Disappointed in the price of this paperback and the quality of the new cover. I don’t mind paying 16 dollars if the book is done well but since the author doesn’t always use Amish first and last names for her Amish characters its always been hard to tell who was amish or non amish and in this book it bothered me more than others. I wont be looking for anymore in this series.

Samantha Price has written a wonderful new book, Amish Buggy Murder: Amish Cozy Mystery (Ettie Smith Amish Mysteries Book 27).

Again, Samantha has given us a wonderful adventure with our friends, Ettie and Elsa-Mae. This sister team is something else!

This time, the girls stumble on the murder of one of the local buggy makers and stumble upon a stolen buggy ring all while trying to help their friend, Detective Kelly, “solve” the crime.

This read grabs you at the start and want let go. These girls are just too much. Always just one step ahead of real trouble, The characters add so much to this story and you don’t want to put down their crazy adventures. You can’t help but love them.

If you love Cozy mysteries, you need to order this 5-star book today.

I was given an ARC by the author, but was not required to leave a review. All opinions are my own.

4.5 rounded up…I always get this series on Kindle Unlimited and have read all of the series so far. This is my favorite of Samantha Price’s series by far, mostly because I like the banter between the two elderly sisters. The mysteries are usually good too, and I usually like the other characters. I don’t think I liked this one quite as well because I kind of figured it out early, which is unusual. I also think as smart as the sisters are, they are more than a little naive putting themselves into bad situations that they should have thought better of ahead of time. There are also several points where I think it would have been most helpful for them to report their findings to the Detective, but they did not. But still, overall a fun and always quick read. I’m glad it is available on Kindle Unlimited too.

In the continuing saga of Ettie and Elsa-May, the sisters continue to have a way of getting in some dangerously tight spots in offering their services to Detective Kelly as amateur detectives helping to solve crimes. Despite threats of danger and death, the banter between the two provides just the right touch of humor to keep the reader engaged in their ongoing antics, a tribute to the author’s writing skills, hoping for a “next” in the series! I was given a copy of this book by the author and am leaving my own honest review.

Another cute mystery starring Ettie and Elsie-May.  These two sisters find themselves right in the middle of murder investigation.

Both have had very close calls while they are snooping around.  I thought for sure that they were goners this time.

With the help of Detective Kelly, they connect the dots and identify the murderer.  It is not always who you think it will be.

I enjoy reading Samantha Price's books.  I know that I won't be offended in anyway.  Her characters are a delight.

I received this book to review.

Fun book

Another good book of Ettie and her sister Elsa-May. They always seem to be around when something happens. And then have to put their good detective work to good use. It's always fun following them as they discover clues and evidence and sometimes get themselves in trouble.

I do like this series! These Two sisters are so funny with each other. The author didn't seem to allow Ettie and Elsa-Mae to get as involved with Detective Kelly this time. The ladies seemed to jump all over the place. Is that due to their age, due you suppose?

Amish Buggy Murder

As all the other books of this series this book is entertaining and quite witty. I like the mild bickering of the sisters. It reminds me of my own sister and me. Looking forward to reading the next story.

Love for Ettie

Great return of Ettie and Elsa-Mae. Good suspense as to who the murderer was and why. Lots of intrigue and surprises. Love how Ettie figures things out.

This one kept me guessing until the very end! I did not expect the villain to be who it turned out to be, and wow what a close call for Ettie and Elsa-May! Great Book!

This one seemed to have too many side characters, and I missed the scenes with the Amish community. Barely one scene with Jeremiah. This didn’t even seem like an Amish story.
