La historia tenía todo lo que me gusta en un romance shifter pero...

•Esta destinada a ser un descargo personal no para que alguien más lea pero si lo haces y te ofende, me disculpo porque sé lo que es que te guste un libro y otros lo critiquen.
The Wolf’s Pregnant Mate de Lyra Atlas Serie Stardust Hollow Wolves libro 2
Argumento:
El enemigo me derribó.
Mi manada esperaba que siguiera siendo virgen. Pero luego me solté por una noche con un extraño.
No sabía que él es el enemigo y el territorio prohibido.
Ahora soy una marginada embarazada. Y el enemigo quiere reclamarme.
Estoy desterrada de mi manada y no tengo adónde ir.
Entonces, cuando el papá de mi bebé insiste en que me quede en su casa, no tengo muchas opciones.
Su actitud distante me dice que lo hace por obligación.
Pero sus manos errantes me dicen que su lobo quiere reclamarme.
Intento mantener la calma, pero el calor entre estas paredes me hace arder.
Arde de deseo y anhelo incontrolado por su cuerpo.
Arde por su toque burlón y sus promesas tácitas.
Pero todavía está prohibido, así que cuando me encuentre secuestrada, atada y amordazada... ¿me dejará arder sola?
Mi humilde opinión:
The Wolf’s Pregnant Mate es un romance paranormal, cambiaformas lobo, aventura de una noche y bebé sorpresa.
La historia tenía todo lo que me gusta en este tipo de romance y sucedían cosas que me mantenían leyendo, recelos, peligro, manadas enfrentadas, villano bien malo, acción, lucha con lobos pero...
Perdí la cuenta de las veces en que la protagonista Tala pidió disculpas o dio las gracias. Al principio tenía una personalidad fuerte, una mujer independiente pero cuando queda embarazada cambió y vi otra personalidad distinta. No es que este mal pero no era la misma del principio. No se cuenta mucho de su vida, solo que fue desterrada de su manada y no conocía el sentido de la lealtad y amor, una familia unida. Me hubiera gustado ver más de ella adaptándose a una manada a la que no pertenecía.
Michael era un amor de hombre, no el típico lobo rudo de temer sino que era cariñoso, protector y dulce. Cuando tuvo que defender a Tala no se detuvo. No se dejó manipular por su ex Bailey o el que dirán y peleó a muerte por ella cuando la secuestraron. Me pregunté porque tardó tanto en llegar la manada para ayudarlos, no le vi sentido a todo el tiempo que pasó desde que Michael rescata él solo a Tala.
A lo largo de la historia estuve un poco desconcertada. Sentí que hubo un poco de relleno, otro de diálogos repetitivos, también encontré falta de explicaciones y de lógica. Por momentos tuve ganas de pasar página para llegar a lo bueno.
En el hospital había una doctora que era cambiaformas pero cómo funcionaba eso en un lugar donde también trabajaban humanos? Si lobos iban al hospital, a nadie le parecía extraño esta gente? Cómo lo mantenían en secreto para mantener a salvo la manada? Michael entró desnudo y ensangrentado con Tala inconciente en sus brazos. Lo más lógico es que un doctor llamara a la policía o hicieran preguntas.
Me faltó más para sentir que estaba leyendo un romance cambiaformas además de la enemistad y cambiar al animal. No había reclamo o el sentimiento mágico de una pareja destinada que es lo que esperaba. Me pregunté cómo era que Michael podía hablarle telepáticamente a Tala si no tenía un vínculo especial con él ni tampoco pertenecía a su manada, o los lobos podían comunicarse telepáticamente con cualquier lobo?
En cuanto a la relación romántica, me contaron y no me mostraron. Necesité más momentos de ella y Michael para un mejor progreso de su relación porque no me pareció que llegaron a conocerse. De todas formas todo fue dulce con sus momentos de steamy pero realmente esperé más.
En general la historia estuvo bien pero con algunas cosas floja.

Tala is a strong, independent she-wolf who isn’t afraid to say it how it is, when her boyfriend jilts her, she goes out to have fun.
Michael is playing pool with his fellow pack member when he sees Tala and feels a pull towards her. After many beers, they spend a great time together, parting without exchange phone numbers.
After her night out, Tala is banished from her pack and has to go out on her own and she is not doing well. When she finds out she’s pregnant, she goes back to find and inform Michael of his coming baby.
Michael takes Tala in and is excited about the baby, but not all the pack is as excited and make their feelings very clear.
I loved Tala and Michael’s story, theirs is not as straight-forward as I am sure they would have wished, but it sure made for a great story: there is betrayal, anger, loyalty and of course romance, all of which make this such a compelling read which I can happily recommend.

Another enjoyable read in the Stardust Hollow Wolves series. This wolf shifter enemies to lover romance story were about Tala and Michael from rival packs. It's an engaging read about Michael who met Tala during a night out at a bar with his pack. They have a night of passion which has consequences for Tala. Tala is forced out of her pack and goes to Michael who takes her in. Is Michael caring for her for duty or love? I liked the characters and the chemistry between them, and the storyline was interesting to read in this copy I'd received and volunteer to review.

A female wolf shifter from a rival pack has a one night stand with the male beta of a rival pack. She is struggling to make ends meet after being banished from her pack. The male beta wolf can't forget about the one night stand that he had. You will have to read the book to find out what all happens to everyone. There is a kidnapping, A pack war and so much more happening in this story. Happy reading!

Quite exciting story! Michael has grown in self confidence and acceptance of his role as a pack beta. Pregnant and cast out of her pack, Tala seeks help from Michael. Conflict mars their progression as assaults are made against them and the pack.

Enjoyed
It was good. I enjoyed it. Didn't have any troubles getting through it. Tala and Michael are fighters and it's nice they get their hea after Tala's crazy baggage of a pack gets dealt with. Michael is amax9ng and supportive mate. He serves his mate and protects fiercely.

Zwei unglaubliche Protagonisten, sie sind authentisch beschrieben, man kann sich in beide sehr gut hineinversetzen und ihre Handlungen sind klar nachvollziehbar.
Das Setting passt perfekt zur Story und ist sehr anschaulich beschrieben, man hat sofort alles vor Augen beim Lesen.
Die beiden sind von Natur aus doch sehr unterschiedlich, sie die starke Frau, die genau weiß was sie will und er will es allen recht machen und vergisst sich selber dabei.
Tala und er stammen aus verschiedenen Rudeln und sind im Grunde Feinde und doch kommt es zwischen den beiden zu einem One-Night-Stand. Als ihr Alpha es herausfindet, wird Tala aus dem Rudel verbannt. Michael der Beta seines Rudels findet es heraus und will ihr zur Seite stehen und ihr helfen. Tala findet heraus, dass sie schwanger ist. Wie wird es nun weiter gehen. Die beiden Rudel sind sich nicht grün, wird es eine Chance für beide geben?
Eine unglaubliche Story, die mich von der ersten Seite an voll in den Bann gezogen hat, ich wollte unbedingt wissen wie es beide hinbekommen werden und was sie alles gemeinsam erleben. Es hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt es in einem Rutsch zu lesen.
Eine ganz klare Kauf-Leseempfehlung.
Die 5 Sterne gebe ich sehr gern und freu mich schon auf den nächsten Teil.

The basic story was good, but the shifter aspect was contradictory and lackluster. For example, since when can one shifter talk to another shifter telepathically who is not of the same pack nor a bonded mate.
