This is an outstanding book that gives well researched information that results in exceptional knowledge on the events that lead up to the Declaration and its signing and the difficulties surrounding it. It also educate us on the meaning behind it and how it should be understood. It debunks some myths about the signers that were created in the early 20th century. This is a must read for anyone who wants to understand both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
