When the waiver you have to sign to get in the door is two pages long, you know it's going to be a good night.
But for me, I had no idea that the haunted House of Shadows would make good on their promise to deliver a whole host of horrors. They brought my fears to life, let their monsters play with me however they wanted, and blurred the line between role-play and reality until I wasn't sure what was real anymore.
But the biggest horror they made me face wasn't tangible. It was the desire I'd kept hidden for years, and the consequences of wanting something completely forbidden.
What happens inside these walls will stay with me forever.

Stepbrother's best friend and Stepbrother kinda gave me the ick not gonna lie. I can handle Stepbrother shit if they meet as adults but growing up with someone blood or not that's your brother and iky.
Other than that it was a spicy quick read and I really liked the concept of the house of shadows.

The book was really great! This is my first Kady Ash book and it didnt dissapoint, The whole scenario of a kinky haunted castle was absolutely so good, Very well written characters with some deranged smut fr

This book will certainly not be for everyone but I loved it. If you enjoy taboo, forbidden, and kinky books then you will want to check this out. Cassidy and Torren are step siblings who often bicker. That doesn’t stop them from getting to tickets to a kinky haunted house. They assume that they will go in, go their separate ways and meet up after. Once they are in the haunted house they get separated right away. When they are back together it is at the mercy of a masked stranger. When the masked man starts making demands lines get crossed. Eventually the masked persons identity gets revealed and Cassidy is quite shocked. This was dirty in the best possible way and I really enjoyed reading it. Check out this spooky season romance if you are down with hidden identity, forbidden relationships, MMF dynamic, and kinky smut.

Tbh it deserves a 5 star for the amount of darkness and spice it had, but i will be ashaméd of myself for giving it a 5 star😭, now i feel so silly for saying Haunting Adeline is the darkest book ever because THIS? I can't. Dark Roman girlies, I'm giving writing this review for u!! And soft Romance girlies just STAY AWAY FROM IT!! Perfect for spooky season
This was honestly a perfect little spooky season read, or just a little smutty palette cleanser if you need one.
Masked men are by far my fav, so this was right up my alley. It had a nice little plot twist or two thrown in there as well.
Overall, I think it was well-written, kept me engaged from start to finish, and had the right amount of spice to appease my smut-loving side!

WOW!
I literally just stumbled upon this gem while searching for Halloween novellas and it did not disappoint!
For such a short a book that the author herself warned was short on plot, high on spice, this was freaking amazing. I thought it had just enough plot to keep me engaged and the spice definitely made up for anything lacking.
Seriously. This is, so far, my favorite read of the spooky season!

For those that, like me did not realize - this is horror porn.
I like smut as much as the next girl, but when 60% of the book is very detailed and aggressive porn, it should be somewhere in the beginning of the description.
Aside from the porn, it was well written and easy to read. I wish the ending wasn't so abrupt and rushed. The main characters trauma and the last scene could have been left out and written into another book.

it was good. not much plot though but still a good and short read. the smut was nice, not that special, and the buildup was fair. the ending was expected but not in a bad, boring way. still a good read, i wasn't expecting any plot anyways as its a literal smut novella. i would recommend to people trying to get into this genre, for them to really see if they can handle it

Short. Spicy. Hot. Epic. Wish a place like this existed, kind of. What could be better than a kink haunted house. Where any and everything could happen to you sexually. And in true Kady fashion she delivers! Between the kinks, spice and forbidden romance I fell in love. Even the dedication was perfect! If you need a palate cleanser or just a book with little plot and all spice, then this book is for you!! Please check trigger warnings before reading, there are quite a few.

This felt longer than 47 pages. I kind of wanted more of the creepy "haunted house" before we got to the raw-dogging, so I was a bit disappointed with that. If you're gonna build up this freaky haunted house experience where the attendees have to sign fricken waivers and get STI testing, then I kind of expect to at least get more than 5 seconds of the house experience.

Well….that turned crazy really fast!! Gave it three stars because it had a really good base to a story with more detail, more backstory and more lead up to romance. But I feel like she had set a goal for a short erotica story and stuck to it.
In my opinion, if she hasn’t already, she could write about Cass’ backstory and let this be a follow up erotica short.
