All we need is love, and in this book, the author narrates a tale of deep love and attachment. The story begins at school, to be precise, in 10th grade. The protagonists, or should I call the lovers of this story, are poles apart in every factor; one is the talented (academically) and hard-working middle-class boy, while the other is the creative, pampered princess of an elite family. What gets them together is their innocent, pure love. But when has society understood Meera's love for her Krishna? Will Meera reach Mohan? Will Mohan wait for Meera?

This story is a contemporary depiction of the love and devotion of Mirabai in the 16th century, the only difference being the climax. Mirabai's story ends with her reaching Krishna through devotion, but this story ends with hope, where Mohan waits for his Meera with love and care. The author's style of narration is a fusion of modernity and old-fashion. This story is a comfort read without any errors and a tale that will be enjoyed by every reader.

Congratulations to the author Saras Azad for writing a wonderful  book which will not only keep you hooked till the last page, but also force you towards deep thinking. Though the discussion of the story line in such a book where many surprises are waiting after turning the pages , I personally don't like. As it destroys the author's effort and spoiler is never a great experience for me. However the story expertly navigates the tumultuous waters of love amidst societal constraints. Meera and Mohan's love story is a gripping narrative that showcases the power of love to defy all odds.

As the story unfolds, readers are taken on a journey of courage and sacrifice as Meera and Mohan confront life's challenges head-on. The narrative is not without its fair share of heartbreak and adversity, but it's ultimately a tale of hope and the enduring power of love.

In conclusion, "Madly in Love" is a well-crafted YA novel that skillfully combines the elements of romance, emotion, and societal commentary.
Saras Azad's storytelling prowess shines through, making this book a must-read for those who appreciate love stories that challenge the status quo and celebrate the indomitable spirit of young love. It is a testament to the idea that love can truly conquer all barriers, even those imposed by society.

⏩ What’s the longest book you’ve ever read?

❤️ Madly in Love by Saras Azad is a cute, sweet, and thought-provoking romantic story.

❤️I adore the cover, which exudes a romantic, bright vibe.

❤️ The book revolves around Meera and Mohan, who live in Gorakhpur.
Mohan is perfect studies, arts, and personality attract meera's attention in seconds.

❤️ While Meera is totally opposite to hating math, a chubby, rich girl starts her journey on the "need" to know more about Mohan.

❤️ What makes this book different is that this is the first time I saw a girl confessing, chasing, and being brave in initiating something that broke stereotypes.

❤️ That's what Meera is: brave, fighter, and courageous, but her life has never been easy.

❤️ Yes, she chose to love Mohan, and luckily, Mohan loved her too, but their journey was painful.

❤️ I hate Meera's family; a rage filled my mind while reading their nonsense thoughts, but it happened in my life too.

❤️ However, at some point, I found the story irrelevant or boring with its too-formal writing style.

❤️ But the concept of "love" breaking all barriers, just like a river, embraces each other in the middle.

❤️ The story has such a smooth flow that you will keep reading.

❤️ Overall, it was a nice experience reading this story.

The story is set in Gorakhpur revolving around the lives of two youngsters Meera and Mohan.
Meera our female protagonist belongs to an influential family, her father is well-known in the city and has a good reputation. She is born with a silver spoon, she enjoys singing and has a dream of becoming a professional singer one day. On the other hand Mohan our male protagonist belongs to a middle-class family and has a charming personality with that cute smile of his which can make anyone fall for him. He is multi-talented and is keen on achieving his dream of becoming an IAS officer.
As their paths cross in the school for the first time a spark begins, we can see the chemistry between them is undeniable and slowly as time passes this friendship turns into love.
Their bond becomes more genuine and deep as the stories moves forward.
Social barrier creates a lot of chaos and a lot of drama in their relationship. But they never give up on their love they fight for it till the very end. Will they be able to be together going against their families and the world?

So first of all, I was so excited to read this book after seeing its name and cover because I wanted to read a love story. This book fulfilled my desire to read a love story but in the end, I was in tears, annoyed, and depressed.
The book is written in simple English as well as some of the Hindi song lyrics, which makes it interesting. The touch of traditions and Indian culture was one of the best things about this book. The story was fast-paced and exciting and you will want to turn the page as I finished this book in 1 sitting.
The character of Mohan was portrayed so well and definitely, a green flag, that at a certain point, I felt the female protagonist Meera was a red flag but that is just for certain things otherwise, she was a strong character.
The only point which I did not like about this book, was its climax. I haven't expected that kind of ending or should I say, it was not an ending at all. I think the ending was written in a rush. I was not expecting a fairy tale story but in my opinion, it could have been better.
Overall it was a good book to feel numb and excited emotion at the same time.

Even in 2023, so-called the "modern day" do you believe that falling in love with a person who's not similar to you in terms of finance, caste, etc. matters a lot?

'Madly in love' by Saras Azad is a beautifully narrated tale surrounding two lives, Meera and Mohan. Though different in terms of financial status, upbringing, etc., they were destined by the almighty. Meera was a girl who grew up very comfortably, and Mohan was the hard-working guy who wanted to crack the civil services exam.

The story takes a turn when the two developed feelings for one another. Well, not just that. They belonged to different castes. However, will they be able to make their relationship successful in spite of everything that was happening around them?

The language is simple, and the flow is extremely good. I did like the twists in the story and the message that the author wanted to convey. It's good even for beginners. You can finish it in one to two sittings easily. Undoubtedly, it makes you think about our societal norms. I recommend this to fiction lovers.

Madly in Love by Saras Azad is the rollercoaster love story of Meera and Mohan. The story mainly focuses on the problems and barriers society creates for lovers from the ancient times. Having same caste, colour, religion is considered important for marriage. But is it so?

Meera is a young, beautiful, talented girl who belonged to very rich family in Gorakhpur. From her very childhood, she didn't have to ask for anything twice, she always had what she wanted. Mohan belonged to a different caste and wasn't much rich. He came to Gorakhpur for preparation of Civil services exams.

They met and fell in love. Love knows no boundaries. They fell for each other. Society, family members created obstacles because they had differences in caste. Would they be able to fight for each other and have the life they want? Grab a copy to know.

The book discusses the evils of the societal norms and cultural barriers. Azad's writing style is lucid, smooth and easy. The book is beginner friendly and the story is fast paced.

Madly In Love by Saras Azad is a cute love story of two teenagers searching for their true feelings. I am normally not a romance reader but I have been exploring some books recently. Saras Azad's writing style is very simple which makes the book a perfect read for the beginners. Meera and Mohan's characters resembles our next door teenagers who fall in love with each other. The plot is fast paced and our characters go through a lot of things emotionally. In one word the book trope would be Friends to Lovers. I liked how the plot moves from two career ambitious teenagers to emotionally attached teenagers. It's a story which you can read again and again and you would not get bored. The book will definitely touch your heart and take you to your teenage days.

Reaching the climax was a real fun with lots of emotions and anticipations. I just kept on predicting what would happen next. My favorite part is when Mohan confesses his feelings for Meera. It was a beautiful experience reading it. Definitely, the book deserved 5 stars for its plot and characters.

"Madly in Love" by Saras Azad is a book that revolves around the love story of Meera and Mohan. Meera is an incredibly talented girl with a gift for singing, while Mohan is a very smart boy who excels in his studies.

From initially getting annoyed with Mohan for outscoring her in math to taking tuition from him, becoming friends, and then confessing her feelings, the author has beautifully portrayed all these phases.

When their parents found out about their relationship, they faced numerous hurdles in their lives. It was, overall, a tragic love story, and I felt like I was watching a movie, which is a good thing.

Overall, it is a fine read for your free time. At some points, it was a bit overwhelming, but it's still a good read to enjoy. I recommend checking it out.

"Madly in Love" is a stunning song that encapsulates the essence of a young adult romantic drama while demonstrating the unstoppable transformational force of love.
This heartfelt book serves as a poignant reminder that love has no bounds and has the power to unite people despite social divides and biases.

It both illustrates the anguish and suffering that can result from forbidding love and celebrates the ability of love to triumph over all challenges.

In conclusion, for everyone who appreciates a good romance book, I heartily suggest Madly in Love. Long after you have finished reading it, you will undoubtedly continue to think about this powerful and well-written story. I appreciate the author's beautiful story.
