Once again Max Lucado has inspired me to know more about our creator and his plan for our lives and this world. The 3 in one book is souly focusing on Jesus and his role on this earth as an example for how we live, as well as what a man is suppose to do and want and where God has us headed. Its just easier now to read these three because its all in one book.
With more than 150 million products in print and several NYT bestsellers, Max Lucado is America's bestselling inspirational author. He serves the Oak Hills Church in San Antonio, Texas, where he lives with his wife, Denalyn, and their mischievous mutt, Andy. His most recent book published in August 2024 and is titled What Happens Next.
This was the first time I read anything by this fantastic author. I just L-O-V-E-D all of these. I L-O-V-E-D that there were 3 volumes contained in one place because of the continuity. I would recommend these works to anyone and everyone!
Three books in one binding is tough to review. I REALLY loved the last book, No Wonder They Call Him the Savior! What an exceptionally personal look at the crucifixion and the people directly impacted, including me. The other books were both good. That one was just better for me right now.
Lucado’s writing is always so easy to read because it is so conversational, but it is so difficult to get through because my heart is either convicted or yearning and my eyes are blurring with tears.
This book was a great retelling of the characters in the room with Jesus telling them to keep their eyes on the ground so that he can figure out how they do it.
Max Lucado is a brilliant author. He has the gift of taking gospel miracles and turning them into modern day situations. I would recommend this book to anyone who really wants to walk in the footsteps of our Savior and see what was in His heart the last days of His life on earth as He was led to the cross.
very good book made me sit back and see the things I go through are small compared to what Jesus went through.....if people today really studied Jesus' last days then they would also see the things that they face are small compared to Jesus suffering
