I was anxiously waiting for this book, I was not disappointed! It is easily my favorite of the series, never ending drama, secrets, twists, and turns; I could not stop reading. There is A LOT going on in this book, yet, I was never overwhelmed. Wade and Leia are meant to be together, but there is a lot of things that need to line up for this to happen, and then the ending, Wow! I am unsure if the next book can top this, but I am excited to read more about the Carsons.

I loved this one, probably even more than the previous one, but I have to say the way these brothers go back and forth in their decisions cause me whiplash... They love with all their heart but they also hate with all they have inside. Odd as Cole didn't die sooner... the waiting game is not really their thing.

Super exciting conclusion to Wade and Leia's duet! Fantastic writing with twists, turns, and dark secrets revealed that will keep you glued to your kindle until it's done. I loved Wade. I liked how he had golden retriever energy despite how dark the book got. He's definitely all in for his girl and will do anything to protect her and unravel the mess that was at least partially his of the making. Leia is such a survivor and has been done a great disservice by all the people in her life that were supposed to take care of her. The chemistry between them was super hot! For all the tragedy, there are some great redemption arcs and a HEA that is both hard fought and well deserved. Lots of little bread crumbs of what's to come! Such a great series and I'm excited to see where it goes.

I was so excited to get my hands on this book. Leia and Wade are my favorite couple and they have an awesome story so far. Oh boy did Emma not disappoint ( she never does) . I think this book is my favorite of the series. I love everything about it. The love ,the drama, the twists and turns and the cliffhanger of course. These cowboys don't disappoint and they are hella sexy and bad ass, and so are the ladies in this book. it was so good and kept my wanting more like all of Emma's books. Can't wait for the next one. I NEED to know what happens next. Oh and can't forget the cover. The cover is soo hot and perfect. LOVE IT!!

I've been looking forward to Wade and Leia's story for a while, I knew it would be explosive but what I wasn't ready for was the onslaught of emotions, it took me on a rollercoaster that I did not want to get off.
I've been rooting for these guys from the beginning.
This high intense read had my heart in my mouth throughout, I couldn't read it fast enough whilst simultaneously wanting to savour every word. I absolutely love these corrupt cowboys, every one just gets better and better.
I can't wait for more.

Wade & Leia’s story was great, I love them together, but felt like everything was crammed in and made this book on the shorter side. It was still really good and kept me hooked. I cannot wait for the 5th one… assuming it’s Cole’s turn next!

All the revelations in this book have literally made me feel like my head is going to explode, their mom finally spilling the truth… holy shit!!!! And the way events play out too. Revenge is sweet 🙃 they really got at Caleb in the best way possible!!

I’m so happy with Wade and Leia’s ending they both deserve that happiness so much!!!

Saddle up and hang on because the story of Leia and Wade continues and it's a wild ride.

Leia is currently married to a man she doesn't love and the incredibly protective Wade is determined to make things right for them... even if it means breaking limits.
Bronc rider / cowboy Wade is a hero that will have you in love and swooning hard! His loyalty to his family is strong, the depth in which he loves Leia is soul deep and the lengths in which he will go to keep her safe and with him forever are endless. This man will absolutely do it all!!!!
My heart went out to Leia. She was made to marry a horrible man to protect her family when to be honest most of them deserve zero loyalty.
But... she was admirably so determined and strong. She damn well deserved a HEA and she deserved it with Wade, They really are perfect for each other.

What a crazy journey for them though, it really had it all.
It was riddled with revenge, shocking twists, action, steam, emotion, and Carson men who have zero limits when it comes to protecting those that they love.

With continuing plots and little easter egg drops of what's to come, I can't wait for more.
I'm loving this world that Emma Creed has created and I highly recommend this read!!
But.... if you haven't already I most definitely recommend you start with Book 1 of the series
!

This was a great ending to the duet and a great addition to the series! There were so many unexpected moments and surprises! I loved Wade and Leia's story, though it was sometimes tough to read what they endured. I won't lie, I'm nervous about where Emma Creed may take us next with Cole's journey, but I'm also a bit excited to see how it all works out!

good binge book! still a great book but gave a 3 because i’m not sure if this outcome is realistic. It all comes full circle in the end, but i don’t know if i believe mayor walker would fess up so easily to his daughter like that. I think if he was so desperate to be saved he would have fabricated a story that pinned it to look like his life was in danger or the mothers life, he was too quick to tell her all his wrong doings.


dalton being a brother was a turn i didn’t expect, appreciated the suspense of that whole situation with the boys’ father.

I’m roped, hooked and totally fallen for these Carson men who will stop at nothing in getting what they want!

This was left on a very emotional cliffhanger from the previous book and a few weeks later we see how these decisions have left Wade & Leia. These two really did need to find their way back, not only to each other but themselves. They have both lost themselves and are dealing with their current situations now. I loved that Emma never ever holds back on emotions and dramas that unfold, the detail really does give you a clear idea of what is happening…and gripping the pages too!

I love how the Carson family is growing & developing! Bringing new bright characters into it to shake everyone up and surprising ones that get pulled into the family too! We also uncover some family secrets that really twist things up and have you wondering how this will all play out as the series goes on.

With surprises, tension and hell of a lot of steamy sex…you really would want to read with no interruptions!

What I liked- Triplets! Yay! I also thought that the book’s climax was exciting. I liked how they dealt with that. I also liked the teasing of a possible book or books about Cole and Savannah.
What I didn’t- this was not my favorite book in this series. It was dark, with a lot of tough-to-read parts. I don’t like books with S. Assault or with one of the lovers married to someone else. So I had trouble with this one. It was eventful and never boring, and it was satisfying that some characters got theirs, though violent. Verdict- there are difficult parts, but the book is well written. It did further the overall story arc, so it’s not a book you can skip just because it’s uncomfortable. I’m sticking with the series and would recommend it, even though this book was not my favorite.

Breaking Limits is book 4 in the Corrupt Cowboys series by Emma Creed…and let me tell you…just when I thought she couldn’t surprise me, she did it in spades. My head is still reeling from everything that happened in this book.

Wade and Leia have had a real difficult go, and as was left at the end of Testing Limits, Leia is now married to Caleb Mason. But she is far from happy. And when Wade finds out what’s been going on, he tries his hardest to not kill Caleb. But things must be done a certain way. There are certain people with a horse in the race that could cause huge problems for the Carson Ranch if Wade gets his way. So, will Garrett and Cole be able to keep him on solid ground? When family secrets are brought to light, will they Carson boys be able to put everything back together again?

Emma does it again- bringing me to the brink of madness with the page-flipping. I was ravenous and needed to know what happened next. I find myself falling deeper and deeper into the Carson family. Emma’s ability to build a world and have readers fall in love with her characters is just incredible. I am fully invested in everything Carson. Even though I just finished Breaking Limits, I am foaming at the mouth for Pushing Limits- book 5. I HIGHLY recommend this series- but definitely start with Book 1- Off Limits (the first book in the Corrupt Cowboys series and book 1 of the Garrett/Maisie duet).

Wow, this story just kept surprising me. There are quite a few unanticipated ones. Wade finally gets his head on straight and comes home for Leia. Breaking Limits is part 2 of a duet. You really should read Testing Limits, book 3 in the Corrupt Cowboys series by Emma Creed.

Loved Emma Creed's Dirty Souls series but wasn't sure about this one. I have come to the conclusion I just love the way she crafts stories. Nothing is off limits for her. Wade finally decides to not hold back and will do whatever it takes to get Leia.

Leia is a strong female character. She has her low moments when she has lost hope. When Wade and Leia are together they make each other better, stronger. In Breaking Limits some of the secrets from the earlier books are revealed. I kept saying 'no way' as I was reading. The story just kept surprising me.

I love the world these characters live in. I have a great picture in my mind of this place due to the writing. While a good deal in resolved more questions were dropped. I am anxiously awaiting the next in the series with Cole.

By The Goddess, this series is absolutely addicting and completely mind blowing. That being said, I have to admit I struggled quite a bit when I first started this book, simply because I was very annoyed with Leia and really didn't like her much. Now, don't get me wrong, I felt for her, I mean how could you not, but I was just not a fan of her attitude or actions. Don't worry though because Wade didn't escape my judgement. Some of his actions also left me quite peeved. Frankly, I've come to expect this because this author truly travels their own path. So, don't expect rainbows, kittens and everything to work out just fine or go the way you anticipate because you have zero guarantees about anything. I HIGHLY recommend that you start this series at book one and read through. There are overarching storylines playing out that you are definitely going to want to be in the know about. As usual there were some super-duper, MEGA twists that will literally have you scraping your jaw off the floor and a few stunning revelations that delivered answers to questions we've been long waiting for. Anxiously looking forward to book 5!

Without giving too much away, I almost want to start at the end and say this: I love it when a strong woman whose soul is being dimmed and crushed remembers her own strength. Leia does exactly that in this book, and it’s pure perfection. Despite the heartbreak, the truth, and the consequences her actions might bring, I truly believe she’ll find her own peace—and power—on the other side.

Wade? That man just keeps getting hotter. Honestly. Loyal, brooding, determined—what’s not to love?

As for Cole… his soul is dark, but I know there’s light still in there, waiting for the right person to bring it out. I have a strong feeling Savannah is going to be the one to crack him wide open while also finding herself in the process.

And boom—another Carson surprise, this time revolving around Calton, and I did not see it coming. It definitely adds another layer of tension, but the Carson brothers, for the most part, take it in their stride. That bond between them remains unshakeable.

It’s not just the Carsons with secrets, though—the Masons have their own mess brewing beneath the surface. They’ve always felt like the wish version of the Carsons to me, and that feeling only gets stronger in this book.

Still absolutely not a fan of Harvey or the organisation he’s tied to. I really hope Emma Creed is setting things up for a well-deserved downfall, because they’ve got it coming.

And I have to say—I love the Riverboys too. They’re loyal and fierce but always slightly set apart. There's this ongoing tension around what that brand really means to them, and it adds such an interesting edge to the group dynamic.

Another fantastic read—gritty, emotional, packed with tension and just the right amount of heat. I've already picked up Book 5!

In book 4 in the Corrupt Cowboys series, Wade and Leia are still the focus couple, and honestly, I had no idea how anything could be sorted for them both, especially for Leia—getting out of her disastrous marriage to Caleb seemed way to difficult.

This story had some very dark elements that brings forth lots of intense emotions; adding to that is the ongoing mystery of who murdered Cora and Aubrey—so exciting and suspenseful. Secrets were revealed, some known or suspected and others a complete shock! But all help to amplify the excitement and drama in the story to the ultimate level where I couldn’t put this book down.

Getting to know each Carson member that little bit more was special, as well as, meeting new characters. A small insight into what might eventuate in future books in this series teased us readers, but it’s all good. I have no idea how this author keeps each part of the story separated yet crosses over when necessary. That’s quality writing for and this is yet another brilliantly plotted story where plenty of limits are definitely broken.

Breaking Limits is book 4 in ‘The Corrupt Cowboys’ series and part two of Wade and Leia’s duet of books. Wade has loved Leia for many years but leaves her and returns to the rodeo in order to protect her from the ugly truth about her father. An heartbroken Leia agrees to marry Caleb Mason, an archenemy of the Carson family, at her father’s request. She suffers terrible abuse from her husband and Wade, realising he made a mistake in leaving, returns to avenge her.

Another deliciously dark and dangerous read from Ms Creed. A well written and absolutely captivating storyline which is certainly not for the faint hearted. Many questions are answered but many more are raised along with one or two curveballs that you don’t see coming.

This author has once again created an emotional rollercoaster that’s full of angst, heartache, twists and turns, revenge, secrets, searing hot passion and heartwarming love. I can’t wait for the next instalment in the series which will be middle brother, Cole’s story. Simply amazing and a definite 5 stars.
