"Riders of the Mountains" is a historical adventure novel of approximately 60,000 words. No cliffhangers, only pure unadulterated action.
Wyatt Wright is a bounty hunter who stumbles into a conflict between a greedy cattle baron and the Apache. He is taken as the potential savior of the Apache, but he knows he is only a man. When he is shot, the chief's daughter Tala tends his injuries and they grow close. I very much enjoyed reading this Western adventure novel and getting to know the characters, especially Tala, the chief and Wyatt.
This is the story of a young Apache woman who heals people with her special skills. A young man who is injured comes to their tribe with gun shot wounds and she heals him so he can help them take down a bad family who are trying to rid the area of them. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill
