I'm not sure what to rate this. It was kind of cute, but there were some not-so-cute moments of writing. The one that really threw me was when the Hero was basically saying he was jacking-off a lot, but it was written: "...rubbing my cock down to a nub..." I'm sorry, what? I get what you're going for there, but part of writing is helping your audience visualize what you're talking about. So I got what the author was saying, but...*shudders* That one's going to stick with me for a while. I know it's not supposed to be literal, but there are some things you just don't say. 😖

Let me begin by saying how much I enjoyed this book! So…
Ginger is our sweet innocent MFC. Oh and fun fact! She runs a sex podcast! She has been head over heels in love with Grizz since she was 14. But two years ago stoped trying to get his attention since he never appears interested in his best friends little sister. Her heart dies a little more when he finds her computer with her podcasts on it. She thought sure he would do something then..but he just walks away.
Grizz is our big, broad, muscular mountain man MMC. He was left at fourteen in a strange city by a mom who could care less for him.
He’s her brother Greer’s best friend. He’s unofficially adopted by their mom since he has no family and is at all the holiday gatherings. And he’s been in love with Ginger for over two years.
She and her brothers, Greer, Barrett, Noah and Zac, was (she unofficial) adopted by Mrs Maple and her late husband. Shes been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. They all help her mom with her Candle Shop, allowing her to keep it open even with symptoms of the disease.
Mackenzie and Susie are Gingers best friends. They come up with a plan to make Grizz notice and be jealous of Ginger.
Turns out it was a perfect plan 😁!!
Read this sweet and delicious book by an amazing author, Mia Brody. Find out all the details of these two characters story to a happy ending and what happened to get there. Ginger has a sex podcast. But, she does it in a way that no one knows who she is. Greer is her eldest brother on the farm, although she wasn’t officially adopted by Mr. & Mrs. Maple. Mr. Maple has already passed on and the Mrs. Has multiple sclerosis and the adult kids finally talked her into using a wheelchair. They all take turns caring for the farm, Mrs. Maple and her little candle shop. Her other brothers are Noah, Barrett & Zac. Zac is a celebrity. Grizz is Greer’s bestie, but Ginger has had a crush on him since she turned 14. I think that is adorable. I love how the family interacts with each other. I also love that Grizz is always around to help out as another piece of the family. I can’t wait to see Greer’s book and Rogue’s. Maybe even the other brothers too. I love all of this series. They are sweet, steamy and hot. Every single one. When Ginger takes her mom home, she forgets her tablet that has a matching case to her mom’s. They like the blinged out type and pink! However, that leads to Grizz finding it and well—- you’ll see. Lol. Grizz definitely growls a lot in the book- which is both good and bad. Lol. Ginger’s bestie is Mackenzie, Rogue’s daughter. Ginger does something outrageous to gain Grizz’s attention and boy does she ever!! Wowza. The ending is the best and I just wanted to hug everyone. Gimme the next book please!

Grizz is Ginger's older brother's friend, and they have about a decade between them. Ginger has had a crush on Grizz for 7 years, and he on her for 2 years after seeing her in a new light, even though they knew each other from childhood. Finally, after playing matchmaker to Mackenzie and Ace and getting a little encouragement from her friends, Ginger decides that she might try tricking Grizz to make him jealous and finally step forward to claim her, but he's too smart to fall for it. However it all works out, and the rest is history. Grizz is very much an alpha male, who is bossy, but sweet with Ginger.

I enjoyed the plot, with the "kidnapping", hence the title. The characters had great chemistry and their banter was amusing. I liked how each character had their own insecurities that held them back from pursuing each other, but they overcome them together. I also liked how in this story the hero is neurodiverse - Grizz admitted that he was trying to manage his depression, there aren't often stories written about such conditions and obstacles in relationships. I also liked the dual POV so you get a glimpse of what's happening on both sides.

I was so excited to read this new story from Courage County Curves and I can't wait to read more or the previous books that I've missed out! The stories are short and sweet and very sexy too.

I have been a fan of Mia Brody for at least three years. Just when I think she can’t top her last storyline she goes and does it again. Readers, this one is pure gold. I love the main characters Grizz and Ginger. Outwardly they are sweet and innocent. However, they both harbor secret scintillating secrets that will make the most prim and proper virgin go up in flames. The heart of this e-book for me is not just the age gap, insta-love angle. This story resonated much deeper with me. The main characters Grizz and Ginger have had to deal with traumatic childhoods that left them deeply emotionally scarred. Mia Brody uses her platform to bring awareness to the need for mental health reform and our main characters openly discuss their trauma, and medical treatment. This is a powerful story on so many levels and Grizz and Ginger through all of their heartache still manage to find a home within each other’s heart. Grizz and Ginger support each other and they show in a very realistic way how people can overcome tragedy. They show us how it is possible to triumph with proper medical care, therapy and with the positive love and support of others.

This whole Courage County Curves Series is a Gold Mine. Purchase the series, you will thank me later. ~QS.

Ginger’s been in love with her brother’s best friend Grizz for 7 years but thinks he sees her more as an annoying little sister than a grown woman. Meanwhile, Grizz has loved Ginger for the past 2 years but doesn’t think he’s worthy of her. Ginger decides it’s now or never to make her move, so she shows up at Grizz’s cabin pretending to be drunk and looking for a different man. Grizz knows she’s not drunk but isn’t sure what her game is. He responds by tying her to his bed and telling her she’s spending the next two days with him. Both want more than two days, but will they get what they want?

I love Mia’s books, both for how steamy, sexy, spicy and just plain hot they are and how inclusive they are. The characters in her books aren’t perfect. They have medical conditions and relatable worries and complicated pasts. In this book, Ginger’s mom has MS, Ginger has anxiety and Grizz has depression. Him speaking so candidly about it with Ginger made him that much hotter in my opinion. And it’s not just a passing reference — he discusses therapy and medication, and admits to a fear that many with mental health conditions have: What if they pass it on to their children? Ginger is reassuring but not dismissive of his concerns and that just makes the two even more relationship goals.

Highly recommend this and any of Mia’s books.

Ginger has had a crush on Grizz since she was 14 but Grizz always treats her just as his friend’s little sister, even though she is all grown up now. Unbeknownst to Ginger, Grizz has been attracted to her for a couple of years but keeps his distance because he thinks she is forbidden fruit. What does it take for Ginger to convince him that they belong together? If you’ve read any other books in this series, you know what to expect: over-the-top strong and possessive men of few words, leading ladies with sass, characters with a difficult past and serious health issues, lots and lots and lots of steamy times and a happy end, all of which were delivered here. Not my personal favourite in the series, as both Grizz and Ginger and their antics were a bit too much for me but a fun read nevertheless. I like the kind of matter-of-fact way Mia Brody handles serious topics in these books (this time child neglect, depression and multiple sclerosis for example), where you see inner strength of the characters, rather than feel sorry for them. Waiting for the next book!.

Kidnapped by the Mountain Man is book 9 in the Courage County Curves Series by Mia Brody.

Ginger has been in love with her brothers best friend Grizz for years. As far as she knows, he only thinks of her as his best friends little sister. She comes up with a plan to change all of that by showing up at his cabin, pretending to be intoxicated, and looking for another man. However, things don't exactly go according to her plan.

Grizz has been obsessed with Ginger for the past two years. He has fought his feelings, thinking he didn't deserve her. But all bets are off when she shows up at his cabin, obviously pretending to be drunk. He isn't letting her go, maybe ever.

As with the other books in this series, this one was short and steamy!! The story went a little deeper on this one as the MMC suffers from depression, but the way they addressed it was perfect. I am looking forward to the final book in the series.

Some TW about depression
Ginger has a family with her foster mother and foster brothers. They make it work. Greer, Ginger’s oldest brother is closest to her. He makes sure that she is taken care of. Greer’s best friend is Grizz. Since Ginger was 14, she had been crushing on Grizz. A couple of years ago, Grizz started noticing Ginger. Not that anyone would know because Grizz is so surly.
After Grizz finds out Ginger runs a podcast about women pleasuring themselves, he is not sure what to think. Hoping to make Grizz jealous, Ginger hatches a plan. It works a little too well. Grizz ends up keeping her for a few days and playing with her toys with her. After a few days, neither is ready to face the outside world. Ginger is afraid of what Greer will think. Grizz assures her that everything will be fine. He insists that they will be each other’s family if it comes to that.

She believed for years that he did not like her the way she liked him. Imagine the joy when they discovered the feeling was mutual. Ginger is the 21 year old sassy and curvy sister of Greer. Grizz is a 31 year old hunky, grumpy mountain man and best friend of Greer. Ginger has been in love with Grizz since she was 14. Grizz has loved her the last two years. Ginger decides to finally see how Grizz feels about her and shows up, pretending to be drunk and looking for another man for some fun. Grizz is having none of it and ties her to his bed. The two finally lay out their feelings, and it gets so hot 🔥🥵. This couple could seriously cause a forest fire. But what will Greer say? I loved this couple so much. Grizz is the sexiest, dirty-talking teddy bear ever. We also get the most amazing HEA. I can't wait for the next story in the series!.

For the last 2 years Grizz has been thinking lustful thoughts about Ginger but does not think he is worthy enough to be her man, having suffered from depression. After he sees a video from Ginger’s sex and the single girl podcast, he still manages to keep his distance, so Ginger decides to push him by turning up at his cabin pretending to be drunk and looking for another man to have sex with. This does the trick, and they get straight into some very sexy steamy action and swiftly towards their happy ending. A short, very sexy addition to this series. Maybe we might see more of Ginger’s brothers in future books.

This was such a fun romance and it brings together Grizz and Ginger. These two have been crushing on each other for years, but both have held back because of their own insecurities. Things come to a head, though, after Grizz realizes that Ginger does podcasts for women...and she may have set out to trick him into a jealous response ;P Things definitely do not go as Ginger expected when Grizz finally lets loose all that chemistry between them. Some clear communication and acceptance make this a wonderful romance and I really liked the inclusion of mental health issues. And also the twist on Ginger's podcasts and freebies ;P Expect to get caught up in the banter, kidnapping and steamy romance as these two finally get their HEA :D

Bold Ginger gets her mountain man

Kidnapped by the Mountain Man is the ninth book in the Courage County Curves series and it is a funny and filthy story, but all in the best way. The story is about Ginger and Grizz. She is the younger "sister" of Greer, who is Grizz's best friend. The backstory of the characters is heartbreaking but there is love in store for them both. Both Ginger and Grizz have been in love with each other for years now, but they both think the other is not interested and also know that they are off-limits in a big way. But when Grizz finds out exactly what Ginger does and then Bold Ginger comes out things will get wild and there may be some kidnapping involved.

That is until she accidentally leaves her laptop open and Grizz sees her true podcast of how to self pleasure yourself. This is the catalyst that causes Grizz to finally go for the woman he loves. And it helped that Ginger shows up at his home acting drunk trying to have sex. This is such a sweet, sexy, fun, fast paced, hot and steamy love story. Grizz and Ginger are a great couple and work hard to get their happy ever after.

This book is short, hot and oh so naughty. Ginger is a girl who knows what she wants, and she wants Grizz the big, brawny mountain man and her brother’s best friend. Grizz lives up to his name and growls when he talks. A little embarrassing mixup leaves Ginger feeling confused and unsure of what to do, at least at first. Then Ginger gets an idea on how to get her mountain man to claim her. A sneaky and rather naughty idea. Let’s just say that Ginger gets a whole lot more than she bargained for with Grizz. Cue the heat, the steam and the ground shaking change in their relationship.

Kidnapped by the Mountain Man is another great addition to the series. Ginger has been in love with Grizz for years. Problem is he is older than her, and her brother’s best friend. So she concocts a plan to get the guy, only it doesn’t go exactly to plan.

Grizz is the gruff mountain man who has never had a family, but Ginger’s family is as close as he’s gotten. Ginger seems like this quiet girl but she actually runs a podcast on self love. When Grizz kidnaps her they spend an incredible weekend together and put everything out on the table. Is it really kidnapping if she is a willing participant???

Love in the end conquers and Ginger gets the guy and the HEA!!

Ginger’s plan may not have worked out the way she thought it would go, but things heat up between Ginger and Griff, with him showing her a side she never imagined. She has decided to put herself out there and still have an excuse to fall back on. Instead, it backfired in the best of ways. This was a sweet, funny and still very steamy romance. I liked both the characters and what they revealed as the layers pulled back. The podcast was unique and I enjoyed that. There isn't as much standing in their way as they'd thought. The family dynamic really touched me also. MS Warrior for life. Now I'm looking forward to Rogue's story

Ginger and Grizz are amazingly right for each other. I loved their chemistry and how they worked together very well. Ginger wanted Grizz even when he was off-limits, and Grizz wanted her to be happy and didn't think he was the right guy for the job. However, he definitely was. The characters are amazing! I loved Ginger, she knew what she wanted and what she wanted was Grizz. Grizz is my favorite. The man has a dirty mouth that will have you blushing.

In short Ginger has a crush on her brother's best friend and feels not seen by him. She plans to show up apparently intoxcated at his cabin and make him kind of jealous. He also is in love with her, not showing it. But when she comes to him, he is not planning on letting her go. It is a short and steamy story, but there is a lot more going on in the side characters and the theme of depression. I enjoyed reading it and the characters.

A brothers best friend trope that I adored. Ginger has had a crush on Grizz since the age of 14. To him she was always his bffs little sister until 2 yrs ago. Attraction is mutual but never pursued until she’s had enough of his grumpiness and of him ignoring her that she resorts to make him jealous to get his attention ,little does she know he’s on to her! This is where the fun begins. A great, steamy and enjoyable read with great MCs. My heart broke for young Grizz abandoned by the person that’s meant to protect you so he specially deserved a hea.

I loved Kidnapped by the Mountain Man Book 9 of Courage County Curves. Ginger has loved Grizz for seven years but he hates her. Grizz doesn’t hate Ginger but he thinks he isn’t worthy of her but when she forces his hand he’s going to show her they are meant to be together. Hopefully her brother doesn’t hate her for going after his best friend. This is a short and sweet story, and I loved the character and how vulnerable they were with each other. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

Filthy (hot) talking Mountain Man

Whew! Our Grizz is grumpy and he’s got a filthy mouth that he saving for the woman he believes he can never have. Thank goodness he was wrong because his love story with Ginger is sweet, $exy, and forbidden.

This is a brother’s best friend story, which I loved! I’m a sucker for a forbidden romance and Mia Brody doesn’t disappoint, providing the reader with an extra dollop of kink to go with the grump.

'I think I’ve just awoken the beast.'

I loved this book. I loved the feeling of family in this story- and of course my heart hurt for Grizz's past and the effect it still has on him. The chemistry between him and Ginger was so thick you could feel it (though both were attracted to the other and didn't know the other felt the same lol). Grizz accidentally discovered Ginger's solo sex-positive podcast but still doesn't make a move on her. Determined to get him to notice her, she puts a plan in motion. This was so fun. I was positively giggling when she knocked on the "wrong door." 5 stars

Ginger has been in love with her brother’s best friend for years but she thinks he’s never noticed her. She’s devised a plan to make him notice her but like usual, it backfires. Grizz can’t stand to be near Ginger because he feels things when he’s around her and he knows he’s not worthy of her. When she shows up at his cabin though, all bets are off and he decides to let her know how he really feels. This was a steamy read with an OTT protective guy who turns into a teddy bear where his girl is concerned. I received an arc copy of this book.

Loved this addition to the series and it was a cute, steamy quick read about Ginger who has been in love with her brothers best friend Grizz for as long as she can remember but felt she’d never have a chance with him. Little does Ginger know that for the past couple of years Ginger is ALL Grizz can think about and those thoughts have been getting pretty steamy lately! What will he do when Ginger turns up to his cabin ‘drunk’ looking for someone to hook up with.

Sweet and Spicy! There is a tone of heat between Ginger and Grizz. It took great courage for Ginger to go after what she wanted, even if she went about, it the wrong way. The thoughtful details of each character made me smile. Mia Brody can give you just the details you need in her supporting characters without losing sight of the story. Grizz truth about his mental health makes him a strong and endearing MMC. The dirty talk from Grizz had be blushing. This book is sweet with high heat. Who wouldn't want to be cuffed to this mountain man's bed.
