An exquisitely written story with extraordinary characters and a twisty storyline that captures your attention from the first chapter and keeps you hooked and turning the pages until the end. A reverse harem romance, forced proximity story, enemies-to-lovers romance, arranged marriage story, a retelling of sleeping beauty with a mafia twist with lust, passion, revenge, enemies, anger, tension, emotions, desires, obsession, deception, lies, possessiveness, treachery, drama, darkness, madness, pawn, love and so much more. Briar's dad is evil, power hungry and greedy he kills anyone just to remain powerful. Sleeping With Vengeance by Penelope Wylde is part of the Dark and Twisted Tales series. This story is a take on Sleeping Beauty but nothing is sweet and cotton-candy about this RH story. Briar Erose is the beautiful but she will do what her family wants...marry 3 men who are her family's enemy. Keller, Hensley and Loren are older than Briar but they have wanted her for years now. It has been three years since one fateful night when Briar escaped them. Now she is back they will not let her go, but will that mean their demise, after all she is out for revenge and is determined to get it at all costs.

Briar is being forced into an arranged marriage, that she doesn't want, or agree to. That's bad enough, but she is betrothed to 3 older men, Keller, Loren, and Hensley, whose family is an enemy of her family. They all want her. They wanted to hate her, but then they develop feelings and desire to protect her at any cost. Briar wants vengeance, and to break the curse of death placed on her family. Her loved one's lives are literally in her hands. This is an excellent dark twist on Sleeping Beauty.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. I enjoyed this rh and the way Penelope wraps you up in her Bratva world. Briar, Keller, Loren and Hensley's story is a twisted rh of a tale everyone knows. Overall I like how the storyline plays out. It has danger, drama, violence, enemies, vengeance and secrets to go along with the denial, strong chemistry and passion between them. The characters were good but I felt that they needed more pages. It wasn't that the story felt rushed to me, there was just more that I wanted to know. Good fit with the series

This was fantastic book. I loved Blair, and her men, Keller and Loren and Hensley. These four are ment to heat each other but all it takes is one moment for them to fall hard and fast but they have to work for the HEA and work past the enemies stage of their relationship. I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to see what Penelope has in store for us next.

This reverse harem is filled with crazy twists, family drama, curses, a blood oath, vengeance, steam, and so much more. It's a quick, twisted fairytale retelling with a Sleeping Beauty twist. The Mafia World meets the Fairy-tale one in this book. Briar (FMC) becomes a pawn for her father to barter with to lift a so called cure against her family by marrying 3 brothers - Loren, Hensley and Keller. Dangerous older men from an opposing family. Only things don't go to plan and Briar is left set on Revenge. Lies, underhand people and plenty of hot steaminess all kept me on my toes. It was a killer read that I loved reading.

This was a dark fairytale retelling romance. I loved the reverse harem take on the Sleeping Beauty story, it brought a whole different dynamic to the story. It was definitely a dark and twisted version but I loved it.

Sleeping With Vengeance by Penelope Wylde is book Two in the Dark and Twisted Tales Series. This is the story of Briar, Keller, Loren, and Hensley. Briar's father promises her to Hensley, Loren and Keller to get back what he is gonna loose. Keller, Hensley and Loren are enemies of her family but she has no choice. Enjoyed this hot read.

This is a steamy reverse harem story that has a Sleeping Beauty plot. It is a fairly short and quick read with some fascinating aspects along with intrigue. Three charming, dangerous mafia men and one determined women makes this a very interesting read. I enjoyed every it of it and really like the characters!

Briar, Keller, Loren, and Hensley light up the pages in this passion full story, retelling of sleeping beauty with a twist. You will absolutely fall in love with their perfect story. Penelope truly gave us a wonderful story in their book.
