Read all about The Williams-Torrance Pack now available in one book. **This omnibus is the completed Williams-Torrance Pack trilogy (A Pack Unwanted, A Pack Uncertain, and A Pack Extended) and plenty of Bonus An Almost Mate Pegged (previously only available to newsletter subscribers) An Omega Found (a special short of how Damon and Mickey met) exclusive to the omnibus A Beta On Top (an added spicy scene you won’t want to miss) exclusive to the omnibus And my personal recipes on how to make Chicken Fajitachini (yes, it is a real dish I make) and Alfredo Nachos.** A Pack Unwanted (Book 1) All my life, I expected to be a beta. So when I met a lovely man in college during class freshman year, I thought nothing of it. Three years later, when I unexpectedly emerged as an omega, I was determined that our lives wouldn’t change. Five years later, my suppressants fail on my mate, and I mid-heat. We’re left with very few suffer through an unmedicated heat or find some alphas to weather future heats with us. The thing is, I’ve never really wanted a relationship with an alpha. I’ve never really wanted a pack. Will my hormones drive me to do something I don’t want, or will I find acceptance and love?
I should have listened to my gut. This series kept popping up in my suggested lists, and everytime I had a feeling that it would piss me off. My intuition was spot on. This story emotionally wore me out, and not in a good way. My husband suggested I DNF several times. I was made reading 60% on. I thought it was going to be okay when I first started my read, but when it started going downhill it went fast and never recovered. The only character I connected with was Caitlyn(Cat) throughout the entire time. My heart broke for her so many times. Everyone gaslit and minimized her feelings the entire time. Cat was never prioritized for anything. Mickey, whom I will be getting to, was everyone's number one, while Cat was treated like a nuisance spare omega/incubator. Cat is legitimately upset about a lie by omission she's emotional. Cat is in the ER because her health has obviously been getting worse, That's fine I'd rather be with my new partners. It doesn't matter that she was mine first, and I said she was my priority in everything. Cat slips about being emotionally, physically, and possibly sexually assaulted by her father, we'll never know because Mickey's trauma trumps everything. I'm sorry, but if a friend said that they had to take over "wifely duties" after their mother died I would stop everything and get them help. That was the problem, Cat had no friends to help her see that everything she was feeling was valid and point out how she was being treated. She was alienated even within the pack. I could go on for days about how she was treated. Now let's move on to Adam, Cat's partner of eight years. He was amazing in the beginning. Supporting her at every turn. Well, at least until Damon comes into play. It was at this point that my opinion started to change. The connection with Cat I saw diminished quickly. His sexual interest in Cat was dwindling and it seemed the only interaction was when he wanted Damon but couldn't, and later Mickey. Then one or the other was constantly there for intimate moments. Cat complains about Damon not wanting to get to know her, he tells her he's busy and to say something. Why can't you, buddy? You're supposed to be going into the relationship equally, Trash. Cat finds out that the pack was lying from the very beginning he was more upset about not being able to see Damon anymore. Damon gives a pathetic excuse for hiding his relationship with Mickey and work was just so busy and he wanted to get to know Adam first. Everything is forgiven and forgotten. Then this man, who is forever going to be referred to as Trash, dares to trick Cat into speaking to this POS pack. It's okay. Cat is a doormat, she'll forgive anything. Let's not forget now that Trash knows that Mickey is Damon's partner Trash is interested in them, too, even though Trash showed no interest in prior meetings. Trash wasn't bothered by Cat having a medical emergency. Trash couldn't even be bothered to rearrange his schedule to help take care of her. Trash also ignored Cat wanting to go home, and forces her to stay with people she still DOES NOT trust. I just started skipping over POVs if the only characters involved were Trash, Damon, or Mickey. Now I'll move on to the pack. I'll start with Mickey. Mickey is nonbinary. Is this a problem for me? No. I have several nonbinary loved ones, whom I would jump on a grenade for. The problem is that Mickey's backstory is used as a get-out-of-jail-free card for everything. It's pathetic. They are not a likable character. They are condescending the entire time. Then when they become Little like was annoying. To be honest other than being the catalyst for the drama Mickey does not add anything to the story. Much like Abby. Damon, or POS #1: In his introduction, everything is kind of pointing to Damon and Cat being scent matches. Joke on the readers, Damon only wants Trash. He makes time to get to know Trash, but does nothing to get to know Cat. Cat is the whole reason he has the opportunity to meet Trash. There is one off-page date between Damon and Cat, and it is implied that he showed no interest and essentially ignored Cat. But SHE needs to be the one to fix it. Cat confides in more detail about what happened in her childhood. Damon's thoughts were about how he would only ever have Vanilla sex with her. Not about how she needs help to get closure. During their first sexual interaction Cat notices his tattoo that says daddy, in an intimate area, and questions it. She doesn't know he's into BDSM. He snaps with "With some, never you". It comes off as if he feels Cat is less than Mickey and Trash. His and Cat's relationship does not improve before the end of the duet. Which I believe why the author had to write an extended epilogue, after too many complaints. Abby, or POS #2: Has the personality of wet paper, though did THINK that maybe the pack should rethink hiding Mickey after hearing part of Cat's traumatic story. Did she say anything? Nope. Which was screamingly clear during Damon and Cat's conversation. I don't have much to say about Abby. She was just kind of there. Matt, or POS#3: I can honestly say that at the end Matt was the only character to redeem himself. He was the only one that seemed genuinely apologetic for what Cat had been put through by his pack. Matt was the only one that wasn't constantly condescending towards Cat. Matt was the only partner that was concerned about Cat, at the end.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Jay Black is a new author to me, though I have had the original, individual parts of this omnibus on my TBR list for a while. But I have to say, I absolutely fell in love with the way they created their world, and the individuality of all the characters. Hands down, Mickey is my favourite - is it because I see a lot of myself in them, possibly. But there was just something so lovable about Mickey, and the way they interacted with the rest of the pack.
I loved the LGBTQI+ representation in this series. The discussions around gender dysphoria, gender/sexual identity, and the acknowledgment that not all "love" relationships have to be romantic made my queer little heart swell. And the dedication? My eyes were glassy as I read it, not going to lie.
Black's Omegaverse was slightly different to what I've been used to reading, but that didn't change my enjoyment of the series. I love that there were differences between their world compared to other contemporary OV novels, and loved the inclusion of the explanation of their world at the beginning of the series.
The spice was amazing without seeming too much, and I love the dynamics of all the characters in the pack. So glad they all got their HEA.
And side note - very likely to try those recipes at some point - they sound amazing!
A Pack United:The Williams-Torrance Omnibus is written by Jay Black and is the trilogy put together plus some fun extras included.
💜 omega and beta bond 💜 LGBTQ+ and Non-Binary representation 💜 found family 💜 open communication 💜 🌶🌶🌶🌶 spicy spice
Caitlin (Cat) and Adam have been a couple since they met in college. Neither one had their designations present by the time that they had met, but both expected to be betas. Adam emerged first as a beta and when Cat emerged as an omega, she was shocked. They decided that they were going to stay together and ended up a bonded couple. But, what happens when suppressants no longer work? They decide to look for alphas to help with her next heat. Will they finds some that will accept their bond? Will they be able to find a pack for the long term?
This was such a sweet omegaverse story. I think it was good to see a story that went through different thought processes and paths than what we often see in other stories. The storyline also included LGBTQ+ and non-binary characters that were so well written into everyday life, and I throughly enjoyed it. I can’t wait to see what else is written within this world.
There's just something so comfy about Jay Black's books. I feel so warm and cozy while reading them.
This is a sweet omegaverse book. It's about Caitlin and Adam. Caitlin is an omega and Adam is a beta. They are a bonded couple. They are not in a pack and don't want to be in one. During Caitlin's heat, her suppressants fail suddenly. This means that Caitlin can no longer be on suppressants as they no longer work for her and she now needs an alpha to get her through her heats.
This has Caitlin and Adam at the Omega center. They scent match with a pack. The book is about their developing relationship with the pack.
This is the first book I've read with a non-binary character. Mickey is my favorite character of the series.
This Omnibus has bonus material, which includes Damon and Mickey's first meeting. I loved to see how they met.
If you enjoy sweet omegaverse books, you'll enjoy A Pack United.
This has everything you could want in an omegaverse book, knotting, heats and complicated pack dynamics!
Cat is an omega who is mated to Adam (a beta) when things happen and she needs to find a pack to bond with who will also accept Adam. She meets Damon in a bar and feels an attraction to him but is surprised when she ends up meeting the other members of his pack and realises he is a part of the peach she scent matches with.
The omnibus contains all 3 books so we get to see their story progress and relationships grow and change between everyone but it’s not without its struggles. I loved that book 3 allows us to see their life in the future as they all settle into their relationships. The spice is hot 🥵 and I loved the little novellas at the end.
This book deals with some complex issues around sexuality and gender identity and it is very sympathetic to this.
Absolutely loved this omnibus. Love me some Adam! The love built between all the pack members was beautiful. The inclusion of the struggle with being non-binary, the queer representation, and the flawless way the author wove that in, including more comfortable names for their anatomy, was refreshing and well executed. The inclusivity and acceptance was easily felt through out. The only things I found lacking was the build up of Damon and Cat’s relationship, a few things left in answered or just not resolved, and the bonus scenes would have been awesome added into the story line. All in all, this is a fantastic read!
Can you imagine a life where you don't really have an option i what you want? Well this is such a story. Perfectly happy but in need of a pack nonetheless so the journey is real. I love the emotions this also comes sith. The author here wrote a believable story and I really enjoyed Cat and Adam. Suppressants fail and now in dire need of alphas or suffer. What would you do? I am a huge fan of character development and to see how relationships grow from here. I enjoyed the fact that it isn't slow burn or anything so we still have the heat factor. The story is nice to read and keeps you engaged and I can't wait for more by this author.
This is the omnibus of William- Torrence pack by Jay Black. You get the 3 books in one plus 3 different bonus materials and some recipes from the book! I loved this series and the way the author put together this book while doing so with the work of the lgbtq+ and a non binary character. I fell in love with the characters, Cat was the best fmc, so soft and loyal as the omega. My favorite guys are Adam and Damon. Adam having my heart from the beginning. The bonus content was just the extra icing on top to give you more of the characters that you fall in love with.
I absolutely loved this book. It has everything I love in an omegaverse book and then some. I loved how they pack didn’t object to Cat already having a Beta mate when they started courting her and how they developed relationships with Adam as well. The pack dynamics in this book were amazing and everyone’s feelings where talked about before major life events happened.
I loved how Mickey’s character was handled and how they explained more about how they figured out they were non-binary. Honestly the entire book was well written and I had a really hard time putting it down!
This collection was a different telling of an omegaverse than ones I’ve read before.
I really enjoyed the openness of not just straight relationships but also lgbtqia relationships as well.
I loved the fact that everyone, after a bit of miscommunication, was very open and honest about their feelings and where they stood with certain situations.
I loved the happiness they all got at the end and was very happy with how everything ended for them.
I've read a couple of omegaverse books previously, but this was my first book by Jay Black. This is the first book I've read with a non-binary main character. Mickey is central to this pack and this book. How can you not fall in love with them?! The bonus content is amazingly sexy as are the books AND includes the recipes!! I love that everyone in the Williams -Torrance pack has a HEA including the the pack bond they all share.
This was such a great read! I absolutely could NOT put this down! I love how this has all of the stories in one, PLUS a couple other HAWT short stories that give some spicy insights. I love the dynamics between all the members of the pack, even the ones who are not "together" like Matt and Abby. I also love how the pack is all interconnected so everyone has vital connections with each other. Such an amazing read!
Having read the previous books I was overjoyed to find them all in one omnibus along with new bonus content regarding the backstories of the pack members. I loved finding out how Mickey became a part of the pack and we even got some tasty recipes, that I will be making this week by the way. Jay Black has given us such a wonderful gift with these stories and the hardcover will be going on the shelf with the family photos because that's what the Williams-Torrance pack has become to me....family.
This is my first book by Jay Black, and I loved it. I liked the different dynamics in the group. Everyone had their own relationships within the pack, but the pack as a whole loved each other. It's a great blend of LGBTQ including someone who is non binary. It's told in multi person view, so we get to know how everyone is feeling and what they are thinking. It deals with happiness, sadness, anger , jealousy, and love plus other everyday struggles.
This was one of the first omegaverse books that I read that was a series instead of a standalone and I absolutely loved it! There was the right amount of plot and spice, not to mention the pacing of the book was perfect!! The bonus content and recipes in this omnibus make everything about this better... If I were to have one downside to the book, I wish Cat and Damon were able to develop their relationship more.
I read this book first when they were all separate books but, had todo a lovely re-read when I saw an omnibus version. Plus the bonus scenes and recipes!
This is an omegaverse with LGBTQI+ representation as well as emotional vulnerability and discussions so, so definitely look into content warnings and trigger warnings.
But, with that, this book was still definitely sweet and spicy and, just a perfect amount of uniqueness to the traditional Omegverse plot lines.
This book felt like home. I loved each and every member of this pack and thoroughly enjoyed their interactions and relationships with each other. I loved that every member got their time to shine and how the story truly felt like an ensemble cast rather than focusing on any particular character's needs. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys found family and omegaverse.
It was a lovely treat to read all the Williams Torrance pack books again, and the additional shorts are a brilliant addition.
The short stories complete the overall story of the pack, showing snippets from before the original stories and then into the furure plus some fun additions and recipes.
A great addition to my library. Highly recommended.
A sweet, spicy wonderful omegaverse omnibus, beautifully written with a cast of amazing characters. I loved the different relationships within the pack and having a non binary character. A lovely read.
This book is a compilation of the previous three books all together in one place. I loved this story of the pack and their journey to get to their happily ever after! A must read for any fan omegaverse.
This a three in one sweet, loving story. It includes A Pack Unwanted, A Pack Uncertain, and A Pack Extended. There’s bonus content included too. Loved it.
This is such a cute omegaverse. A pack united is a three book trilogy which take you along with Cat an omega and her mate Adam, on thier journey to either find an alpha or a pack.
This trilogy is well written the spicy is perfect for the story line. This is the first time i read an Lgbtq story with a nonbionary character and at first i qas confused but then quickly caught on.
The character building and world building was well written to the point that it felt like i was in thier world with them.
Overall i rated it a 4 out 5. I enjoyed it and could not put it down.
I love this group so much. This book gives you all of the Williams - Torrance goodness that came with the first three books, and so much more (yay for bonus content). While I had read a little bit of omegaverse before I started on my journey with this pack, it was this group of characters that drew me and and really made me love omegaverse. ❤️ get to reading! Binge to your heart's content. It's all right here 😍
I loved these books. It was a very wholesome, sweet omegaverse that showcased a nonbinary character really well. The love and acceptance within this pack just made my queer heart so happy. It touched on the trauma of not being accepted and being judged by others in a way that it's so incredibly easy to relate to.
This is a unique omegaverse romance that has a lot of inclusivity. It is a very sweet omegaverse omnibus including bonus content. I was really glad of being able to read this series through with out waiting. I love the feel of family, love and acceptance the pack had. It showed some incredible interactions, connections and dynamics.
