Lovely accordian style book of butterflies - count them! This book is meant to be read from the back to the front like other Japanese books and is so beautiful. Even the endpapers are exquisite. Each page is a delight in colors from blue to yellow to white to rainbow. Unusual binding and presentation.

This is a beautifully crafted art book with many colourful butterfly woodcut prints. Its binding is also very interesting, more like a paper accordion without a spine than a book. Plus, the short introduction - the recounting of a dream in which butterflies appear as dancing women - is quite sweet.
