HOLIDAY BULLETS is a wonderful story, so much more than just holiday fluff! I enjoyed the complex mystery, and, oh, how I do love these characters! I reviewed a free Advance Reader copy of this book with no strings attached.
I love the characters in this series and this one was so good. Seeing Tom and Elizabeth and Tamantha building something together while reaching out to others made it really a Christmas special story in many neat ways.
Elizabeth is asked to solve the mystery of a Christmas ornament tinged with murder. Not the usual type of crime Elizabeth and her cohorts solve, but it’s a mystery nonetheless and Elizabeth uses her investigative skills to put the story together.
This mystery was excellent as it involved love and not just Tom and Elizabeth but past generations. Christmas was the central theme in many ways but the story had secrets which finally came out to a select few and lives were made better for it!
I have really enjoyed this series. Book 13 begins to tie up loose ends and introduces a new significant character. New story lines must await the reader in Book 14.
Another fast paced, strongly written story about characters we've long learned to love, with both a worthy 'mystery' and some very touching moments. I highly recommend this whole series (start from the beginning: you won't be sorry!)
