Another fabulous filthy read!!! Morally gray doesn't even begin to describe a man like lord Declan Santori!! He has found Mia Rogers after hunting for her for seven long years! And now that he's found her, she's going to pay for running away all the years ago. Mia has tried to stay hidden from the dangerous and depraved Declan even though her body craves what only he can give her so when they see each other again for the first time Mia knows the charming and charismatic Declan that every one sees is actually a vengeful prick who intends on bringing her to her knees till all she is and has is destroyed, if she doesn't play nice and become his personal whore!! But Mia isn't that love struck overweight young girl who stalked him in the showers anymore! Since Declan she has dominated every man she's been with in the bedroom and has worked her ass off to get where she is and she'll be damned if he's going to take that away from her! So he can bring on the humiliation and the public displays of ownership all he wants but it will be him who will kneel! Because they both know that Mia loves what he does to her body and together some how these two totally fucked up people actually found one another. Read the trigger warnings!!!!! This is a filthy read full of all kinds of depraved shit and theirs no love making only raw primal sex! Both are willing participants and their are no victims.
We do finally get some of what created a man like Declan and its screwed up and even though he is a psychotic prick at times little by little we see that in his mind that he blames Mia for making him a worse monster then he already was! Because no matter how fucked up he is, I do think he loves her. Not my kind of guy but to each his own. Don't get me wrong I still love this dangerous bad boy but from afar!😉 Kind of like watching a caged tiger, beautiful to look at but if he gets out your fucked!

What a whirlwind this book was, we got our first introduction to this couple with the prequel frat boy billionaire and i was already hooked with this bad boy. He made me freaking squeal my lungs out. And this book did justice to the prequel.
Declan has been obessed with Mia for seven years, ever since she left him in college. He has plotted his revenge for the day he finally gets to see her again. Mia has been avoiding him, knowing that Declan doesn't give up easily and that when he finds her, his revenge will be bitter sweet. They both have their dark side, that is what attracted them to eachother so many years ago and why this attraction is still there. He wants to own her in every way possible, spoil her for whatever man comes next, knowing he will never even let it get that far. Because Mia Rogers is his to have, to protect, to... HIS!
I don't know what it says about me but i am obsessed with Declan, with this story. It's so dark and depraved, i can't get enough of it. I'm absolutely obsessed! Mia is so strong, she knows her worth, has worked so hard, to get to where she is but she was afraid of giving in to her darkest desires, knowing that only Declan can give that to her. And i understand that. It's really powerful to give in, but very scary. Declan is everything i never knew i needed, the level of obsession this man has with her. OMG, gimme it! He shows everybody who she belongs to, but makes sure she is protected aswell. I mean come on, really. It gave me goosebumps, knowing that even tho he brings out the darkest part of you while also simultanously protecting you. YES PLEASE! I loved it from start to finish.

So we are on the second half of Mia and Declan's story and if you thought the first half was dark and twisted, you ain't seen nothing yet!
As always Ana C Blacklace writes complex characters that draw you into their lives and you really care what happens to them, even if it means they are better apart. Can Mia even survive Declan's obsessive, violent, possessive needs and desires? Will she manage to escape him again and run from him or can she accept his violent, twisted ideas of love and ownership? On the other hand can Declan make her want to stay or will he have to imprison Mia to keep her? Can he unlock what he thinks are her true depravities and need for him? Most importantly can he by some miracle win her love? And if he does can she find and heal the frightened, abused and damaged young boy deep inside him? Can he also protect her and keep her safe? So many questions!
This really is a f'd up and twisted relationship. It is also as hot as hell, it's the darkest book so far in this series and if you like really dark romance you will love this book. If you haven't read any of the other books in the series you really need to read the first half of their story first. I honestly can't praise this book and series enough and I know I will read them again. I can't wait to start the next book!

We first read about Mia and Declan in Frat Boy Billionaire…now seven years later her past has caught up with her! This is a very, very dark BDSM themed book. Mia knows she is twisted, but only Declan can fulfill those desires. He debases her in front of others, he is obsessed with her; she is with him as well. When others meet a horrendous fate when trying to attack her, it is Declan who will be the punisher. He owns her body and soul. Their love is twisted in ways they only understand. They cannot deny the need that keeps pressing them closer to one another. A big night, one private party, and things will become even darker for the enemies make a huge misstep! This book is full of dark perverted actions, a twisted love, action, and high heat! This is a world many would not like to read! If you enjoy this world, Ana did an EXCELLENT job of bringing this story to fruition. Trust me, you will need to read the other story first, Frat Boy Billionaire, so you can understand the full story that is Declan and Mia! Also, before reading this one, you will want to read His Twisted Fantasy and Toxic Entanglement to also understand who these two are and the roles they play. This series gets more intense and heated up with each couple introduced into the mix.

I didn’t think that this series could get hotter but I was proven sooo wrong!
In this book Mia and Declan finally meet after parting ways in college and the heat hasn’t faded but has actually got hotter!
I’ve always like Mia in this series as she takes no prisoners and is straight to the point. Declan on the other hand has always been Mr. Super-Mysterious and nothing really changes until Mia finally gets to know him again.
Unlike the toing and froing in the last couple of books this is a complete u-turn and is an unexpected and refreshing change. To be honest, the story, when you think about it, is just like Declan and Mia’s personalities, which are straight to the point.
This is a hot hot book, with a lot of emotion, love, (very) dark romance, revenge and a lovely happily ever after - what more could you need!

Whew, that was an intense ride! This book is full of deja vu of the prequel, but not in a boring sense. Declan and Mia have unresolved issues that they need to deal with. I highly recommend reading their prequel novella beforehand, otherwise you’ll miss out on some key details about their past and why Declan is determined to make sure Mia doesn’t get away from him again. Definitely mind the trigger warnings, because it is dark. It still shocks me that Declan is more psychotic than Jax, but I think that is what also makes him so passionate. I was pleasantly surprised how much of the book was in Declan’s perspective; Mia’s point of view was also vital, but I really enjoyed delving into Declan’s twisted mind. I think this one might be my favorite one in the series so far (definitely the hottest!), and I really hope that we still get another book following these two – or at least a novella!

The orgy was over the top. The transition from resisting him to surrendering to him was very quick, lots of bbs. Romance was secondary to the kinky sex ( see tropes ).

This story drags them both through her worst nightmares and secret desires. A really good story that was the 3rd book in the series!

A Dangerous Affair by Ana Blacklace is the gripping story of Declan and Mia. Whew!!! What a crazy, intense story!! She’s been hiding from him for years…she doesn’t want to see him again. Then, even after planning it all out so they don’t meet up, she runs into him unexpectedly. Now, he wants his revenge. He will stop at nothing to embarrass and degrade her. He will make her pay.
This story was AAAAAAAMAZING!!!! I loved reading every moment of it!!! Declan is so horrific to her….she has no choice but to take it. Unbelievably great read!!!

I am blown away that I apparent have a hint for dark bully “romance” ca this was twisted AF and.p I still enjoyed it. Was hoping for a better ending for Lucretia but, overall…enjoyed the story.

I’m glad this was a KU book
This was NOT a “dark romance”. Maybe erotic short stories if you’re into dark spiritual eroticism. It had the same basic plot as the previous 2 books so don’t expect originality from book to book. I won’t be reading anymore of Ana’s books.

I read books 1 & 2 before this book. I really enjoyed those books. They were addictive. This book just kept repeating itself and the sex scenes were… amateurish especially after books 1 & 2.
