Hopperisms: A compendium of short stories written, in Verse and Prose, as a Book summary, a Remembrance, and a Letter, all presenting an exposé of one man’s philosophies and eccentricities.
A compendium of short stories written, in Verse and Prose, as a Book summary, a Remembrance, and a Letter. Each story comments on life, through its highs and lows, with 'hope' as an instigator of creativity for a better world. These stories include themes on the need to remember, the need to preserve, and the need to acknowledge people's courage and contribution to others. There is also an examination of the Climate and Covid crises and how we, the human race dealt with such issues. In addition, there is humour with 'The Chicken wing', 'The Misfortunes of Maurice Mulcahy', 'Marriage and Romance', 'The Drip', 'The Christmas Crank', 'The Christmas Strike', and 'Roland Gump'. Three of the short prose stories would fall into the 'strange/other world' category as would the verse 'The Bogeyman'. However, the final contribution in verse titled 'Death' is in fact, up-beat and hopeful.
