What a naughty fabulous book!
You know when you read a book that has so much potential and you can see it becoming a great series!? That's this book! I do hope this author continues this series for many more books!

Jude is a demon tracker the most powerful of them all and he is being held captive by a crazy vampire (Lana) who likes to play games with her pets, very sexual games! She needs to have sex with Jude but for some reason his body doesn't cooperate! What Lana doesn't know is Jude has a curse on him that makes it impossible for him to have sex with anyone but his mate!
Clarissa is a witch and she must find her friend Faede, so she lets herself be captured in hope of finding her friend but, what she finds is so much more!!
Even though this book was on the short side I still LOVED IT! The writing was yummy, the characters there were amazing, and oh my was it naughty!!
Please say there will be more!

Okay, I've been a bad Danny again and forgot to read the blurb. I went in there completely blind and came out of there blinded! You know me Erotica is not my style. Graphic sex scenes for the sake of sex scene is just not my style. I need romance, I need feelings, I need a motivation, a purpose. I just want to be appreciated damn it!

Ms Allen somehow decided to make a convert out of me and created this world with seven realms where us Mortals are at the bottom of the food chain, typical weak people we are...but let's not dwell on that, we're not interesting enough. Instead let's go to The Dark Realm, I heard very good thing about this place. They have this vampiress called Lana, she's a bit of a nympho and is totally into slavery.  But like Jude, our hero and one of Lana's victims said "Vampires were Unnatural." 

Jude was cursed by a feminist wicked witch (I love her and her curses. She should put them on all the men), he can get it up but he can't get it in until he finds his mate. Hell yeah that's good! You can't make that stuff up! Wait...Siren Allen did. Did I mention that his mate Carissa uses energy from lust to power her abilities. Who's been  a busy mate? Ha! Love it!

So you have an eager to please Lana (It's not happening lass, it's really not you it's HIM), twenty years Blue Balls Jude and succubus-like Carissa.  There you have it, romance, feelings, motivation, purpose and a lot of appreciation!
The reasons it's not 5 stars up there:

Tease: I needed more. I felt cheated at the end (wink)
Envy: I too want a man who would kick everybody out of the room/cell because he just has to have me NOW...the second we actually meet. That kind of shit never happens in the Realm of Mortals!

Lovers Unchained is the first installment of Curse of the Black Witch series. This exciting story starts off with an enslaved cursed demon named Jude. Don’t worry he’s hot with a capital H. In his time being enslaved he is sexually exploited by a sexy demanding vampire Lana. During the steamy torturing she becomes more and more obsessed with Jude. Lana resorts to tricking Jude with another woman. The other woman ends up being Jude's soul mate. In the discovery Jude is desperate to escape with his mate. In the process acquires a few friends that help him along the way. Friends he will depend on to succeeding in his plan of revenge, and escape.

I enjoyed this story. It had sex, mystery, and an angry revenge seeking demon. In the story you are taken to a setting of mythical proportions with sexy scenes. Siren Allen defiantly has a knack for detail. Her scenes are sexy and creative. I would have liked a little stronger of a story, but the steamy parts in between make up for it, which is why I gave it a three and a half kiss rating. This book gave me enough to want to see what happens in book two of the series. The ending gives you a sense there is lots of adventure yet to be seen.

Lover’s Unchained is the story of a Demon, Jude, who has been captured by the Vampiress Lana. Lana finds herself obsessed with finding out how Jude is able to become sexually aroused yet when it comes to intercourse he is unable to ‘perform’.
This is a sexually explicit book from the beginning and had my Kindle steaming up on more than one occasion. Although the book has a lot of sex scenes it doesn’t take anything away from the storyline. I found myself drawn in to the book and read it in one sitting.
I love the connection between the characters and found myself holding my breath for them in parts. The book flows nicely and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
This is a page turner and keeps you on your toes and the edge of your seat.

Wowza!!! That's the word that comes to mind when I think about describing this book!
Absolutely not for younger readers and it may even make some adults blush!

Sometimes in steamy books, plots can get muddled and lost just for the sake of a tumble, this one is not in that category. The story line is fantastic! I want to know more about Jude & Carrisa, I need to know how Cole is!
I just need to know more!
We find nearly the whole cast of characters being held prisoner by Lana, I want to see her get it too!
Poor Jude is just trying to do his job and he has to deal with Lana and her nympho-self. It seems to me she has a spoiled rich-girl act down pat and someone needs to take her down a peg! My money is on Carissa!!!
Go go go go go read this!!!

Love this book! I love the concept of the story. It's also easy to read and understand.
I also loved the characters, they are easy to relate with and easy to get attached to them.

About the story, I love how the author made the story interesting and full of surprises.
The twist and turns made the story more interesting and fun to read. I love how the setting was created, you can easily imagine and picture the place out. The characters are really interesting, not only the major characters but also the minor characters especially the villain(s). Lana's personality will really made you hate her. The author really did a great job making her character effective.

I am happy to tell that this book is worth to read if you are looking for a good erotica, and paranormal book.

Lovers Unchained is my first erotica novel I have read and I liked it.

I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review. Though the sex was smokin' it was the paranormal aspect I liked the most. There were so many different beings and I loved that Siren actually used the gifts they possess.

Fans of paranormal/erotica should definitely read this book.

Vampires, Demons and Witches oh my. I enjoyed this little story, of course I hate that it left me hanging at bit at the end. Getting over that part as I said I liked it. A world of different realms that are looked over by guardians.

First of all, I must offer a disclaimer. I am not into fantasy or paranormal books, TV series or movies. I don't have anything against this kind of genre, I don't look down on it, I think it's totally valid and I understand its popularity. But it just doesn't do anything for me. For example, after an initial fun start I found True Blood to be infuriating and dull, while I only sat through one interminable slice of Lord of the Rings because I was promised sexual favours if I did so.siren

It's not that I don't have the vampire fetish that many of us have these days. I think vampires can be extremely hot, and there is something inescapably sexual about blood-sucking. And yet... I can't quite remember ever really loving a vampire movie (apart from The Lost Boys, obvs) and, until now, I have never read a vampire book.

However, one of the reasons for starting this blog was to explore new things - to open my mind and really delve into the vast array of erotica out there. Recently I decided it was time to dip into a bit of supernatural erotica, and that's how I ended up reading this wonderfully fun and sexy story by the excellent Siren Allen.

In truth, Lovers Unchained is a tantalising introduction to what I expect to be a vast, roaming series through various fantasy realms, involving plenty of beguiling inter-creature sex. Our star is Jude, a powerful demon who has been laid low by a curse and is now entrapped by a beautiful, powerful vampire called Lana, who uses him every day for sex... except she never gets any actual penetration because he goes limp every time she tries to mount him. This drives Lana wild, and while she is intent on killing him eventually, she becomes obsessed with discovering why her charms will not work when it comes to a proper fuck. You can't blame her - anyone would get bored of giving a demon head every day and not getting anything back in return.

Into the mix are several more intriguing characters - Bruce, Lana's apparently faithful servant; Carissa, a beautiful being who has an immediate connection with Jude; and Cole, a vampire who swings both ways. The action is mainly confined to Lana's lair, with helpful bits of history thrown in as the story develops and as we get get to know the characters more fully. This creates an enjoyably claustrophobic atmosphere throughout the book - the reader knows that there are huge, exciting realms out there to find out about, yet Siren keeps us, and Jude, locked in this tiny area, offering only tiny glimpses of the outside worlds.

Siren also does a fantastic job at introducing the different creatures - vampires, demons, ghouls (who seem particularly rancid and evil) and others, so that even a relative novice in the genre like me can understand their powers, thoughts and actions without any trouble.

And overall, it's a lot of fun. What I particularly enjoyed was that we are given these well-drawn characters - the wicked Lana, the sumptuous Jude, the sensual Carissa - all of whom have huge pressures and important quests that need to be dealt with, and yet they are all obsessed, hamstrung and all-consumed by sex. They can't help themselves. They regularly get busy with creatures they despise and even when locked in solitary cells they engage in noisy mutual masturbation. It all makes me wonder how things will go in future books: can they get their hands out of each other's pants for long enough to achieve their important non-sexual goals? Just how many hours a day can Jude sustain his mammoth erection? Is Carissa's essence sweet enough to sweeten your morning coffee?

I don't normally comment on my star marks, but I will here. This is a well-written book, I like the characters and the sex is great. But despite all that, I'm not a paranormal convert. It's just not 'for' me. And for that reason, I've knocked one star off - but this is based purely on personal preference. If you like a bit of supernatural in your erotica, or a bit of erotica in your supernatural, I guarantee you'll love this and will be begging Siren to hurry up with Book 2.

The author had me hooked from the beginning of the page all the way through until the end of the book. When I was asked to review this book I immediately said yes because of the cover (everyone that knows me will know I love covers) and of course it has to do with Paranormal erotic. I mean who would not be pulled into a book by a cover that is about a curse and shows a women with chains (you know it has to be good).

As you begin to read you are taken to a little of the back story of what is going on in the Dark Witch's mind. There are seven mirrors that lead to seven different realms. The author makes sure to give you some but not too much detail to take away from the whole book and what this one is entailed for. However, you can tell that it is all for a bigger scene, the Dark Witch definitely has something up her sleeve.

Within the first chapter you are right away pulled into a scene between an sexually crazed vampires who is not only the Ruler of the Dark Realm, but also who gets an enjoyment from enslaving mortals and immortals to use as pets. Her latest pet being Jude, which she has become obsessed with him and his abilities to resist her when she is trying to make love to him, little does she know about a curse that was put on him. Jude is a Demon who has lived for the last twenty years dealing with a curse and not being able to get enjoyment from a women's body until he found his mate. After being enslaved for a year in Lana's prison, she has decided to take another measurement by bringing in a new "mortal" slave Clarissa. Clarissa is on the search for her friend Faede, and has allowed herself to get captured; only Lana has different plans for her. My favorite character is Cole, I loved the way he was introduced and also because of the way his mind setting works. Trust me the way that the author forms all of these characters together is perfect plot and continuous series.

Siren Allen to me put together an amazing book with some mystery (which I can't wait to find out), characters that just make you want to be on the opposite of the steamy scenes, and also all those that should be in a good Paranormal book (witches, vampires, demons, and more). This book is part of a series and you know that after reading it the author has plans to keep going. I really hope that I see more of Cole. This book was amazing, I want more and cannot wait until the next installment is out.

This was a fast and hot read. I’ve read lots of paranormal books, but this book was fascinating. Siren Allen didn’t pussyfoot around with the action and she didn’t shy away from using and imagining different paranormal “races” and their sexcapades. In fact, there wasn’t a single “mortal” in the book. Oh wait, there was a mention of one called Beth, but that’s all. I love the world that Siren Allen has created with the different realms and she gave just enough of each realm to have you wondering where future books will go. The synopsis is a great overview of the book, but the characters and the dialogue draw you in and have you on the edge of your seat, squirming and panting.
Lana, the sex crazed vampiress, is an evil bitch but I sort of liked her. She didn’t make excuses for her actions and her confusion over Jude’s inability to have sex with her was endearing to me. You gotta admire a horny broad who will stop at nothing in order to figure out why someone would reject her.
Carissa and Jude. Oh boy. The chemistry was electric and instantaneous. They are well matched as mates and I look forward to future installments and seeing how their relationship evolves past built in desire for each other. And speaking of desire, I’m a little in love with Carissa’s friend, Faede. She’s not only a super cool paranormal chick, but she looked past her mate’s wrongdoings and I loved the way she loved her mate. I’d tell you who her mate is, but some things are best left to finding out on your own.
Lovers Unchained is the first in a series titled, Curse of the Dark Witch, and I will be impatiently waiting for the next one. Fast paced action, likable characters, and scorching hot sex mixed with a paranormal world, a Dark Witch with secrets, and an author who can write about it all like she’s preaching the Word and you have Lovers Unchained. Read this book. Seriously.

This book is one HOT smoking chains of fire. The words on the pages will make you want to look away in fear, they will burn your eyes out. The book is that hot, people.
Lovers Unchained is a really quick fun creative read. It takes you on a magical twisted dark journey of Jude, Carissa, Lana, Bruce, and Faede. its written in the third person mainly focusing on Jude, Lena and Carissa's POV we also get small snap shots into Bruce's mind. Which allows us to understand him and his actions a little more.
I love paranormal especially when it's mixed with erotica like this one.
The story has a good flow, well written and to the point.
I will definitely be looking out for book two. Siren wrote some pretty cool crazy characters that I came to really like and the story is unfinished and I want to know how their story will progress.
If you love paranormal then this will be right up your street and smut lovers you will be in seven heaven.

ude, Carissa, Cole, Bruce, Faed, and many others have been kidnapped and are now held prisoners in the Dark Realm at the mercy of a sexually domineering and cruel vampiress. Jude, a cursed demon, has survived a year in Lana’s domain, but everything changes when he meets his soul-mate. Now the freedom he has dreamed of is more vital and their escape must happen before it’s too late for all of them.

I am absolutely in love with all of these characters. This is a short, erotic, paranormal, novella that is also full of a lot of action and romance. The steam is on full-blast, but the story is not lost within that cloud of eroticism. I’ll be hanging on the edge of my seat, waiting for the next installment in this series!

Recommended for: 21+ due to graphic eroticism
