Eli has evolved sexually, from naíve and vanilla to a blossoming femboy slut. He’s intelligent, gullible, kind, and sexy... and he’s dealt with betrayal and lies, and meanness from friends, enemies and lovers.
In “Triumph”, Eli faces the most treacherous of obstacles. Blind infatuation, lust and love lead him into a danger he could never imagine. He learns who his real friends are; some of whom turn out to be the most unexpected people.
With each new adventure, Eli has learned about himself and life in general, and he’s gained wisdom.
But can wisdom alone help him choose between two lovers? Or can he keep them both?
The well-seasoned duo of B.J. Frazier and Jessie Spectre present a surprise ending whollop in the series finale... one which has crescendoed since the very beginning.
B.J. Frazier is an award-winning author of erotica from the U.S. Her professional résumé includes high school English teacher, advertising executive, business owner, certified Master Sexpert, Relationship Coach, Love Coach, and Sexologist. B.J. draws upon her diverse background to create believable and relatable characters and stories.
B.J. also writes from personal experience in Femdom, which adds realism to her stories.
A self-proclaimed feedback whore, B.J. loves to receive feedback from her readers. The comments she never tires of hearing are, "you're so readable" and "your characters are relatable." The stand-out comment is from a very vanilla reader, who said, "I don't mean to be insulting, but I think 'Mistress Managed' can be mainstream!"
When she's not writing or reading, B.J. loves playing games of all kinds (except mind games--though she's good at those, too); board, card, dice, and especially word games. She also loves jigsaw puzzles, but is very particular: The pieces must be thick and interlocking.
Her happy place is Vegas, but she is also happiest spending time with her puppies, daughters, friends… and anything involving chocolate.
It’s the final book in this great series! Reading this book gave me a strange mix of anticipation and dread that comes with a final installment. I wanted closure, sure, but I also didn’t want the series to soften itself just to wrap things up neatly. Thankfully, this book doesn’t do that. It picks up immediately after Book Four and carries forward all the emotional tension, unresolved dynamics, and quiet damage Eli has been accumulating along the way. I won’t lie, something in my mind also was not accepting that this is the final book, and I thought, or maybe my mind made a wishful desire, that there are six books and that I’m still not in the last one!
The story in Triumph feels less like a dramatic escalation and more like a slow emotional turning. Eli is still caught between different forces—Bernie, Jordan, Clem, the world of cam work, but something subtle has shifted. He’s no longer just being acted upon. He’s questioning. Hesitating. Testing what it means to want something for himself instead of simply accepting what’s handed to him. The narrative takes its time with that process, which I appreciated, even when it felt uncomfortable to sit with.
A large part of the book revolves around Eli’s renewed connection with Jordan Steed, and I found those sections especially revealing. Their chemistry is immediate, but what matters more is the contrast Jordan represents: affection without overt manipulation, desire without a constant power tax. The story doesn’t present this as a clean escape route, though. Instead, it lingers in the discomfort—Eli questioning whether warmth can coexist with the identity he’s been molded into, and whether care always has a hidden price. That tension gives the book its emotional spine.
As a final book, I think Triumph doesn’t offer a fairy-tale ending—and honestly, that’s why it works. It closes Eli’s arc in a way that feels emotionally truthful rather than narratively convenient. There’s growth here, but it’s uneven and fragile, the kind that could still falter. That feels realistic and right for this story.
When I look back at the series as a whole, Eli stands out for its refusal to simplify complicated desires or water down uncomfortable dynamics. Across the five books in this series, it explores control, vulnerability, and identity in ways that aren’t always easy to read, but are consistently compelling. It was very hard for me to say goodbye to these characters. Regardless, Triumph feels less like a victory parade and more like a moment of clarity, and for this series, that’s exactly the ending it needed.
Loved this entire series so much! I read all 5 back to back, and did not want to put them down. I won't spoil it, but the ending was fantastic! Not at all what I was expecting, which made it that much better. Now on to another series by B.J. Frazier!
I actually finished this a few days ago, but needed some time to process it. If you’ve been following my reviews of the Eli series, then you know I’ve talked about the emotional roller coaster that B.J. Frazier & Jessie Spectre have taken us on. It’s been fun and fabulous, often inspiring and sometimes amusing, but there’s been this ominous feeling beneath it all, the dread of a looming confrontation at the end. The story could have sidestepped that darkness, snatched Eli away from the brink, but as much as I silently raged against B.J. and Jessie in reading this, I admire them for sticking to the story and where it had to go.
This final volume is the culmination of Eli’s journey in so many ways. It is an entirely satisfying conclusion in that it wraps up all the outstanding questions and issues, but it’s also a difficult one. Eli is forced to confront the darkness at the heat of Bernie’s plan, the violence that can happen when the rules and ethics of the BDSM power-exchange are discarded, and that went deeper and darker than I expected (or even feared).
It’s hard to say much without spoiling the journey that’s taken us to this point, but emotions are explored, agendas revealed, justifications offered, and excuses thrown up. This book really transforms the entire series, but it’s not so simple as that sounds. Even as we’re forced to confront the darkness beneath the story, B.J. and Jessie confirm that many of the emotions were genuine. So much of what we thought we knew about this world is flipped on its head, which may sounds like a cheat, but it’s not that at all. We’ve been experiencing the story through Eli and Bernie, and Eli’s perceptions are largely shaped by Bernie, so it makes sense that stepping outside them would reveal things we didn’t expect . . . and others for which we could only hope.
There were scenes here that made the squeal with joy (oh, how I wish I could spoil the secret in the basement!), and others that made me thankful for the bravery of friends (even those unexpected). For all the darkness, Eli is loved deeply, and when he needs it most, those who care the deepest are there. You’ll be surprised at who turns up, and even more surprised as how some of them turn up, but it all feels natural. There’s often a tendency to force too much into the end of a series like this, but this feels like a natural end – or, not an end, a transition to a new beginning.
I’m so grateful for being invited to explore this series, and for having the chance to share my impressions with readers. If you’ve been at all curious, then I urge you to give it a chance – you’ll be glad you did.
I was eagerly looking forward to this last installment of Eli, and it did not disappoint in the slightest. The subtitle of "Triumph" is so very appropriate and I can say I feel happy with the closing of Eli's story.
I felt so many varying emotions while reading, horny being chief among them. But there were also moments of sadness, anger, levity, and joy throughout this book.
There were so many sexual, kinky scenes intertwined with these moments that it wasn't unusual to feel these varying emotions while also being excitedly stimulated. I will say, there were some levels of kink that I wasn't so comfortable with, but it was integral to the story and there were plenty of other scenes to keep me invested.
Eli is an incredible title character who's growth has been awesome to read, despite the challenges he faces at various times throughout the series. The supporting cast of characters in this series are amazing as well, and I have to shout out Clem specifically.
Since her initial introduction, I've always had a high opinion of her, and I genuinely have love for her. If there is such a thing as a fairy godmother of the erotica genre, that's her. I'd want to go into detail, but I fear I'd spoil things, and it's always more fun to fall for a character on your own.
It's a bittersweet feeling reading those last few sentences before "The End" creeps up, but I can say I thoroughly enjoyed the ride, or more appropriately, rides along the way. The entire series was filled with incredibly kinky and hot scenarios, but also struggle, strife, friendships, and love.
I feel grateful to have read the entire series wonderfully written by the incredible authors B.J. Frazier and Jesse Spectre. I genuinely feel like I learned a lot from this series and love that my mind has been opened up by the fantastically sexy and kinky world they created.
I've reached the end of a fascinating and extremely hot series. And what an ending it is! All other 4 books have already sent me on a rollercoaster ride - but it was nothing compared to the final ride. At some times I almost wanted to cry "NOOOO" other parts made me say: "Yes". I thought I was well prepared for a twist, but I was wrong. B.J. Frazier and Jessie Spectre caught me completely unprepared. But that is exactly what made it so good to read. Although I wasn't sure about reading the Eli series at first, I wouldn't want to miss one single word and I loved every second of dreaming.
The final installment of the series takes the truly sordid turn hinted at from the beginning, with danger, excitement, suspense, twists and turns as mysteries are revealed and friends differentiated from foe. In the end Love is blind but vengeance doubly so, While it treads some dark territory the story was ultimately satisfying. I was moved and the ending truly did not disappoint.
I have to say I found parts of this final chapter in Eli's story to be shocking, yet satisfying. Will Eli choose wisely? Will Bernie come to his senses? Both are answered in this intense finale.
Very interesting read, ever evolving for the young man and his friends. Able to relate more to him with each new story. VERY EXCITING!.could not put down till I was finished. What a finish. Or perhaps what a beginning.thank you Ms Frazier.thank you for a wonderful series
