A bookworm from Clear Creek The most eligible bachelor in New York And one tiny miracle …
Winnie Snow was excited to travel to New York with her brother Wellington, his new wife, and her parents. What adventures they were going to have! She couldn’t wait to show Sheriff Turner and his family the city! One adventure she didn’t expect was Ashton Bartlett. She’d tagged along with Wellington and Ashton whenever she got the chance when they were younger. But he was different now, and she wondered how the man she’d been sweet on since she was twelve could change so much. This wasn’t the kind-hearted, considerate man she used to know. This was an arrogant snob. Could she find the old Ashton and pit him against the new? And if she did, which would win? Worse, there were moments when the old Ashton surfaced, and she remembered all the reasons she was sweet on him years ago, and…oh dear! Still was! Would she ever see the old Ashton again? But when Ashton decides to make a trip to Clear Creek, Winnie begins to wonder what his motives are. Does he truly want to see where she and her family live? Or is he going just so he can prove to the residents in Clear Creek that they’re all beneath him? Find out in this sweet historical western romance as only Kit Morgan can deliver!
Kit Morgan, aka Geralyn Beauchamp, has been writing for fun all of her life. When writing as Geralyn Beauchamp, her books are epic, adventurous, romantic fantasy at its best. When writing as Kit Morgan they are whimsical, fun, inspirational sweet and clean stories that depict a strong sense of family and community. 'His Prairie Princess' is the first of the Prairie Brides books and the first in the series of a long line of stories about Clear Creek, Oregon. One of the wackiest little towns in the old west! Get to know the townsfolk in Clear Creek and come sit a spell!
NOTE: Hi folks, it has come to my attention there is an erotica book floating around out there written under the name Kit Morgan. IT IS NOT MY BOOK! I do not, and never will, write in that genre.
Winnie traveled back to New York with her brother and sister-in-law and rekindled her friendship with Ashton, who she liked since she was 12 years old. Ashton went back to Clear Creek to visit and see for himself the peaceful place he had heard about for so long. What he found there changed his life forever. Good story.
Change can be both bad and good. In Ashton’s case he was changing for the worst and under Winnie’s influence changed for the better. The upper crust of New York vastly underestimated the country bumpkins from Clear Creek. This book contains humor, romance and a few life lessons. I really enjoyed it.
I liked the characters in this book all people who learned that Monet wasn’t the most important thing in life how you live and conduct yourself as a human were most important
As always enjoy the story, was glad to see Ashton Change truly did not like him at first. I think Harvey’s heart attack helped him to get a glimpse of that miracles can happen. Even for them to help the Browns was special.
It’s interesting how God can put you in the right place to see things differently and forever be changed. And he is still a miracle working God! I can testify to that!!!
Clear creek and all the folks are here and as usual it is fun to spend time watching and enjoying everyone intervene in a blooming romance. Still a touch of mystery, humor and love abounds and keeps you reading until the end. Very good!
Thank you for this exciting love story about Winnie and Ashton. I found the characters in Clear Creek were warm and caring compared to the city folk. Winnie and Ashton made the best choice.
