Even in this reverse harem dystopian world, it’s difficult not being able to relate to Mari and I’m sure her being Hispanic helps.
It’s recommended to read the first portion of this series, books 1-3, before traversing 4-6. The hardships these characters go through really make you feel for their situation. Tess, Big G, and their baby. Balancing the relationship with Mari and her four men. Understanding the relationship of the “gods” and their “humans”. These books test all relationships—including the Demons and other factions—and some don’t end well. While reading, I was so immersed with the story that I missed so many plot twists. I don’t see it coming! That’s how you know you’re in a good story.
At this point, the spice is good but getting just a tad repetitive. Sure, they change it up or add to it but becoming foreseeable. I am thoroughly excited to start the last set of books!
