Nirvana
An entertaining short story filled with dark humour.
‘A realization struck Tommie like a shock wave from an atomic bomb. He was completely paralyzed, his eyes the only part of his body he was able to move. He was neither in an operation theatre nor in a recovery room. He was on an autopsy table in the middle of a morgue.’
The novella is about two students visiting the city’s most exclusive nightclub ‘Nirvana’ with the hope of losing their virginities. Their night takes a macabre turn for the worst after they experimented with an unknown drug quite ironically also called ‘Nirvana’. Jerome wakes up in a flower garden, while his missing friend Tommie wakes up incapacitated on an autopsy table.
