Rate this book
A fresh take on what it means to be a "spiritual being having a human experience", this raw and wholly uncommon memoir explores how the crunchy moments of our daily life can be used to inspire the deepest transformation.
Sydney-based yoga practitioner, teacher and emotional intelligence consultant Sherrie Laryse set herself an audacious to quit the lucrative corporate job she disliked, to secure $50,000 for a house deposit and to meet her future husband. She achieved all three within a week.
This paradigm-shattering experience led her on an intense decade-long journey of questioning the limiting beliefs we impose on ourselves, and what happens when we have the courage and curiosity to explore our infinite potential - even when life drops us some curve balls, which it inevitably did!
Weaving together Sherrie's personal reflections, meditations and insights from Eastern wisdom traditions and Western sciences, On Path illuminates the path for modern-day way-seekers in a world bent on rewarding outdated ideals of perfection.

"A meaningful story loaded with humility, humour, and love that will awaken a deeper wisdom for life." Dr John Demartini, International Best-selling author of The Values Factor - The Secret to Creating an Inspired and Fulfilling Life

Lightly delivered big thinking.

What amazing book full of omniscient thoughts and concepts that can be applied to everyday life.

I felt it was reassuring and calming to my soul to read such wise insights.

A book that will stay on my shelf that will be shared and dipped into for many years to come.
It’s like a meditation class on paper.
Love. Love. Love.

An amazing book! Once I started reading I found it hard to put down. A very meaningful story with loads of extra gems along the way. So much just fell into place for me that it had me at times wondering if Sherrie was watching my movements through the day. It has changed my perspective on things and definitely for the better. I even find myself not stressing over an outcome now and just thinking Wendy is handling this for me today. This book gets a huge 5 stars from me.

A beautiful and touching look into the deep entanglements between mind and body. On Path highlights a plethora of seemingly innocuous yet key moments from the authors life, showcased through a unique and holistic perspective. By weaving together philosophy, psychology and spirituality, this book invites the reader to join the author through her journey while also prompting the audience to think differently about how they approach the world. Filled with laughter, loss and love, I believe this book is a valuable read for everyone ♡

Talking about putting things in perspective, this book offers both a wider perspective to life as a whole and addresses the raw genuine human experiences that can sometimes be rough. In the times of spiritual bypassing this book is a refreshing take on how to see, perceive and overcome challenges. A wholehearted love letter to human capacity to embrace life. Can highly recommend!

Having just finished your book Sherrie, I want to Thankyou for sharing your journey with me and all who read it. Your experiences are real, comforting and raw. You put into prospective for me that we are all on our own perfectly imperfect Path and that this in itself is something to be excited for. I have found myself already relating your “Wendy” (Lego) theory and techniques to my current work and family life and adapting a new approach in these areas is already becoming rewarding in so many ways. I believe that through your shared experiences and emotional intelligence knowledge, that this book will connect with so many readers on their own individual and unique Path.
Thankyou again 🙏

A refreshingly honest walk down the path of human existence. This book opens your mind and gives you invaluable insights into how we can successfully navigate this thing called life. Sherrie bravely shares her own raw experiences with the world along with her precious jewels of wisdom that she has gained as a result of her own personal journey. Everyone can take something from this read. Brave, vulnerable and powerful.

So grateful for you being so raw and exposed as you weave the reality of your journey through each page. I could not stop reading till I finished, so many insightful nuggets of inspiration. Effectiveness is the measure of truth, you have acted on and practiced the principles you have learnt along your path and now have shared with many more readers, a true nurturing soul
