves in, that it was a bit too much like real life for me. The overly long and drawn out Non- Con situation between Kira and Nathaniel's father was so unenjoyable and the "healing" from the situation didn't feel very healing there at the end. I feel like I could have endured the misery for a sweeter healing, but to me in the end no one seemed very happy, just exhausted. It was well written as always, and had great pacing, plot and character development, because the author is a very good writer- this is likely a book for many, in the end, it was just... was not really the escapist fun that book one was, there were some heavy issues that didn't really get lighter, and since we don't get a third book in the series, I'm left with sort of, less joy than expected. I want to give it 1 star for enjoyment, but that isn't fair as the author has put together a very solid piece of writing, and since I've been reading Monster and Paranormal romance all this year, that's quite a feat, as a lot of it is.... less good. So four stars for a quality product, even if it felt devastating.
I would advise you to check out my review of Book 1, Plug and Claim, and most of my thoughts extend to this book. I have *thoughts* about this book that extend way beyond a review as I feel this book is doing some serious lifting when it comes to consent, SA, trauma, recovery from trauma, the greater good, societal norms/expectations, societal/cultural divisions and stereotypes...I could go on. But you probably are not here for that. If you read Plug and Claim, you must finish the duology. You deserve to know how it ends. However, please check the CWs or message me, the author, someone, because this book levels up on the darkness from book one. LEVELS. UP. And again, don't get mad and give this book one star because you read the warnings, proceeded anyway, and got your knickers in a twist because of the direction Darcy Fayton took it. However, there is an HEA which you know. So keep that in mind as you read. I feel like anything else I say will spoil the book for you. I did have to put the book down at times, walk away, breathe, and come back. I had to think on some things. Yes, there is still a LOT of spice. All very well written. And some of the spice might confuse your feelings a bit. You might find yourself pushed a bit outside your comfort zone. This book will stay with me for a while, possibly forever.
Bottom line: Incredibly well written, thoughtful, and thought provoking but not for everyone. If you are a sensitive reader, prepare yourself.
When Plug and Claim ended on a cliffhanger, I thought I knew what to expect from the next book; however, the author surprised me with Plug and Tame. There were twists and turns that I wasn't expecting, and they showed things in a completely new light. I loved the different ways in which the author dealt with the twists and turns, from the use of dreams and memories to explore past events and present fantasies to the use of traditional items like silver to weaken wolves. All the different types of magic, from vampires to wolves to witches, were considered in this book, making for a refreshing and exciting read.
I didn't think I'd feel anything but hatred for Nathaniel following the first book, but things changed for me in this second part of the duet. We saw a completely different side to him that was almost softer and sweeter, but then there were moments where he reverted to his facade of being cruel in the name of his 'mission' which made it a difficult read as I really wanted Nathaniel and Kira to get a happy ending and seeing them both hurting hurt me as a reader. It was an emotionally charged and angsty read, with a lot of dark moments described that will be difficult for some to read, so I recommend checking trigger warnings, but if you read Plug and Claim, you will be slightly prepared for the subject matter.
The plot twist in this is like amazing, this book brings you on such a long journey finding out more and more along with Kira. Nathaniel finally reveals his deep secrets which will change Kira's life forever.
Plug and Tame is the second book in the duology it's the sequel. You have to read this in the order of the series or none of it will make any sense to you. I read this book in a day. This book is hellaaaaa spicy most scenes most of this book is spicy. It's so beautiful to see Nathaniel and Kira's relationship though absolutely gorgeous to see it flourish into what it is at the end. Bonus Chapters were also gorgeous.
Also a thing to add this was my first books that have a fantasy involved so the vampire and wolf shifter sort of thing. I think it was great. Might not be for people who don't like degrading, BDSM,bondage, pet play but if u like that go ahead and read it
I will also add I have never heard much about pet play or read any pet play but this was actually really enjoyable to read. For some reason which I will never understand I actually like the pet name pet like the other pet name babe or something else.
Dile up to eleven the tension, angst....and, of course …smut😈💜🌶 .....and that is Plug and Tame, the continuation of Plug and Claim by Darcy Fayton. After that cliffhanger at the end of book one, I simply couldn't miss where the story will lead us💜 This dark romance definitely pushes the boundaries of your comfort zone😈 but still comfortable for a reader like me that is not frequent in that genre💜 I was happy to see in that installment Kira’s character finding her footing and grabbing the reigns with a clear goal in mind. Although with plenty of sacrifices and a rough decisions for both our main characters, it was intriguing to witness how the dynamic between them changes throughout their journey while also trying to balance the obligations to which they are bound. We see a new side and learn new things not only about Nathaniel but Kira as well, combined with unexpected twist and turns that lead to the lovely conclusion of this turbulent story. Luckily, there will be a prequel story about sweet Susie, and I'm certainly curious to return to this world with Plug and Drain.
