About the author

Robert Enright was born in North London and resides in Buckinghamshire with his wife and daughter, working earnestly to write for a living and dreaming of the day he can get a dog.

He is the author of the international best selling Sam Pope series as well as the DS Jack Townsend series.

Five Stars

I have read all of the Sam Pope books in order and I have never been disappointed. Each and every book is a Five Star read. Lots of non stop action and thought provoking material. I can only wait patiently for the next book. A big thank you to the author Robert Enright and from me another well deserved 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As Sam returned to England after his excursion to take down the Russian oligarch, he confronts 3 wealthy business men who dealt with the Russian. While waiting on a response 2 policeman are murdered under suspicious circumstances and Sam begins his investigation. Two detectives discover an anomoly and become targets themself. A combination of mid to high ranking police officers and a politician 5o million pounds worth of gold make for an exciting fast paced novel

Corruption at top level

A few good cops and Sam, looking into why two officers had been killed, DS Sutton was determined to follow her gut, not initially getting the approval of her parter who was close to retirement but in the end back her judgement because something was not right and in spite of being warned off they followed a small lead. This put them in the cross hairs of the corrupt. Excellent book.

Sam Helps

Sam finds himself still the most wanted man in the country and decides he needs to help find out who is killing police officers. Will he find himself between warring factions who both want him off the streets? It is a contest the wishbone never wins unless one side gives in...will he make it in one piece?

With the help of his character who the series is named after ‘Sam Pope’ his books are filled with fast paced intriguing chapters not for the faint hearted. Not only does Sam dish out punishment to do the right thing for injustice he takes it as well, battered, bruised, brutally cut and on his last legs he squares up to his brutal opponent’s time and again until he comes out on top, and rids the world, and on this occasion London, of greedy politicians and high up met officers who think nothing of bribing and turning their own officers, the very people who have sworn to protect the public into traitors of the force. Hiring a hitman to maim and kill London’s finest. Thank you for keeping me up all night Mr Enright, you are the only author with the help of Sam Pope who can achieve this.

Good Thriller.

Fast moving thriller that has Pope delving into the murders of two police officers as he as the feeling that something is just not right. His suspicions are also held by two Detectives whose delving into a Gold Robbery despite being told to ignore it and concentrate on the murders lead Pope to save the life of the female officer in her apartment and go on the run. Subsequent events involving corrupt officers and criminals lead to the uncovering of corrupt political leaders and arrests and a gesture from Pope to help a person who helped him in time of need.

Another, explosive, cracker!!

As ever Sam Pope rises to the challenge. Corruption & greed is vanquished. Although this is fiction, there is an element of truth that exists in society today, that there are corrupt elements who would wish to override the law & the justice system.There are politicians & police who are not on the side of what is right. We really could do with a Sam Pope.

Thoroughly Enjoyable

Another great story with the lovable rogue that is Sam Pope. A good storyline with both warm and dark characters albeit with a littering of grammatical errors,🤭 Need to get Sam fully fit and healthy before his next brutal adventure 💪 Needs some medical friends who can help him and patch him up properly in future stories and to reconnect and make peace with Adrian!

Well worth the action.

Great read. Fully packed with action. Couldn't put the book down. Ate breakfast reading, no TV, kept going to the end. New characters to get me involved with and a different kind of plot. Still the corrupt men in power but, henchmen that won't quit. Read on you will enjoy.

wonderful read

I have really enjoyed reading these 13 book series about Mr Sam Pope , this one was well worth the waiting ( 6 weeks once I finished book 12 )

I’d recommend anyone who need to kick back and relax for a spell to read these books in order so they can be lost in another world and come out off it looking forward to the next adventure that Robert Enright takes us on

Great read as always Sam cannot rest while people were being targeted .Two police offers killed and a gold robbery being covered up by the corrupt police and Sam is determined to find out why ,putting himself in danger to do the right thing .
