90% smut 😍😍😍😍
Thoughts: Alaric loved to di€k down Gemma! Phew, he never let her breathe! This vampire smut story was packed with dirty mouths and filthy scenes! Alaric was kinda a jerk, but totally made up for it (as we would ONLY condone red flags in books 😉). She called his schmex dungeon the “di€k-of-doom room” 🫣😂🫣

Alaric is a 1500+ y/o vampire that is buying art. He sees Gemma and realizes she is his bl%d mate. He asks her out but she declines because she knows there is something going on with him. He tries to “mesmerize” her but it doesn’t work, because she is his mate.
So he STEALS HER to his island where he does all sorts of debauchee things to her (scenes were totally 🥵). He wants a family and only his mate can provide him with children. He literally br€€ds her for 6 days, constantly c¥mming in her til it spills out, not giving her a break. Can you say exhausted?
They have twins but Alaric is very protective of her and his family because there are people that know about vampires and other vampires that would harm his family to get to him.

A little Biting never hurt anyone.
As always this author never disappoints with her writing. Lovebite Shorts knows what her readers love to read and she delivers as always. As someone who is getting more and more into the paranormal, I loved this book.
We meet Alaric who is looking for a painting he wants to add to his collection. When he visits a gallery to collect the painting he bought, he comes across Gemma, his blood mate. With a plan in place, he knows he has to have her and keep her.
As Ms. Shorts said in the forewarning, this book is roughly 90% smut and 10% plot. The connection between Alaric and Gemma is electrifying. Alaric is dominant and definitely keeps Gemma on her toes or knees depending on his mood. The interaction with the brothers has me chuckling. I enjoyed every word of this book. Can’t wait for Damien’s and Christian’s book because by the look of things it’s going to get darker which is Ms. Shorts’ elements. If you love a good insta love smutfest book, this one is for you.

Less Plot, More Spice. That was enough of an enticement for me. At 184 pages, I knew I had time to read Lovebite Shorts’ “Alaric’s Hidden Gem.” Alaric is a vampire along with his two vampire brothers, and they’re in Scotland when he finds his mate, Gem. And like other books by this author, readers will expect some extreme measures Alaric takes when he interacts with Gem. Alaric may be hundreds of years old, but he’s like the energizer bunny. Take heed of the TW/CWs. It’s dark, short, and spicy.
