The story was intriguing to follow although I wish the author's writing style had been more descriptive. He filled the book with literal transcripts from the court testimony and it sometimes was a bit dry. The ending was a surprise twist that was very disturbing. But when writing non-fiction, the author must relate the true facts of the story - whether good or bad.
Thank you, Angie, for sending me this book. It was so interesting to know that you live in the area where this story took place and it made your town come alive.
This was a re-read for me - not only is the story interesting and touching , it is a true story which took place in my home town . It was written by a local lawyer , in a straight forward and attention to detail style .
