Susan Heck is a wonderful example of a follower of Christ faithfully and intentionally living out the commands in scripture. In this booklet on discipleship she shares what discipleship is and that it *is* a command for all believers to be doing. She also shares a bit of how she disciples...how she does it is not law! and she says that in essence. Many people think discipleship is to be done a specific programmed way and unfortunately many don't disciple or seek to be discipled because of this legalistic way of thinking. I appreciate Susan's laid-back, genuine way of communicating biblical truths. There's no fluff, that's a good thing. If you want to be encouraged to disciple read this very short booklet and then find someone to disciple (teach a younger woman how to live out the scriptures) or someone to disciple you.

Very encouraging book on discipleship. I hope that more women (myself included) and convicted to pursue discipleship as it is commanded in scripture.

6/14/2022 * 3.5 stars, rounded down to 3 because I didn't think it was a 4 star booklet.

Short, good little booklet on women discipling younger women. Makes several good points.

This book was like a breath of fresh air on the matter of discipleship and its need within the church, specifically on older women discipling younger women. Very quick read, I finished it in one sitting. I know I’ll be referencing this resource plenty throughout my days.

This is a great booklet that may be concise, but it packs a punch. Heck lays the foundation of why we need biblical discipleship and provides brief and clear instructions as to how we can go about it in our churches.
