From the beginning the gospel has been told through stories, and here is an outstanding example of how it can be done today. This is powerful stuff that convicts and convinces. DR. TONY CAM POLO Professor/Pastor/Author/Lecturer

I found this book helpful as the parables were updated to modern day stories. To me this was more helpful than the stories being told with women replacing the men in them. The modern day twist helped me see these events as every day events and pointed to where I can change things in my own life.
Wonderful look at four parables. I love the view the author takes...how she approaches each story from a modern day touch and from a woman's perspective. This one might give you sore toes because it will definitely stomp on your feet. The "exposed meaning" (Crystal Lewis) is attention getting. This book will make you think and feel. Open up the book and open up your heart and mind to the message presented as it unfolds.
A powerful look at a woman's place in the bible. Great book for anyone new to church or the ministry. Helps to establish a woman's place in the pulpit. Perfect for anyone who questions or wonders about having only men in leadership roles in the church.
Opens a new view to some probing parables. Now that I have finished the book it gave me questions to ask myself and brought the parables to my current life. A very thought probing book.
