There will be a happily ever after at the end of the book.
Celeste Night detests writing in third person , so…. I am a romance author living somewhere outside of Birmingham, AL with my husband, two children, two dogs, three cats, and a partridge in a pear tree. I studied psychology in undergrad and thought I was going to be a therapist. Even when I was young, I would weave crazy stories and as I grew older dabbled in fan fiction. I never imagined that I would write a novel, much less publish it, so the journey has been amazing! My relationship with the infamous Mr. Night was ripped straight out of the pages of a book (complete with angst and drama) and one day I might fictionalize that. I love morally gray (sometimes morally black) men and memes. When I’m not plotting imaginary murders or dreaming up my next favorite book boyfriend, I enjoy reading and playing video games (looking at you Stardew Valley). My favorite holiday is Halloween and my favorite color is black. I love possums because I also wake up screaming each morning.

I needed a day to sit with my thoughts before I wrote a review, I felt this book deserved.
I sit here with tears still in my eyes thinking how I can possibly write such a small review to not give anything away, about an amazing book....heck series that seriously has meant so much to me.
I connected with each and every character in this book from start to finish....even the one man I didn't care for very much lol (if you know you know). So when I saw that one of the main characters weren't going to make it in the book, I tried to prepare my heart to be broken. But I promise, no matter how much you prepare, your heart will break, and you will feel empty. But I promise that I truly believe it's how the story was meant to go from the get-go (if you've read the series, you will know why).
We start up where book 2 left off. Ivy being married off. But it doesn't go the way it should (way to go Ivy!!! love her). Now, all her men, including Caleb will have to do everything they can to protect Ivy from the battle that's up ahead. When I tell you that Ivy has an army standing beside her through it all, I'm not kidding. It made my heart so happy, especially knowing where she started at in book 1. Sacrifices are made, hearts are broken, and the masked man from the end of book 2 is finally revealed (wait until you find out who this f*&ker is!!!!) This for me was a non hea/hea that was beautifully written in a tragic way. You feel the emotions coming off the pages from what the author wrote, and that is why this will be my top read of 2024 hands down.
Celeste....you wrote a beautiful series, with amazing characters, amazing stories and it all ended exactly how it was supposed to. I'm so proud of you 🖤.
I highly recommend this read. Please check TWs before reading and please also read the Authors Notes before reading also. Also remember, your mental health is important and always reach out if you need help. 🖤
I am beyond myself right now. I just finished the final book. This series has taken me on the most emotional journey. The highs were high and the lows were low. Celeste you wrapped it up beautifully! I am going to leave it like that for fear I may expose and ruin it for readers. I now need a bubble bath, some wine (whine) and a breather. Again.. oh my heart… just wow.. thank you Celeste.
I never write reviews, but I’m currently been sitting with this ending and couldn’t not write out the linger feelings I have. Every time I thinking of the last half of this book my heart breaks a bit more. I read the authors note and thought about not finishing it but pushed forward. I almost wish I hadn’t, but thankful for the author to share this when she almost didn’t. This one will stick with me.
To be at the end of this series truly makes me so sad. I loved all of these characters and watching their growth and love grow. This book was written so truly perfect with such strong emotion from the characters. This was such a beautifully tragic end that took me through so many emotions. It's much a great book.
Ivy's worst nightmare has come to life. To save her family, she sacrifices her happiness to marry Abraham, only it ends in her getting retribution for everything he put her through.
After the events of the wedding, Ivy's mind spirals into chaos. Niko, Cam, Trey, and Caleb know what it is that she's going through. They themselves have been in her position. However, they are feeling immense guilt for what they have put her through.
Hunter, Ivy's brother, under the guise of darkness, moves her and their family out of Clearhaven to somewhere safe, uprooting the stability of the children. There clearly was no choice. They needed to plan and act before anyone else is put at risk.
No sooner are they settled, that Ivy begins to feel unwell. She already suspects what is going on with her, but once it is confirmed, a new kind of fear settles over her. She comes to accept her pregnancy as a blessing, and her guys feel the exact same way.
In one night, everything changes when Luthor, Caleb's cousin pays an unexpected visit, there location is compromised, and Ivy's life is at risk again, only this time Luthor pays for his grave mistake.
To get ahead of The Order, Caleb proposes that he and Ivy get married. Being as Caleb is a direct link, they're of the belief his marriage will deter them. On can only hope.
Ivy, Niko, Cam, Trey, and Caleb are on the move again. They're determined to keep their family safe at all costs. It's time for recourse.
When they learn the location of a party being held by The Order do they spring into action, everything is going right, until everything goes wrong, and in the cover of darkness to they lose one of thier own.
Grief is insurmountable. The loss of Camden hurts them all, especially Ivy. Hunter helps them to come to terms with their loss, doing what he can to support his sister and her family.
Ivy knows she has more to live for, with the life growing inside of her, she has to stay strong, because when she learns who her baby's father is, she is determined to push through her pain no matter what.
The Order are relentless in their pursuit of Ivy. They will not give her up. When they make contact, she responds. She sacrifices herself yet again for the sake of Cam. Yet Ivy is lulled into a false sense of security when she learns they have her other brother Rhyker. She comes to the realisation that Camden is actually gone. But moreso, reconciling the fact that Detective Ross is her nightmare comes to life.
In order to get on his grandfathers good side, Caleb steps back into a life he swore he put behind him. With Ros by his side, they both play their roles well, so much so his grandfather does not realise he has been deceived. They are one step closer to Ivy.
They infiltrate a clandestine meeting of The Order, where everything is laid out on the table. Questions are asked, and answers are given. Change is a coming, but first, they must get their girl.
Now comes the stage of healing. Everyone draws on the hurt and pain that they have all endured. They come to rely on each other's strengths as they move forward with their lives.
Ivy, Niko, Trey, and Caleb settle into their lives, finally making decisions for their future, one's they know will make Cam very proud.
However, Ivy hadn't exorcised her pain, Rayne, her brother Hunter's girlfriend helped her to accept her pain. With the birth of her and Camden's son Phoenix, does she find her peace and her happily ever after with her family.
Highly recommend both the author and the book.
Like all book series, they must come to an end eventually, and Celeste Night couldn't have written a better ending for Ivy and her guys.
However, those smexy scenes were downright steamy, spicy, and scintillating hot. Pain, pleasure, and passion go hand in hand, and Niko, Trey, and Caleb will do everything to keep their girl sated and satisfied.
it’s been several months since i read this book and unfortunately i still have a lot to say. in theory this book should be 4 stars. however i cannot justify that with the way this ended. i was prepared for something given the authors note but not that. i really do believe the author should’ve scraped the book and just left it with the 2 instead of ending it here.
this is something i think about constantly because it was so mind blowing and messed up.
if you’re looking for a nicely wrapped book to finish this series, stop while your ahead. this book will wreck you and keep you up all night sobbing over it.
This book and series has my heart. I absolutely loved it! I don't even have the words to express my feelings. Just know that it is fantastic and needs to be read. It is obvious that Celeste poured her heart into this one, and I broke down more than once. There are triggers, so be sure to check those before diving in. I will always recommend this series. This third book had me in my feelings, and I cried so hard.
Dear lord girly Way to Bring out all my emotions !! Spicy as hell, Sad as hell I legit cried :-( won’t give anything away. But I literally couldn’t put this down , this book was sooooo good probably one of my favorite by this author whom I love so much.. Go read wow so good Caleb, Niko Trey and cam ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Celeste Night is an amazing author and this Book 3 of The Forsaken Series proves she is a master of her craft and deserves all the praise there is. Her beautifully crafted world, full of trauma, tragedy, heartbreak and ultimately triumph is only second to the characters that grace the pages. These characters who will break your heart and leave you gasping for air, are full of truth, emotion and have a sense of honesty to them that allows you into their most treasured and scarred moments. I loved this series and theis book was the culmination of so many moments and is just wow.
I read the Author's Note and that too had me gripping the book. Thank you Celeste for an amazing book and an outstanding series. I cannot wait to see what you release next but what I do know is that it will be worth the wait and will exceed all my reading pleasures.
This book was nothing short of amazing! The perfect ending to their beautiful tragedy. This will absolutely break your heart in the beginning but slowly put it back together by the end.
The end of the Forsaken trilogy was a year in the making. Ivy, Cam, Niko, Trey and Caleb have been through hell. Will they survive the last test? Can they escape with all they hold dear? I cried, a lot. This books will give you everything to believe in their ever after.
This is Ivy's last book in the series andman do they have lots of struggles. While trying to take down the order and get some of their lives back. We have loss and mystery and everything in between. We get a some what HEA
An absolute amazing read!! I have loved this series from page 1. This book has an amazing story and characters, and my emotions were all over the place and I did cry a few times. I'm sad the series is over but it ended so good!!!
Excellent read. Perfect way to end a dramatic series. Not drawn out. There wasn't a way NOT to fall in love with the characters. And cry......!! Absolutely one of the better series I have read recently. One that I actually wanted to finish. Great ending!!!!!!!!
CAMDEN DESERVED BETTER, WHY COULDNT HE KS REVIVE FROM THE DEAD OR SURPRISE THEM NOOOOOOOO,LIKE I GET HE WAS AN ASSHOLE TO IVY BUT HE DID NOT DESERVE TO DIE AND WE NEED A BOOK FOR THE KID,WOULDVE GIVEN IT A 5 star if CAMDEN WAS ALIVE
This book waa heavy. Grief throughout the whole book, I am mentioning it for those that need to hear it before reading. I liked this series but dang, this one was hard to get through. Good finale to the series.
This series is so well written I was completely unable to put it down. However, Celeste you are pure evil with that ending it was completely heartbreaking
